Family cabin with Skogshorn views

From this cabin, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Skogshorn and Tisleifjorden. There are no other cabins in front or on either side, and the evening sun shines until 10:30 p.m. on Midsummer’s Eve. In the summer, 100 goats graze on the mountain pasture next door—charming and barely audible.



The cabin is practically furnished and provides a great base for both active days and relaxing evenings. You can light a fire in the outdoor fire pit or the indoor fireplace whenever you want to create some extra coziness.



The property is fenced in, and you have direct access to hiking trails. Right behind the cabin, the trail leads up to Auenhaugen, where you can see the Hemsedal Mountains, Hallingskarvet, and Jotunheimen. Down toward Tisleifjorden, you’ll find fishing spots and swimming areas.



Golsfjellet offers marked hiking trails, barbecue huts, and beautiful bike rides through the mountain pasture landscape. Hemsedal, Jotunheimen, and Lærdal are within easy reach. The center of Gol has shops and amenities, including grocery stores open on Sundays.
