There are plenty of eateries to savour the local food, including Beadnell’s beachside cafe, along with village pubs, restaurants and a bistro/cafe. Keen walkers can follow the coastal path to picturesque Seahouses (2 miles) and explore this bustling village, which offers a variety of shops and plenty of places for fish and chips or ice cream. From Seahouses, take a boat trip to spot wildlife on the Farne Islands. Further afield is Bamburgh (5 miles), where you can discover magnificent Bamburgh Castle and visit the Grace Darling Museum.

Step into this gorgeous property, set over two levels, and you are greeted by relaxing, calming hues that reflect the coastal setting.
