Absorb the lively atmosphere at Ripon Market Square, filled with independent shops, cafés and markets on Thursdays and Sundays. Head to the stunning landscapes of the Nidderdale National Landscape (24 miles) to spend long days outdoors, walking or simply soaking up nature. Venture into historic York (22 miles) to admire the famous minster and wander the narrow medieval streets of the Shambles, pausing to browse in the shops or dine out.

On arrival, step through the front door directly into the cosy sitting room and sink into the plush sofa after days out in the hills. It has characterful ceiling beams and a wood burner for cosy evenings in front of the Smart TV. At the rear of the cottage, the kitchen and dining area is bright and welcoming, with dual-aspect windows letting in plenty of natural light.
