NOTE: Max occupancy is 14 guests over the age of 5 years. Guests 5 and under do not count towards the occupancy limit. Due to an allergy in our family we are not able to host any animals. If you do bring an animal to our home, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500+ to have the home cleaned by a professional allergen removal company.

Our second home is located in a subdivision of Montgomery Estates. It is located right off Pioneer Trail (we do get street noise on one side of house) so it's easy to head to Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe. The house was remodeled in 2018 and has over 3800 sq ft of living space with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. We are 2 miles from Heavenly, 3 miles from the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. Located nearby are hiking trails and access to Trout Creek.

Our home is a spacious 7BR/4.5BA located right off Pioneer Trail. The main living area has 55" HD TV. YouTubeTV is provided. The first floor has been furnished with all bamboo flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a good sized island and stainless steel appliances. We have a 36" cooktop with chimney hood.

The small deck has a 8 person hot tub with 88 Jets and a waterfall. There is also a propane grill available on the deck. We have a full size pool table with a ping pong table top. We have lots of books for those that like to read and board games for those that like to play. In the dining room, we have a multi-Arcade system that includes 10+ games including Joust, Defender, and Mortal Kombat.

Six of the bedrooms are located upstairs while the last bedroom is converted from our study room on the main floor. All 4 full baths are upstairs while there is only a half bath downstairs. The sleeping arrangements are as follows:

Bedroom 6 - T/T T/T bunk beds w/ streaming only TV

We have 3 exterior cameras located on the property. The cameras have views of the 3 entry points to the home (driveway, front door, back deck). There is one room that guests will not have access to that is used to store our supplies.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Very convenient location, very comfortable and well-supplied. Luke the owner was very responsive to inquiries and helped make everything easy. The 5-year old in our group loved the video game, and several of the rest of us loved the pool table. We'd definitely return to this home given the chance.

Great stay in South Lake Tahoe

Overall was a great stay and the group had a great time. The location was central to all of our destinations through the extended weekend. The check-in process was simple and had plenty of space for our 10 guests. Would definitely stay again if I’m back with a large group.

Great location & very spacious house

Tahoe lodge

This property was as advertised. It was clean upon arrival and just what we needed. We had a group of about 15 or 16 people with 4 couples and it slept all of us comfortably. The layout was nice and everyone had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Tahoe!

Big House & Very Clean

The house is as advertised. Easily fit our group of 15. It’s in a great location. 5 min drive to town. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again if we ever visit south lake again.

family reunion

We had a great stay at Luke and Sue's beautiful home. The house is more than big enough to accommodate our group of 15 people. We enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, and of course the hot tub was the talking point. the bedrooms are cozy with comfortable beds and the kitchen is well equipped. Thank you Luke & Susan for a great stay and we will definitely come back.

Spacious and clean come to mind! Kitchen was well-equipped and there was plenty of parking space for our large group. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was so nice to have TWO master suites. My only complaint was that the beds were not super comfortable and there were not enough blankets to keep warm at night. I would absolutely stay again!

Roomy House Convenient to Heavenly slopes

Lovely home in nice neighborhood close to shopping, skiing, and Lake. Responsive owners to minor problems. My family of 15 stayed comfortably. Even had a lovely real looking artificial tree that took 5 minutes to set up and take down. We hope to return in future.

Great stay for larger parties wanting to see south Lake Tahoe

Stayed here over memorial day weekend with a party of 16. There was plenty of bed space and a set of linens were provided for each bed. The place was clean and provided a grill, hot tub and many kitchen amenities. Plenty of parking space with a 3 car garage and driveway. Place is about a 10 min drive from South Lake Tahoe city area and 20 min drive from the Lake itself, so plenty to do in the area. Honestly no complaints whatsoever! Thanks so much to Luke and Sue for letting us stay at their place.

Graduation celebration

We had 16 family members come from all over for our daughters graduation celebration. The house was awesome! Very roomy and the ping pong and pool table were the life of the party each time we were back from our daily activities. The location is great as we were far enough from the lake but close enough to get there fast. We went to emerald bay easily and also went to sand cove beach by incline village and it was super easy. All in all great experience and Luke and sue were highly communicative and made everything so simple. We had a blast!!!!

I have been renting in Lake Tahoe for foi fifteen plus years & never had such a bad experience.

I wrote a letter to the owners explaining all the problems we had & have not hear from them , after many phone calls!!

This review is not fair. In fact we attempted to call the guest the day they sent their complaint and the number they left went straight to voicemail so we left a message. We also sent them a message in VRBO to contact us at our phone number. In the end they finally called us back a week later but it seems this review was submitted at around the same time. We did come to an agreement on the issues they brought up and many of the issues could have been resolved during their stay if they had contacted us during their stay, but ironically, their own communication was lacking both during and after their stay.

Not clean

Overall, the stay was okay. When we arrived the blankets smelt of body odor and had stains, so we had to re-wash every sheet, blanket, and pillowcase. There were pubic hairs on the window sill in one room, stains on sheets and mattresses, the wifi went out the second day we were there, and the bbq grill was not clean. It was not cleaned very well for our arrival so we had to do extra work on our own time after a 12 hour drive. We cleaned it better than we found it so the next guests will be able to enjoy their stay.

Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry that you felt that things could have been better. The sheets and blankets were cleaned prior to guest's stay. Guest did not notify us that the wifi was out so we ended up only finding out after the guest left. We do ask that you let us know about any issues during your stay so that we can do our best to address them.

We purchased this vacation home because it is a beautiful property in a beautiful area of South Lake Tahoe. We are no more than 5 miles from anywhere in South Lake Tahoe. Also from spring to fall, we can see all sorts of fauna such as birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and rabbits in the front and back yard daily. We've tried to furnish it so that it will be convenient for families with kids like our own. We hope to spend many days here as our vacation home and hope others can get to enjoy it
