Between you and the beach are many of Cherry Grove's charming shops and restaurants, including entertainment at Beach Video and Books, groceries at Boulineau's Foods Plus, and savory seafood at Flounders Fish House.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great place

We love the coziness of this house and its short walk to the beach. We stayed here several years ago and the new (to us) updates have made the home even more comfortable. The only hiccup was that the cleaners were still when we arrived, but we were able to get in about 20 mins after check in so not a big issue.

Great place

This was our second time staying here. Great location and cute clean “beach cabin” as my daughter calls it. The first time we stayed we had an issues with the washer/dryer. When we came back this time I was happy to see it had a new unit. However the day before we are set to leave it stopped working. Unfortunately there wasn’t any breaker box to be found to try and remedy the issue. Other than that everything about this place is great!

Myrtle Beach Getaway

The stay was great. We only have 1 issue. It listed that there were 3 twin beds, but there were only 2.

The outside of the property was great. Nice deck and well landscaped yard. House is in a great location. The inside sunroom was nice. However the other rooms (bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms need a complete remodel. The house is dated with dark paneling. Not modern at all.

Short visit for golf

We spent most of our time here on the sun porch, after finishing our round of golf and shopping. We were surprised that there was no dishwasher. We had trouble decoding the electrical service, and were not tech-savvy enough to get online to contact the owner. Since our stay was short and we were gone most of the time, we got along fine.

Cherry Grove Cottage

The cottage was as described, cozy. We loved the sunroom and the outside patio was nice as well. The bedrooms were a good size. We loved the proximity to the beach only 2-1/2 blocks! The main drawback was the advertisement of “2 bathrooms “. It was really 1 true bathroom, the second “advertised bathroom “ located in the main bedroom consisted of a toilet and small shower that was added into what was formerly a closet with no privacy hence no door only a curtain. That removes the privacy of what is expected with a bathroom. As noted this was the main drawback otherwise we loved the home and the location. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in the cottage for our first trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.

Property was great, close to everything.. vacasa not so much

Wanted to check in an hour early.. called vacasa and was told (after a 15 sec pause)... nope, cleaners are still there. They weren’t, we were in the driveway.. no way the 800 number clerk is talkkng to house cleaners.. so we had the lock box code from the app and went ahead and let oursleves in... very nice cottage, 4 min walk to the sand. Only complaint is that it’s not 2bd 2 ba, the master bath is inside the room... they converted the old closet into a bathroom then put in free standing closets making the room smaller but allowing thenm to technically calm it a 2/2... very strange.. would rather have just the one bath, the original closet, and more room in the master... also there was a slight bug issue (summer in the south) with baby roaches.. didn’t see any big ones but we are going to recommend they spray to get ahead of it.. the sitting room was great with spectrum and all the channels for that mid day break.. ame stocked with coffee maker, coffee, and filters so u don’t have to walk down the block and spend $ first thing.... master bed was very comfortable... overall a great place, just a wierd master bath set up..

Homey and cozy!

We had a great time at this little beach cottage, it was not a bad walk at all even with three little ones! Love being super close to the grocery store, several good eating options within walking distance and easy pick up! The back porch was perfect for morning coffee and for our kids to play on. The kitchen was well stocked although I totally should’ve taken coffee filters! Oops!

All that we hoped for

This lovely little cottage was immaculate, welcoming and in just the right spot. It was a short walk to the beach but a very quiet neighborhood. There were so many things to do nearby and the home is set up perfectly for relaxation with a well-appointed back deck, sunroom and comfortable living room. Cherry Grove Beach itself was phenomenal. Clean, safe, and not too crowded to enjoy ourselves, even on the Fourth of July weekend. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed. It was the best vacation we've ever had. The bed in the master bedroom felt hard, but I slept soundly and woke up refreshed and feeling well in the morning. I have back pain and had just spent 8 hours in the car, so that's saying something. The gas grill was out of fuel but a call to Vacasa had us fueled up in time for dinner. We didn't use the fire pit on the back deck, but it looked nice. Vacasa even sent someone out to put the garbage can out by the curb Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. The kitchen was very small and we had to keep our food organized on the counter because there is not room in the cupboards. There was no dishwasher, and strangely no potholders. The stove, oven and fridge were excellent and we used the ice and water dispenser on the fridge door a lot. Great water pressure and a seemingly endless hot water supply. There is also an apartment-sized washer/dryer combo that worked well for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
