Ask about SNOWBIRD RATES....Starting @ 1900 with discounts for multiple months. Venus has so many repeat guests each summer they wish they had never shared the secret of Venus by the Sea.

The living room has a sofa sleeper, so this is perfect for the parents and two small children. Your patio has a beautiful view of the pool courtyard and your walk to the beach is about 150 yards away. This unit DOES NOT have a beach view. It has a fully equipped kitchen and linens provided. If you like to be away from the crowds this is the place for you. It is on the gulf side of the beach. There are restaurants and shops within 2-5 miles but the beach is not as crowded as Destin. NO PETS, NO SMOKING OF ANYKIND IN UNIT & PLEASE DON'T LEAVE EXCESSIVE MESS. FYI, all reviews before Sept 2021 were with a different management company. I now self manage and have received all 5 star reviews. Also I have a 5 star rating on the other platform.

Great location in Ft. Walton

The condo was super clean and perfect for my family! It was a great location to the beach and our kids enjoyed the pool! Will definitely be booking again when we come back!

Great apartment!

We enjoyed staying at Donna's place. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet location with a pool and close to the beach. We will definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay in this home. We enjoyed the nature and visits from the deer. The house was welcoming and clean, and we loved all the personal touches. The hot tub was so nice, and the communication and customer service was superb!! Thank you!

While I appreciate a 5 star review I believe there is a mistake. I'm guessing no deers and definitely no hot tub.

Location Location Location!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We loved the location! It wasn’t crowded but still had a lot of fun things to do close by. The owner was very nice and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful little piece of heaven

This property was so clean and very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the patio and the pool..we were less than a 2 minute walk to the beach . We didn't want to leave!

Great vacation rental

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as described on the website. It was very clean and comfortable. The beach was easily accessible. Ms Donna was great and quickly responded to any questions. We will definitely stay here again.

Donna was a wonderful host. She was accommodating with our request for early check in.We had the basics to get started. The porch overlooked the pool, perfect for coffee in the mornings. Short walk to beach. Clean pool.Location was nice. We could easily get into Fort Walton, or run down to Destin. Would love to stay again.

Great budget rental

This is obviously a budget, older unit but overall stay was awesome. 1 min walk to the beach. Could get rid of the carpet... but other than that I wouldnt change a thing.

Thank you for taking to time to leave a review. I appreciate your comment on the walk to the beach. I try hard to give an accurate description but guest feedback is even better. It is an older property but I wish you would have commented on it's cleanliness and the condition of the furniture. Bedroom furniture is only a few years old, it has new TV's and a new bathroom vanity. Overall I try to keep things in the unit in good condition. As for the carpet I am not a fan of tile but will admit it's probably time to replace at the end of the summer.

Fantastic Stay, and short beach walk!

My wife and I stayed here for just a few days to getaway. And we had a wonderful time! Property was lovely, and so close to the beach! Donna was awesome! And so responsive! Only thing I would say, make sure to remember to put a parking pass on your dash, so you don’t get. Warning!!

We had an amazing time during our stay. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Donna was so easy to contact if we had questions. She even texted to check on us our first night. The neighborhood had everything close by including grocery and discount stores. We definitely plan to return.

Nice older condo steps from the beach

Older condo, fine for 2 nights for 2 adults and a teenager, but the mattress on the fold out couch badly needs replacing, my daughter slept on the couch itself instead. Condo needs a bit of updating, but was worth the rate we paid for it. Walk to the beach was easy and there is a shower and hose on the backside of the condo to wash off when you return. Pool areas was nice and it was a lot less crowded than Mirimar Beach where we usually stay.

Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with me. I generally do a little bit of updating each year, but based on your review I will look around to see what needs to be done. The bedroom furniture is about 4 years old and the new bathroom vanity was added 2 years ago. This is definitely an older property but it is well maintained. As for the fold out couch, I have to say I have never found one to be particularly comfortable, but it's great for little kids. My adult son also just sleeps on the couch.

Great value and experience

We stayed 8 nights at the Venus condos unit 207. It was very nice and clean. The carpet and furniture was in new condition and very comfortable. The bedroom was very clean and inviting as well with nice decor. The unit was very roomy and felt like home. The kitchen had everything you would want and the balcony overlooked the pool. I was also surprised how with how close of a walk the beach was. We were very happy with the property and would recommend to anyone. Donna was great to work with and quick to reply by text.

Property was exactly what we expected.

Great condo for 2 people, close walk to the beach. Very Clean! Now the bad part, HomeAway was terrible to work with. Customer service treated my wife terrible when asking to honor the original posted price. Try to find this property listed somewhere else would be my suggestion.

Guest was correct that the original process was not as smooth as it should have been which was partly my fault. I did everything that I could to reimburse him financially for the confusion and gave him every opportunity for a full refund. I was pleased to see that he gave me a fair review in spite of the original circumstances. Based on the first part of his review please give my unit a try I think you will be pleased that you did.

A pleasant time for the entire family

The entire family had a great time. From the early check-in, for planning dad To the short walk to the beach, for relaxing mom. To the pool, for our little mermaid To what my teenage son called a "great condo" Every member of the family was pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay at this property. Donna was friendly and provided us with valuable information about the area. The property was clean and had everything you needed. I was pleased that the owner game us a heads up about bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to eliminate the need for purchasing those upon arrival. The beach was easily accessible and not very crowded. My only wish was that the water pressure in the shower was stronger. I have long hair and it makes it a bit of a challenge to get the soap out. I would definitely stay here again. It was a pleasant experience!

Great place!

We spent 4 nights and this property was great for our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids). Clean and comfortable. Near but not on the beach (just a short walk). There is a laundry room on the premises but no change machine.

I worked for the Venus management company for over 10 years. When I saw how much people love this place I wanted to own a part of that. The beach is my FAVORITE place to be. It's the only place I can truly relax. I want people who come and stay in my unit to feel relaxed and refreshed at the end of their stay. I know many people who stay here have been coming for years and I hope that my unit will become a favorite of yours too. I have a 4.8 rating on other platforms.

I cannot say enough about the family atmosphere. There are people who made friends as kids in the courtyard and now they are bringing their children. In this small environment people make fast vacation friends, unlike the large condos where you only pass by people in the hallways. Since it doesn't have a beach view it is more affordable but you still walk the same distance to the beach. Who really sits in their room all day "looking" at the expensive view anyway?
