This house is a one story, two bedroom, one bathroom house with a queen and single bed in one room and a queen bed and single bed in the second room. Full kitchen, screened porch, fireplace, walking distance to Egg Harbor marina, shops, restaurants and galleries. All linens, towels, blankets, pillows, etc. are provided. There's a great market located walking distance from the house. Egg Harbor is a great central location for day trips to the many sights and activities on the Door County Peninsula.

Very nice and clean house. View of the water was very nice. It is close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Parking was a bit challenging, but it worked.

Lovely cottage with great location. Walkable to harbor, shops, and restaurants. Screen porch had perfect airflow and nice view of the harbor. We couldā€™ve spent hours out there if time had allowed! WiFi/internet access was spotty, but a big storm had just come through so unsure if unusual or not for this location.

The location was perfect and I had been aware that it was an older cottage with older furnishings, but it got very very hot with just the one small, old, window air conditioning unit for the entire cottage. Thank goodness a storm brought in cooler air and I could open 1/3 of the windows that had screens, and use fans to move the air. Loved having the big porch and a yard! Plenty of space for a family and includes kitchenware. Outstanding location; when I was there the other cottages were very quiet also (which may not always be the case?) A bit on the musty side, like many cottages of the past.

Short stay, big impact.

This was the third time Iā€™ve stayed in this cottage and have enjoyed every stay. The inside is immaculate, the yard is well kept. The location couldnā€™t be better. Itā€™s private, yet walkable to shopping, bars and restaurants and a nice view of the bay and marina. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

Door County Vacation

On arrival it was difficult to find because of an almost alley way access. It was an older house with older appliances and electrical outlets. It could use some updates and had spotty Wifi. It was a little hot at night and had to rig a fan to push the air from the window A/C unit in the living room to the bedroom we were in to be comfortable. It had a great view of the water.

Charming home situated perfectly for walking in Egg Harbor.

My mom and I stayed in Egg Harbor for a week and really enjoyed the location provided by this home. The home has lots of original features from the time it was built. Emily was an attentive host and helped problem solve the WiFi signal with us. We very much enjoyed the stay.

Great Location, Cute Place

Great location in Egg Harbor! Lovely walks down to the marina and to Main Street for shops and restaurants. There was an issue that the Owner immediately solved and we appreciated their quick response. The only issue was that there were little bugs in the bathroom that came in overnight. Not harmful, just clearly needed a little extra caulking or sealant to keep them out.

Great place in an excellent location

My family had an excellent time staying here. The house was spacious and clean. The property is surrounded by trees so it feels very private even though you can walk into town within minutes. Very convenient. Also, thereā€™s a great view of the harbor.

Lovely and Simple -- Just what we wanted

The cottage was sweet and simple. Don't stay here if you need some of the extras because the charm is the simplicity. I wish the view of the water had been just a tad more -- but the walk to the marina for sunset was superb and easy. We will totally return.

I was born and raised in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. I went to grade school in Egg Harbor (the current location of the Egg Harbor Fire Dept.) and attended junior high and high school at Gibraltar H.S. in Fish Creek, 5 minutes north of Egg Harbor. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and have been involved in a family business my entire life--the Alpine Resort and Golf Course in Egg Harbor. After 100 years of ownership, we have sold the business to a new owner. My family continues to rent our eight vacation houses in Egg Harbor seasonally. I have two adult sons and I live in Sturgeon Bay, about 20 minutes south of Egg Harbor. Door County has been a great place to grow up and live and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to remain here on this beautiful peninsula. I love to swim and boat and fish in the summer. And I enjoy skiing and ice fishing in the winter.

This house is located on a property with a nice lawn area and is available for rental only from May 1 through late October. It is lovingly cared for and maintained and has beautiful woodwork and a granite fireplace. The house was built by my family and has always been in the family. My family also built two more houses like this one close by with the same floor plan. I love the spacious living area and dining room of the house. And it's location on Whitecliff Road is really great. Whitecliff Road is a quiet road that runs north along the shoreline from Egg Harbor to Juddville. It has private summer homes with lots of access to the water.

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

I love the airy living room and fireplace. And the screened porch facing the marina is wonderful on a warm summer day. If it gets cold in the evening, the fireplace provides great warmth. And it's easy to take a quiet walk along Whitecliff Road, walk out to the shoreline, and enjoy the view.

Many of our guests stay five to seven nights or longer. We are open to longer term stays. If you are interested in an extended stay, please contact us.
