Ou beautiful 1920's cottage is full of charm. Watch the sailboats race on Sundays. Walk to The Oaks fine dining restaurant. Windows face every angle of the lake and will offer breathtaking views of the sunset no matter where you are in the house. This original Chippewa Lake Park cottage has tons of character. Launch your boat on the public ramp for a day of water skiing or fishing.

Absolutely beautiful location with incredible views of the lake just outside your windows, incredible sunsets and easy access to local restaurants within walking distance. Cottage was clean,well equipped and communication with the host was easy. Perfect place for couples or family…lots of activity on the lake and friendly neighbors who liked to chat.

My two friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Little White Cottage. As described the Cottage was on Chippewa Lake and we experienced beautiful sunsets every night. Check-in was seamless and the kitchen met our needs.

Perfect getaway

My wife and I needed a quiet getaway, not too far from home, and this was perfect. The listing doesn’t lie, the sunset was AMAZING!

It was delightful. Picture gorgeous sunsets, wafting live music from the restaurant a few doors down (but not too late), a cool breeze off the lake, and the ability to put in your kayak just a few feet away. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and the house was stocked with everything you could need. There are also cute, eclectic shops 5 miles away, the ruins of an old abandoned amusement park for an adventure, and endless water fun. Did not want to leave it was so peaceful and relaxing.

Wonderful stay on Lake Chippewa

Such a perfect location, right on lake and walking distance to a great pizza place - the Village Inn. Lovely sunrises and sunsets, and kind neighbors. Love the high ceilings and the house layout. Such a happy space - many thanks!

Exactly as described

A group of moms and daughters stayed here for a few nights, and it was perfect. Plenty of space, very clean, gorgeous sunsets, and close proximity to the venue we were in town for.

CHIPPEWA COTTAGE

It was a very nice experience in this beautiful cottage. We teuly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The veiw of the sunsets were amazing. Thw place was well decorated and very clean and cozy.

Lakeside getaway

The contact was easy, the home was very clean, and had a warm feel to it. I wouldn’t let it deter you from going, but the neighbors do not like outsiders. There is a lot next to the home, owned by someone else, and while the neighbors fish and hang out at the shore line, “it is private property”. Couples getaway just to enjoy time alone 100% bringing children 50/50.

beautiful place

We had a great time; the place was big and beautiful. Our grandkids had the funniest time. We had plenty of wash clothes, and towels. We were able to grill out and had a fire. We difficulty will be coming back.

Charming doesn't cover it

This place is charming but so much more. The personal photos from the family are so cool, the lake is beautiful, the cottage is cute, cozy, warm and welcoming. The owners are very responsive and helpful. If I could give them more stars, I would.

Sisters Weekend

The cottage was very nice. Beds and showers were good. Lacking some kitchen items, i.e. dish towels, pots/pans. The grounds were very overgrown and outdoor chairs needed repair or new ones. The location of the cottage was wonderful. Very nice view from everywhere as long as the neighbors didn't have their camper next door. All in all a great stay.

Cute cottage in a great area

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and her 3 friends. They were attending a concert at Blossom Music Center. We loved the location—quiet and peaceful, and not too far from everything. The concert venue was about 40 minutes away, and we absolutely loved the nearby town of Medina. You should be aware that the loft bathroom by the king bed is closed off only by a room divider. Not a problem for my husband and me, but it could be awkward for some. In our case, the girls all slept in the downstairs bedroom and claimed the downstairs bathroom as theirs, so it worked out fine. All in all, a great experience, and would definitely stay again given the opportunity!

Quaint cottage with an awesome lake view.

