Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Great Getaway for Families or Adults!!!

Amazing property with tons to do! There are both indoor and outdoor activities and games. The game room and bar will keep you busy all weekend with pinball, pool, poker table, shuffleboard, darts and video games. And outdoors there is ping-pong, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, trampoline, wiffle-ball, swimming, jacuzzi, fire pit, hammocks and more! There are over 20 TVs throughout the house, both indoor and outdoor and the sound system is top notch.

We have an excellent cleaning crew who is very diligent in their efforts to wipe down all surfaces and make the home as clean as safe as possible. As such our bookings are starting to increase and we have not had to offer any discounts.

The kitchen is well-stocked and has a Viking range. There are 6 separate bedrooms with king or queen beds and 4 separate bathrooms. The front yard is huge and the rock pool and backyard have a tropical setting.

A great property for adults, but your kids are also welcome!

Events and/or larger gatherings of more than 12 require pre-approval. We typically allow no more than 15-18 at the property, as it is too much wear and tear on the home. And please do not invite guests for the day, as we don’t want more than 12 people there at any one time. We do make exceptions, but please ask and most likely we will approve and add an additional fee. (There is a security camera in the front to keep track of all who enter and exit). We also allow pets, but they too require an extra fee. The home is quite secluded with lots of privacy and most guests don’t even leave the property all weekend! It is truly a great experience and a lot of fun.

We had a wonderful time! The game room is incredible - we played darts, pool, video games, pinball, and the poker table was perfect for board games. The pool was also a big hit - the kids (and adults) had a blast jumping off the rocks into the deep end! We also enjoyed the big front yard with the trampoline. It was hot, which was great for pool time, but the central AC kept the house nice and cool.

Great Staycation

We stayed at this amazing property over the 3 day Memorial Day weekend. Had a baseball tournament for my son and decided to make it into a staycation. The property had tons of things to do and play... the kids didn't even touch their video game systems they brought. Basketball, baseball, ping pong, shuffle board, darts, pool and video games/pinball kept us busy all weekend. The pool was clean and hot tub was very easy to use. All of the electronics were easy to understand and use which made the trip that much better. We were able to wash baseball uniforms as well in the laundry room between games. Will definitely stay at this property again the next time we have a tournament in Temecula.

Swarms of bees untreatable and unavoidable in heat-- limiting pool, jacuzzi and eating outside

Upon arriving, we were stoked with gorgeous front yard with hammocks, etc. Gorgeous home with lovely furnishings and well stocked beach towels, floats, balls, TV's, video games, game tables. Kids were very excited about pool, but many drawbacks: and a few other disappointments so can only rate a 3! 1) Swarming bees in the pool/jacuzzi wall. We asked owner to eradicate before arrival, and they said they would. Arrived and everyone uncomfortable going into pool. Wrote owners to no avail except saying they go for water! We burned incense, citronella, scooped bees from pool, and had to run inside during BBQ'ing due to bees on food. 2). No railing into pool for those with less mobility and steep slope on shallow end. 3) No hair dryers--kinda unusual! 4).Hard finding outlets to recharge phones. 5). No downstairs' bedroom! Granny flat in rear somewhat difficult to walk to and very outdated and dark. So, had to do steps w/difficulty with Parkinson's and small dog & luggage for us in our 70's Place not really that suitable for elders w/challenges. 6) Sheets kept popping off master bedroom bed and bed sloped. (see pic in different bedroom, so pics need to be updated showing accurate location of beds/furniture. 7) Rental is more appropriate for families and young crowd-- who are more techy to handle the 20-30 remotes, TV's, music, etc.. 8) Clean house but 2 dog messes on front lawn upon arrival.. 9) Well stocked kitchen and towels. Thank you for so much FUN!

We REALLY enjoyed our 2 night stay. Too short a stay to max the features of the property. My family says "Good times had by all." Loved the pool (gets shaded in afternoon - we brought noodles & floated) and the spa was beautiful too. Evenings in the BAR room with billiards, darts, epic shuffleboard, pinball... WOW! My dog LOVED the front yard with lots of grass and gated so secure to run free. We would love to stay here again!

