Casa Romaní – Holiday home near Lake Banyoles

The holiday home sits on a fenced property shared with the house of the owners, a family who is very careful to respect the guests’ privacy. It is a modern welcoming house, with functional furniture, and has all the necessary services and amenities to make you feel at home. Its warm bright spaces will make you feel comfortable at any time of year, and it has views outside.

You go into the property through a metal gate using an access code. There is a covered porch, a garage, a terrace-patio with a portable barbecue behind the house for the exclusive use of the guests, a terrace-patio in front of the house plus plenty of space to park cars. There are no areas shared with the owners of the property.

The holiday home is arranged all on one floor and there are no stairs, making it suitable for guests with reduced mobility and or who use wheelchairs.

THE HOUSE

The main entrance to the house is via the covered porch and you go directly into a large open-plan space full of natural light from the large windows and doors which lead outside. There is a lounge area with a double sofa bed, TV, fireplace and some other furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a dining table with chairs and glass doors leading to the terrace outside.

On the same floor, we find 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and a small sofa, and the other one with two single beds and a desk. They are comfortable spaces, with wardrobes, bedside tables and reading lamps. There is 1 full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

Free wifi, air conditioning and heating.

OUTSIDE

In front of the house, there is a covered porch with a bench and a terrace-patio area. Behind the house is a partially covered terrace and patio with a small table and chairs, portable barbecue and views of the countryside. In summer, a small pool can be installed for the children. Space for parking cars.

On the other side of the road, there is a children’s playground, a sports zone and an outdoor fitness area with workout equipment.

GARAGE

Next to the house is a garage with a sink, washing machine, clothes line and a place for keeping bicycles.

Animals are not allowed.

Kitchen equipped with fridge-freezer, oven, vitroceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso-Philips coffee capsule machine, toaster, juicer and tableware.

Lounge-dining room: table and chairs, sofa-bed, TV, fireplace, other furniture.

2 Bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds. Wardrobes, bedside tables, reading lamps, doors leading outside. Double sofa-bed in the lounge.

1 Bathroom: shower, sink, toilet, towels and hair dryer.

Comfort: Wifi throughout the house, air conditioning, heating, parking.

Garage: washing machine, iron and ironing board, clothes lines, place for keeping bicycles.

Outside: Covered porch with bench and terrace-patio in front of the house. Partially covered terrace, table and chairs, patio, portable barbecue, views behind the house. In summer, a small pool can be installed for the children. Car parking.

Location / Area

Casa Romaní is located in a very quiet and well-connected area, surrounded by countryside, with many routes for cyclists. Banyoles is 7 minutes’ drive from the house and has all the necessary services such as supermarkets and restaurants, and you can go walking and cycling around the lake, an excursion suitable for all the family.

The city of Girona with its old town, shops, restaurants and museums is 25 minutes away by car and the main beaches of the Costa Brava are 40 minutes away.