We were a group of 8 ladies out for a girls weekend. The cottage certainly met our needs. In reference to a couple of previous reviews: the winding staircase can be challenging but there is plenty of sleeping room downstairs. We did not see any spiders but we were there in November. However, it's not unusual to see spiders coming in from the cold in Northeast Ohio. Overall the cottage was very clean, although I was told the microwave needed some attention. Yes, the TV screen is not right. There was a privacy screen for the upstairs bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. I found the owners very responsive. I would certainly stay there again and will look forward to trying to book something in warmer weather. Quaint, beautiful cottage, awesome view. Would like to take advantage of that awesome lake and visit the Oaks and Village Inn when it's not too cold to walk :-)

Cozy Cottage

My boys and I enjoyed an amazing visit to Nicole’s cottage. It was adorably decorated and offered all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Both sons (oldest is autistic) have already asked when we can return. This was our ‘happy’ place as their dad loved the water. He’s deceased and I want to continue to do activities in his memory.The neighbors were very kind, too. We cannot wait to return. Thank you so much, Nicole!

A short but we’ll enjoyed stay at the white cottage

My wife and I came to the white cottage on the lake for our 24th wedding anniversary. It was quiet and quaint, but a bit cold since we got our 1st snow of the season. It took a while for the furnace and space heaters to get to a comfortable temperature, although it didn’t ruin the experience. We would like to come back in the summertime for a bit longer stay to enjoy the outdoor experience of the deck and maybe even the lake with family/friends. We also got to experience the restaurant nearby which enhanced our stay even more since we didn’t want cook with a short stay. The only suggestion I would have is, unless I overlooked it in website, it took me about 10 minutes checking each door numerous times for a keypad. What a sign of relief when I finally noticed the lockbox mounted to the front railing,. I was trying to surprise my wife for a romantic weekend away and I thought I got scammed. Nope, once we got inside and saw how nice and cozy it was decorated and how much it had a feel of home. We talked about sitting down with the owners to hear the story of their times at the cottage. We imagined it was their getaway retreat home for the weekends to waterski and enjoy the lake. My wife worked with someone who’s husband we believe skied on the same ski team and they probably know each other. Never having a honeymoon this place was perfect for us and we couldn’t recommend it enough. I wish we go there once a month for a mini retreat from the hustle and bustle of life.

SO RELAXING and BEAUTIFUL! Best sunsets and misty mornings ever seen!

WOW.. JUST WOW! We stayed 8 nights for our anniversary RELAXING vacation. We are an older couple with grown children looking for a quiet lakeside getaway to unwind. Since it slept more than two, we invited one of our children's family (2 adults, 2 teens) to say part of the time, and 3 other grown family members the other part of the time. So we had some nice alone time with changing out visitors that stayed a couple days each. Brought 4 kayaks. Used them EVERY DAY! Neighbors friendly. Nature galore, water nice to swim in and boat in, kayak in, fish in (we brought our licenses for fishing). Our host Nicole and her husband were so responsive and took care of anything that came up. Our bed downstairs was a full with a twin bunk, a little tight for me and my hubby headspace, but quite comfortable. Upstairs was a small spiral staircase that my husband and I did not use much due to our age, just be aware if anyone with mobility issues or larger, it was hard to navigate. Upstairs beds were comfortable as well and the space upstairs was so pretty and comfortable. The deck was great to sit out and watch the sunset and the lake, eat, sit and talk. Firepit was nice at night and the picnic table had another seating element to the outside. Many enjoyed the hammock and coffee area between the trees. Plenty of sitting room (FLOP room) in the living areas. Kitchen nice and bright and had everything. Really there was NO complaints and we had the best most relaxing and beautiful time there. We would book it again in a heartbeat! I discovered my love for painting at the cottage and lake and my husband renewed his love for fishing again. HIGHLY recommend for the BEST meal ever, Momma's Pickle Market and Eatery! Best anniversary dinner we ever had and were able to talk to the owners at length. One of our highlights of the trip. So book this if you can, it was a sweet relaxing gem.

Such a relaxing three days!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at your lovely cabin on Chippewa Lake. The lake was gorgeous! Sunrise, sunset and everything in between. We spent a lot of time on the wonderful deck over-looking the lake and watched the ducks, geese and herons. Sunset on the porch with a chorus of crickets was delightful! The cabin was cozy, cute and comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. Nicole was a wonderful host and was very easy to communicate with. Even the neighbors were nice! We will definitely stay again. Thank you!!
