Our apartments at Surfside Martinique are not just beautiful; they’re also incredibly comfortable and functional! With ample square footage interior and a large deck just outside your door, you’ll have plenty of room to relax and all the space you need to make the most of your Caribbean escape!

Absolutely! While Martinique may feel like a distant paradise, it boasts one of the best infrastructures in the Caribbean, thanks to its status as a French Department. You’ll find smooth, well-maintained roads that make exploring the island effortless.

In our small village of Tartane there are tiny grocery stores, a gas station, several restaurants and cafes and some small marches where you can buy local fruits and vegetables. You can also buy fresh fish daily caught by the fisherman of the village.

Need medical assistance? You’ll have access to top-notch hospitals and skilled doctors nearby. For everyday needs, supermarkets stocked with French delicacies and fine wines are just around the corner. And let’s not forget the local bakeries! Imagine indulging in flaky pain au chocolat or fresh baguettes just five minutes from your door for the perfect breakfast treat. It’s a little taste of France, right in the Caribbean!

Surfside Martinique is located at the very tip of the peninsula we call the "Caravelle" which is the French name used to describe the ships used by Christopher Columbus who discovered the island in 1502.

Directly in front of the apartment is our beach, which we lovingly call "Surfer's Beach", and as you can see from the pictures of the surf, it is a name well chosen, although it is not the only surf spot on the island. There are several other spots on the east coast and others on the northwest. We have surfboards to rent right here and can help set up lessons if you desire.

Just a few steps east of Surfside Martinique, you’ll discover the stunning nature preserve—an outdoor enthusiast's paradise! Hike through lush trails, where vibrant flora and fauna abound, and don’t miss the chance to unwind on secluded beaches that feel like your own private getaway. There are hikes for all levels in the preserve from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Make sure to visit the iconic lighthouse, which offers breathtaking views of the coastline and endless blue waters. It’s the perfect spot for that Instagram-worthy photo!

And for a touch of history, explore Chateau Dubuc, the ancient ruins that tell the story of pioneering farming families.
