Cabin #8 welcomes guests to an open concept living room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings and natural wood accents throughout. The living room features a natural wood burning fireplace and new furniture, perfect for ending your evening after your lake or trail adventures. A large screen porch is just off the kitchen, facing the lake, a perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktails as you watch the wildlife right outside your door.

Cabin #8 is a one story cabin that boasts of comfort and charm with all three bedrooms updated with new mattresses, furniture, and luxury linens. The kitchen has also been perfectly appointed to cook and host meals while you enjoy your lakefront vacation!

Pine Haven Resort is the perfect destination for family, fishing, snowmobiling, biking, and cross-country ski vacations. The resort has an excellent beach, and private docks for guest use and is right on the groomed snowmobile trail! Vilas County has over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails to explore that connect to another 1100 miles of trails in Oneida County!

Little Saint Germain is one of the most popular fishing and recreational lakes in the Northwoods with over 950 acres to explore. Reel in a Bass, Pike, or Walleye, or simply paddle through the pine-encompassed bays of the lake to witness the soaring of eagles and glimpses of deer as sneak the lakefront. Pontoon and motorized watercraft rentals are available for rent and free delivery through Hiller Vacation Homes!

Great place and location

Everything was great with this place. The only thing for others to be aware of, it lists it would sleep 9 people. That would be extremely tight with this place. We only had three so everyone had there own room. Great place and a great location. We would come back here for sure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the fourth year in a row that we have rented a cabin from Hiller's. Everything is always SO clean, well stocked and our time spent is always memorable. From the beautiful scenery (overlooking the lake), the colorful trees, the abundant wildlife (deer, chipmunks, squirrels and eagles), to the ease in checking in and out, to the very nice nearby grocery store and restaurants - everything is perfect!

Snowmobile Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay at the Hiller vacation site. The cabin we stayed in was absolutely fantastic. Everything was clean and well kept. The cabin was situated right on Little St. Germain Lake. There was firewood for the fireplace. We rented snowmobiles from Paul’s Rentals which was just down the lane from our cabin and the Loonatic’s Bar and Grill was a great place to eat. We would highly recommend this resort.

October weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our rental experience was very good. Our only "complaint" was the dishes available. There were four VERY HEAVY square dinner plates and four VERY HEAVY salad plates. There was only one cereal sized bowl. There was only one teaspoon. There used to be a set of Corelle dishes for eight people. They were nothing fancy, but at least you had enough for everyone. And they were not so darn heavy. For a cottage advertised to accommodate up to 8 or 9 people, the dishes come up short. Again, not a reason to not rent this cottage, but it would be so easy to fix and make it better for renters.

There were some lights that did not work and the blower on the fireplace was noisy. General directions with departure could have been a little clearer around where the trash goes. Only other suggestion would be to have the wifi password posted in the cabin. But overall very nice..View was awesome!

Another wonderful time at Hillers!

Check in has been streamlined so there is no need to stop at the office to checkin. We have been going to Hillers for many years and look forward to many more!

Relaxing at the Lake

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The staff were very helpful. The lake is a real northern Wisconsin treasure. The cabin was dark and disappointing. We were especially disappointed in the kitchen layout, the malfunctioning refrigerator (something wrong there) and the quality of the kitchen equipment - plates, pots and pans ... The TV remote was missing but the staff quickly got us a new one.

But the past few years have been disappointing. Nice upgrades, sure. But also Incredible rate increases. This year we had water issues: iron contamination that made the water nasty. Low water pressure. The place isn’t as personable as it once was. Just not the same anymore.

Hillers Pine Haven cottage 8

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wanted to send a quick message to let you know that we enjoyed our first trip to your resort. Cottage 8 is very nice and lived up to our expectations. We didn’t really have what I would call problems. I would like to make a couple of suggestions. The showerhead needs replacing in the bathroom with the tub. Also, the kitchen would greatly benefit from some undercabinet lighting. I emailed and stopped at the office to let you know about a safety hazard. The light that is on the lake side of the cottage is out. Also all of the landscape lighting is out. The steps on the lakeside leading out of the cabin are very steep and that combined with no lighting is just asking for someone to fall. It seems like a quick fix but it didn’t happen. Also, our last day, Friday was completely interrupted by lawn mowing, weed eating and constant leaf blowing. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other on a day that we were paying for. July week at Hiller's

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this cottage for 25 years. Since the vacation properties company came into being, we have noticed a steady increase in things being old, broken, etc. The fan in the big bedroom did not work, had to take it apart and were able to get it to work when 2 of us worked on it. Didn't want to call maintenance because heat index was 95 and didn't want to wait. The kitchen sink doesn't drain properly, maintenance came and left and never told us if it was fixed, needed parts or anything. he just left. later that day, the septic was pumped. sink still didn't drain and the cottage smelled like sewer for about 6 hours. toaster stopped working on Thursday, a new one was brought late in the day. toilet in small bathroom always sweats and a towel needs to be put on floor. dresser drawer bottoms in the 2 smaller bedrooms have gaps in them. reception on TV was very snowy.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall was large and clean. Very nice. Good location overlooking the water. Fishing was poor. Table benches on back porch were very light. One end would teter is someone was not at the other end. You had to plan you seating at the table, which is kind of a hassle and dangerous. The office people sold our week already for next year (2021) and never gave us a choice at the end of our week. The week was just taken from us. Usually you have at least one week for first choice but the week was gone by the time we got home. Beware of this sales tactic. We made our original reservation in November of 2019 so it had nothing to do with the Corona Virus. We had plumbing problems that were addressed immedicately.
