Casa De Bonita is truly the perfect vacation home for families and group of friends. Located 4.5 Miles North of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye's bustling little town, this beautiful beachfront home offers tranquility, comfort, security and privacy; with stunning views of the Belize Barrier reef from the spacious interior of the home.

This is a 2-story home: the upper floor has 3 bedrooms including a master suite with a queen bed and private full bath, second bedroom with queen bed and half-bath and third bedroom with queen bed and full bath. The Master Bedroom has direct access to lounge room and sundeck. Third bedroom has a private veranda access. The lounge room in the upper level is equipped with folding glass doors which open up to the sundeck offering an almost unobstructed reef views. The lounge area is perfect for private celebrations with your group, day views and enjoyment of the Caribbean sea and breeze, or enjoying the nighttime view of the starry sky. The doors are equipped with an electronic shutter system to provide full privacy and shade at the touch of a button whenever needed.

The lower level has a spacious veranda with seating furniture, living area with smart TV, dining area with large custom table to seat 8 persons, full kitchen and a full bathroom. The fourth room is also located downstairs with queen bed.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for making a meal or having a private chef over to prepare a special meal infused with local flavor.

Washer and dryer closet is located in the lower level bedroom.

Casa De Bonita is also just a 15-minute golf cart drive from the popular Secret Beach.

SERVICES

The Paradise Management Guest Services team is available for any assistance needed during your stay. Our team is available to assist with all of your travel arrangements, golf cart rental, airport transfers, and any activities you wish to experience during your stay; whether it may be a fishing trip, inland tour or a massage on the beach. Our office is located in front of the neighbor resort, Indigo; and is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily. The property manager is also available to assist with any needs.

The prices for food items are significantly higher on the island than in the U.S. If this is a concern for you, you may consider picking up some items at the duty-free stores before your arrival to the resort.

Your dining experience in Ambergris Caye is sure to be delectable to your palate. Try some traditional fire-heart food, a Mayan buffet or experience international cuisine prepared with a Belizean twist. There is something for everyone. Dinner is served in Belize from 6:00 pm. TRANSPORTATION

Explore Ambergris Caye by renting a golf cart. Golf carts are the preferred means of transportation on the island and rentals are arranged by our helpful Guest Services team.

For added safety and peace of mind, a security is available on a nightly basis. Casa De Bonita is also equipped with an alarm system.

How do I Get to Casa De Bonita?

A 15-minute local flight from the International Airport, on the mainland, to our island is the easiest way to get to Ambergris Caye. These flights are available hourly. Local flight rates vary from season to season. Transportation from San Pedro's airstrip to Casa De Bonita can be arranged with our Guest Services team, at an applicable cost.

Our Guest Services team will book your local fight and coordinate transportation from the local airport to Casa De Bonita.



Do I need to exchange USD for local currency?

Belize's Currency is Belize Dollars. However, US dollars are accepted everywhere at a rate of 2 BZD for 1 USD provided the currency is not damaged (is torn or has writing on it)



Should I pay with cash or credit card?

Keep cash for small local purchases. Small businesses and street vendors may only accept cash. Most restaurants, grocery stores and gift shops, however, accept credit cards. Visa and Master Card are most commonly accepted but Amex and Discover are also accepted by some places. Processing fees and International transaction fees may apply and international transactions may be blocked for your safety so checking with your bank is recommended.



Is there anything I should about traveling with children?

The activities and tours are family oriented. Children can experience the same great adventures.

The U.S. embassy advises that If children are not traveling with both parent's, the U.S. birth certificate of each child may be requested by immigration officers along with a notarized letter from the other parent granting permission to travel. Adoption documentation and death certificates may also be requested where applicable. It is advised to check with the U.S. embassy and have all documentation in order prior to arriving at the U.S. international airport from which you will depart from.



ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Pack plenty of environmentally safe sunscreen and natural bug spray. Ambergris Caye is a sunshine paradise, however, since Belize is close to the equator, the intensity of the heat is more than most are accustomed to. Mosquitos are not uncommon especially after having rain.

Attire is very casual. Light cotton clothing help to keep cool. Sandals, slippers, sunshades, and sunhats are recommended.
