Within an hour to 1 1/2 hrs drive we have Mt Hood, the Evergreen Aviation Museum, the Grande Rhonde Casino , the Oregon Coast , Oregon Gardens, Silver Falls, George Fox University, Linfield College and, of course, Portland and all it has to offer.
