Many things like the hot tub, outdoor pool were closed. Very difficult when you have a big place to accommodate 2 vehicles. There were no reasonable solutions to parking the 3rd car.

the balconies were ABSOLUTLEY disgusting

The balconies were absolutely disgusting with dirt and bird droppings everywhere. I had to clean at least one of the balconies to sit and it still was not clean enough. They need to be power washed. There was blue painters' tape on the wall in my room from a scuff mark that was never addressed prior to our arrival. There was also a bleach stain on our comforter. One roll of TP in each restroom, so make sure you bring some or use one square per use. Parking is a nightmare so if you have more than one car with a group you will be parking on the seawall or you will be towed away. They are militant about everything. It is almost insulting for the amount of money you pay for them to be the way they are. Understandable that you don't want outsiders who do not belong there but seriously. The owner is strict about early checking even 5 minutes prior is an issue but not strict enough for the state of her balconies in her condo. Beach access is also a nightmare, definitely not handicap accessible.

Girls weekend

The property itself is beautiful, so was the penthouse. Definitely would stay there again, although there are a few things I would like to see changed and know about before we arrived. The balcony dirty the rugs out there were old, and it needed to be cleaned up. I donā€™t like the fact that weā€™re responsible for all toiletries, extra toilet paper, extra paper towels. They provided one roll of each and each room, and one thing of paper towels. I didnā€™t know this until we got our information a day or two before we left. I do understand that people take advantage. But when youā€™re coming from out of town and have to go buy all this, it can get pricey. Just add it into the cost of the room per night. The view is incredible, the pool was nice and clean. The lazy river pool was relaxing. Youā€™re right by the Beach which is awesome and you can exit the property and go on the side of the beach that is private. I highly recommend this place just a few little things to be fixed but other than that it was a great location and we had the best time!

Diamond Beach

The location and facilities are great. This was our 3rd year to stay; our 2nd in this unit. The unit is really nice. Having a large pool area and lazy river on site are reasons we keep returning. My complaints are that numerous lights/lamps were burned out with no available bulbs. The unit has two balconies but the sliding door to one side was broken. My biggest complaint is that there is minimal hot water. Being first or last to shower made no difference. To say the water was Luke warm is being generous. The water in all bathrooms (4) was cold. The kitchen sink would not even warm up. Cold showers are not enjoyable after a long day. It would have been great if the hot water had worked. This would have been 5 stars for everything if that had worked correctly.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Itā€™s a beautiful and spacious condo. The resort was really nice. Everything was very comfortable. I especially like the the 2 sitting areas in the condo. We enjoyed the theater, kids room and game room as well. We did have 2 negatives. The tile floor was really dirty when we arrived. The bottom of our feet and socks were black from just walking around. On our second full day when all of our family had arrived there was an event going on and the outside game area was reserved all day with about 30 extra people. So the lazy river got pretty crowded and there was no where to park after we went out for lunch supplies. We had to park on the sea wall. The event offered a bar so we did get to enjoy flavored ice treats. But that was our only full day with our entire family so it was disappointing that we couldnā€™t take advantage of any of the outdoor games. But overall it was a great weekend and the condo was very comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Love Diamond Beach

The condo furniture was nice and comfortable. A couple of hiccups with the TVs but we were only there for one night so not a big deal. I cannot comment on the kitchen appointments as we only ordered in. One toilet didnā€™t work but there were plenty so we just didnā€™t use that one. All in all a great stay!

Awesome Condo !!!

The condo was awesome! Perfect fit for our two families. Had everything you needed for your stay. Checking in and out was easy. Front desk staff was always a pleasure. Since it was cold outside we enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tubs, arcade, and even watched the Daytona 500 in the theater room. We will surely be guests again !!

Great Location, Beautiful Property.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location. Easy access to beach. Great pools. Excercise center is amazing. Beautiful views. Perfect for our family gathering. Only negative were the beds and the linens. Both could use an update. But not bad enough to give a lower review. I would fully recommend.

Great condo for groups or family traveling

The property was just as pictured and the view is fantastic if you're looking for waterfront. Layout of condo especially good for group travel as each bedroom has its own bath. Needs some very minor fixes in showers (dripping and loose fixture). Check in time is very short window, so plan accordingly. Lots of information shared by email about the property and rules/guidelines.

What a view!

This is an incredible rental. The view is amazing, the resort offers so much to do, and the condo is beautiful. The listing does not do this condo justice. The unit is very well supplied with kitchen ware- much better than our past 3 rentals in Galveston. Our 4 days flew by and we are already trying to find our next trip dates!

Best Family Vacation Location!

This was such a perfect location and it had amazing space! The views were stunning, Diamond Beach Condos are definitely the way to go when coming to Galveston either as just a husband and wife trip, or as a family trip. Even though the property was absolutely stunning, we had some issues with the water getting hot the first couple of days, which was kind of frustrating when you have a household of people, including 4 kids that need to bathe. Also, this condo was lacking bare essentials, they gave you one garbage bag to start off with, and one toilet paper roll per bathroom. Also the kitchen didnā€™t even have the bare essentials you need to cook with, there was no oil of any kind when we were wanting to cook a meal. The sheets in all the rooms were very pilly and needed to be thrown out, and the towels were ratty. I just think when you are paying this much for a condo things like this should be addressed, and a must. But aside from those things, the space was amazing! Everyone had their own full bathroom and area of the house. The views in the morning were so stunning, and the location I give an A+! We walked on sea wall every morning, we swam at the pool every day, we walked to the beach, and we walked across SanLuis pass to get our coffee every morning. It was a blast and the best family vacation we have ever been on! I just hope they are able to address some of these things, if so, we will definitely be back every year.

Decided to stay at last minute with extended family for the holiday weekend. The complex is amazing. Weather was cold but beach views were great and we took advantage of all the amenities such as the theater, game room, workout room, and indoor pool.
