With great views to the Sea of Cortez, and centrally located in the East Cape of Baja California Sur, the Hacienda de Palmas is a boutique style bed and breakfast in the small town of La Ribera, Baja California Sur Mexico. Whether you are here for the great fishing and recreation, or just need a place to call home while visiting friends and family, the Hacienda de Palmas is ready for all your accommodation needs. The Hacienda de Palmas can accommodate larger groups, and the garden patio area is a great place to have special gatherings and stage events.

The six private rooms of the Hacienda de Palmas are spacious and clean. Most of the rooms are located on the second floor, and have their own individual style and decor. Each room has a mini fridge, new inverter style air conditioning, fans and bathrooms (with body soap, shampoo and conditioner), towels, etc.

We also have a community kitchen that guests are able to utilize during their stay between the hours of 7am through 8pm.

The property has a large outdoor courtyard, heated outdoor swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor propane fire pit.

Great atmosphere and great personal service are just the beginning of what we offer at the Hacienda de Palmas.

We truly enjoy living in La Ribera and being an important part of your visit to Southern Baja.

Wonderful

We had an amazing time at Hacienda de Palmas and exploring the east cape. Jason and David were beyond personable and very helpful in making suggestions for our travels. The bnb has lovely outdoor landscaping and many places to rest after a day of exploring or eating your breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying at this charming BnB when exploring all that the east cape offers.

Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hacienda de Palmas, it was the highlight of our 3 city trip. Jason and his father created a very hospitable atmosphere, the courtyard is a great place to hang out, and the room was perfect for us. If we ever find ourselves back in BCS, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks Jason and dad

Would 100% stay here again

The place was like a little oasis. Beautiful flowers, humming birds and a heated pool. After spending the last week+ camping on the beach in my van, this place was a god send, but it would be even if I wasn't camping. The property was lovely, David and Jason were kind, and their property dog, Monica was super sweet. My puppy loved her and they played each other out which was perfect to let me relax a bit. I absolutely would book this place again if I found myself in La Ribera.

A gem

This is a gem of a Bed and Breakfast. It is clean, quiet and the grounds are beautiful! It is walkable to most everything you need, restaurants, store and the beach. It feels unspoiled and remote enough to appreciate the culture of La Ribera. Jason answered endless questions with patience and a sense of humor as did David. We love Monica and Theodora! ( the resident pup and cat ) Breakfast was just right and the other guests were always friendly and interesting. Lots to see and do as day trips. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Hacienda de Palmas in La Ribera. Jason is the perfect host: super helpful, does everything to make your stay perfect. The hacienda has everything you want and more. The inner courtyard is gorgeous, it is clean, and comes with a mango tree, turtle pond and outdoor bbq. we just loved hanging out in the courtyard: it has a table in the sun, another in the shade. We loved playing games on the upstairs patio with views over the ocean and the perfect spot for star gazing. The room and bathroom were super clean and kept clean with a daily cleaning. We will be back!!!

Muy tranquilo

My family and I recently spent a weekend at Hacienda de Palmas and loved the experience. Jason and his dad were most personable and a fund of good information. The accommodations were clean, fully functional, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our favourite place, however, was the courtyard. Shade trees, flowers, abundant bird life, burbling fountain, multiple comfortable seating zones - a serene place to enjoy the sunset. We plan to visit again soon!

What a little slice of paradise! Jason and his dad must be the most down to earth , unflappable couple of gringos running a sprawling oasis that offers all the pleasures available.This quirky hacienda feels like a wacky home away from home. Breakfast in the large kitchen is like visiting a friends pad and making it your own.The other guests added another level of amusement, everyone joining in on the banter making the start of the day memorable. Jason offered great suggestions as well as a pair of flippers that we were short. A great place to pass through! Thanks guys.

Gem of La Ribera

Our stay was excellent. The property overall, has a great ambiance. We would stay there again without question as well as highly recommend it. The owner is welcoming and available for any questions an/or recommendations of places to explore or restraunts to experience. Excellent breakfast as well!

Love this place!

This year was our second stay at Hacienda and we didn't think it was possible to surpass our previous experience. But I'm here to tell you it just doesn't get any better than the Hacienda De Palmas. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The bonus with this room was the attached library room - my husband is an avid reader and the book selection was outstanding! The weather was great although a little windy but we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and listening to the waves crashing on the beach. It's a short walk to the beach for those that like peace and quiet and privacy. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by our host Jason who sees to your every need. Coffee and continental breakfast shared with other guests at the community table in the courtyard was one of the highlights of our stay as we become friends with the other guests during our week long stay. Hope we are able to return again next year and enjoy this beautiful property.

A wonderful week at the Hacienda de Palmas

My husband and I spent a memorable week at Hacienda de Palmas. Jason, our host, was wonderful - He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and accommodated our every need. The room (Library) was comfy with plenty of space to spread out and was kept very clean. The courtyard setting was beautiful and perfect for spending time with the friends with whom we were travelling. Jason provided a generous daily breakfast (lots of coffee!) and we appreciated the use of the kitchen to prepare other meals. We would return to the Hacienda de Palmas if we found ourselves in La Ribera in the future and would definitely recommend it to others.

La Ribera get away

We love the Hacienda, it is a traditional Mexican hacienda. It is quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. Jason is always making improvements and is a great host. This is our third year staying here and we will be back.

Cabo Pulmo trip

Patty and Jason are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. Patty prepares a breakfast of fruit and yogurt that just what I wanted. They are constantly improving the facilities. Soon they will have a jacuzzi as well as a shady patio with a fountain. Jason told us exactly where we needed to go to catch a bus to La Paz when our stay was finished.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very kind and helpful and the room was spotless and better than expected. The hotel had a beautiful garden area and lots of interesting art and Mexican decor. We loved going to the nearby beach and the two local restaurants served delicious meals.
