Forest house with fruit garden by Rø Plantation

At the southern edge of Rø Plantation you'll find Hus Grønly, a natural oasis surrounded by forest and an impressive fertile landscape. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and perhaps be visited by the local deer as the sun sets over the garden.





The bright house features an open floor plan with three distinct areas: a spacious living room, a cozy dining area and an atmospheric area around the wood-burning stove. On the first floor you'll find an extra room for play or work, and every room in the house has views of either the garden or the forest.





The 12,000 m² garden is a veritable pantry of figs, peaches, pears, apples, cherries and various berries. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy breakfast in the sun or gather for an evening meal under the stars.





The house is a short distance from the charming town of Gudhjem with its vibrant harbor environment and local restaurants. Explore Rø Plantation's trail system, visit the less-traveled beach at Gudhjem, or take a trip to the Bison Forest where you can experience the majestic animals in the wild.
