Frosta—a unique location by the fjord

Recharge your batteries at this unique spot, just a stone’s throw from the sea. Here you can swim, fish, go for walks, sign up for a diving course, shop at Frosta’s kitchen garden, or play golf.Take a trip to historic Tautra, spot unique birds in the bird sanctuary, or enjoy the night sky filled with stars and the Northern Lights right from the living room.
A 60-minute drive to Trondheim. 40 min. to Levanger and Stjørdal/Trondheim Airport. We have 4 sleeping spots in the winter and 6 from May through October. In the summer, two people can stay in the boathouse.Close to boat rentals and the pilgrimage trail!

The space
The property is located right on the water’s edge, with access to a rocky beach. Here you can go fishing, take walks in the woods, go mushroom hunting, or enjoy other activities in the forest and by the water. You can experience calm, sunny days with pleasant weather, but also full-blown storms with fierce waves on the fjord. All equally beautiful!

Free parking is available on-site.
The house/apartment has two bedrooms, one slightly larger than the other. Both rooms have double beds. In addition, we have the Naustloftet, which sleeps two people and is available from April through October. The entrance is on the far right side of the house, but there is also an exit leading down to the lake.
Fully equipped kitchen.
We have a hot tub, which can also be used in the winter. However, it is important to familiarize yourself with how to use it. It is a requirement that everyone shower before entering the hot tub. Please let us know if you plan to use the hot tub.

Please note that some of the photos were taken in the summer, but it’s important to know that the garden changes with the seasons.

There is also a coffee roastery in the buildings, but this will not interfere with your stay.

Guest access
The entire apartment, with the exception of private closets. These closets are marked “private.”

The house has a fire alarm connected to Verisure, which has also installed a camera in the living room. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, you can cover it up when you’re in the house, but it must always be accessible when no one is there. Also, remember to remove the “cover” when you leave.

The boat moored by the patio is NOT for use.
