NEWLY REMODELED

Located in Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club Estates at the corner of Fort Stanton Road and Alto Drive, just 1 mile north of Ski Run Road and Ruidoso Winter Park Tubing and 5 miles north of downtown Ruidoso. This quintessential mountain home is the perfect place for family vacationing or a weekend escape. Gather several couples and sit around the fireplace to watch your favorite football games on the wall mounted 70" flat screen TV located in the Great Room. Sit on the front deck or gazebo and enjoy the beautiful views surrounded by large ponderosa pines or the back deck and spacious back porch provide a quiet place to relax or grill and dine outside. Soak in the peaceful private surroundings where wildlife abounds - deer, elk, wild turkey and other animals frequent the area.

This two story lodge can be accessed via outside stairs or the back door is available at the ground level from a paved parking area. It offers three large paved parking areas and an attached single garage. A full size washer and dryer are located in the basement.

The home offers 4 bedrooms with wall mounted flat screen TV's in all rooms, and a sleeping loft. The two bedrooms on the main level have King beds with new mattresses. On the second level there are two additional bedrooms with 1 King size bed and 1 Queen size bed with a new mattress. There is also a sleeping loft with a daybed & trundle.

The large living/dining room combination features a 70" flat screen TV. Ample seating is provided with a dining/game table which seats 6, a kitchen bar which seats 5 and a party bar which seats 4 additional guest.

Do not forget to check out the game room with a Foosball Table and Dart Board. And a XBOX with Kinect and a lot of games for your kids to play in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Also make sure to check out our hand-carved totem pole out front. This house also has central AC and heat and a beautiful rustic fireplace with gas logs.

Main access roads to property are well maintained during winter storms.

Wedding Weekend at Noisy Waters

This was the perfect place to stay for our daughterā€™s wedding. We had more than enough room for 3 adult children and a spouse. We enjoyed sitting out front on the great deck in the morning with our coffee and looking at the gorgeous view. We took a few walks around the area and saw the wild horses several times. Stuart was super helpful and got back to us right away when we had a question. The house was very clean and had all of the things we needed to have a perfect week.

Secluded

If you are looking for a place outside of and close to Ruidoso at the same time, this is it. Great front porch for coffee in the mornings and even a night cap. Secluded somewhat from neighboring houses. Spacious indoors equipped with everything you need. Great spot down the road to hang out (Noisy Water Winery) in the afternoon too. This is where we want to stay when coming to town.

I sent a message to the property manager with the issues we found. Too many to list here. The house itself was nice. It was not clean inside or out. Looks like it had been a while since anyone had been there. Needs interior doors repaired/replaced.

Where are the doors?

This is a lovely house, but it is somewhat dated. One room had a sliding door completely missing. The bathroom sliding door was difficult to open and shut. We enjoyed our stay but would pick another home if we ever go back.

Modern Cabin

We had such a nice time, everyone wanted to hang out at the property instead of head into town. It felt like a cabin w/all the modern conveniences needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The place was super clean and the owner was very accommodating. The environment was magnificent and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for visiting w/each other and created such a relaxing atmosphere for morning coffee or an evening drink. The kitchen was fully stocked w/all the cooking supplies needed to make your meals and serve our party of 8. We didnā€™t want for anything the entire time we were there. I will specifically seek out this property the next time we plan on staying in Ruidoso bc of the location, the cleanliness and the open floor plan which was perfect for hanging out all together and catching up w/each other. Iā€™m hoping next time itā€™ll be open for a winter visitā€¦ Iā€™m sure it would be even more beautiful surrounded by snow.

Great trip

We very much enjoyed our stay in Ruidoso- especially sitting out on the porch watching the deer. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our family, which included 3 couples, 1 teen, and 1 kid. I gave four stars because some of the pocket doors in the house didnā€™t work. The two bedrooms on the lower floor both had door issues- 1 didnā€™t close all the way and the other was missing a door altogether- something that I would have liked to know ahead of time.

Great time in the cool pines

Had a great stay during a family reunion. There were 6 of us and plenty of room. The kitchen was perfect for our breakfast and dinners. Appliances worked great and had all of the kitchen equipment needed and then some. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings with cocktails and seeing the deer walk right up. Stuart provided all checkin information and was available for all questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Getaway

The experience of the stay was amazing. The house was very nice, clean, and comfortable. It had everything that you need and the location was great. Just a short drive into town and very close to good restaurants. Booking was very easy and the communication with the property manager was great.

Dream Christmas Getaway

Given the awkward year, I knew I wouldnā€™t be able to see all the people I usually do for Christmas. I got my cousinā€™s family to come with us from TX to NM. 5 stars on every item isnā€™t enough. The cabin itself is gorgeous, the layout works great, the bed space is phenomenal, and the addition of the Christmas tree and decorations topped it off. It is located near all the activities but still where you will see deer, elk, and wild horses romancing near the cabin. It comes very well stocked (and we left any non-perishables we didnā€™t use for the next crowd). We were able to make a full Tex-mex Christmas dinner. We played game after game at the round table and warmed up by the gorgeous fireplace. The owner was super responsive , kind, and easy to work with. You could really tell he wants the people who stay there to enjoy the cabin as much as he does. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking in this area.