A fun family getaway for humans and dogs

With so many things to do for adults and kids every day was filled with joy and laughter. The house has features that made our stay comfortable--ceiling fans outside and in almost every room, lots of space so the family could spread out including a separate small casita (with queen bed and bathroom) for grandparents to retreat, stacks of towels for use throughout our stay, a reasonably stocked kitchen (if you have particular utensils/tools/knives that are important to you, bring them). We only left to go to the grocery store. The pool and spa got lots of use as did the game room. It provides an array of activities that all kids and adults enjoyed--even the 4-year old was not left out. We really appreciated being able to bring our two dogs. Their (supervised) play on the grounds was a treat for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. PS Just in case anyone is particular about such things, it's helpful to know that cars are parked outside only, no garage is available.

Fun Oasis

We had a group of 10 guys in their 30s stay here for a fantasy football draft weekend. As others have said, the photos don't do the property justice. There is so much to do here between the game room, pool, basketball court, and TVs everywhere. This place really had everything we wanted - it seemed like every time we said, "I wonder if they have..." we were able to find what we wanted (poker chips, kitchen items, balls, etc.). And it's nice that the property is so large and fairly isolated. No issues with noise or parking or anything else. Really a great spot to just hang for a few days with a large group. A previous recent review mentioned some bees by the pool. We encountered the bees too, but they mostly left us alone (no one got stung) and they went away in the evenings. We'd go here again if we were in the area.

Great property but don’t expect to use the pool

I would’ve easily given this property a 5 star rating if two things were better: 1. The pool didn’t have swarms of bees just hanging out on the rocks for the better part of the day, essentially making it uncomfortable for anyone to use it until the night. BUT we would only use the jacuzzi at night because the property owner wouldn’t activate the pool heater even though it was possible! For the nightly rate we were being charged, one would think heating a pool on colder days/nights would be allowed, especially when day time usage is pretty much out of the question on account of the bees. The only recommendation regarding the bees given by the property manager was to place a wet towel over the rocks where the bees were congregating…it did NOT work. There were just too many of them. 2. The cable on the TVs in and outside of the bar, where we mostly hung out, mostly did not work. We had to rely on the roku and chromecasts that we brought to get a couple of the TVs to work. We couldn’t figure out the TVs outside on the patio. The property manager didn’t have any suggestions for us either nor did he really offer to help. Overall, I’d recommend this property because the front “yard” is great and spacious and the rooms are comfortable, BUT our group felt cheated because it was not worth what we paid given the issues noted above.

Amazing place to stay!

We had 10 adults and two pre-teen children. Everyone enjoyed the stay we agreed wasn't long enough. The house was very clean! The size of the house is amazing, Our favorite place was the game room which was perfect! The pool and the hot tub was wonderful! Jeff is a wonderful host. Thank You!

Fantastic time, didn't want to leave!

As so many others have said, the photos do not do this property justice. It's hard to capture in photos the size of the property, and how great the amenities are. My children barely left the game room, and have now become skilled shuffle board players. It was too fun crafting playlists on the jukebox for us to listen to indoors and out. And despite the cooler weather while we were there, the fire pits and hot tub made it the perfect experience. And everything was clean and well taken care of. The owners were very responsive to texts and helped us quickly with a problem we had. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Incredible Home & Hosts

If you're look for the perfect group getaway, this is it. So much space and activities, we only left the house to get food/supplies. TVs in almost every room, including bathrooms. The hot tub/spa was excellent and although it was too cold for the pool it would be terrific in warmer months. Mark and the other owner/hosts were just terrific, incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

Amazing Property

As most people have said, the pictures definitely don’t do it justice! As soon as we drove through the gate we were in awe! We had a group of 12 for Thanksgiving and they had everything we could need. The kids loved the trampoline and the pool and the adults loved the game room and bar! This home had everything we could want and more! Very impressed with how the property has been kept up! We stayed 4 nights and we still didn’t want to leave. Will most definitely be back!

INCREDIBLE

The photos do no justice to this house. It is an absolutely amazing space. The pool area is so tropical and beautiful, the indoor/outdoor bar couldn't be more fun, and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. I cannot recommend this place enough, and our group is hoping to come back every year!

BUNCO!

Fun time for me and my bunco playing friends. Lots of space to move about and enjoy yourself. We mostly stayed in the awesome backyard/pool/jacuzzi! Great place and easy to work with host! Thank you Mark!

So many fun things to do

I have stayed at a lot of vacation properties and this property had so many games and things to do it was incredible. We spent most of our time by and in the pool and in the game room bar. The game room is like nothing I have seen in a vacation house. It had pinball, pool table, shuffle board and a video game machine with classic games. We all just kept moving around and doing different games and played as teams. Most of us never left the property and the front yard is huge. Our dogs thought they were at doggie Disneyland. The pool was so nice and the jacuzzi worked great. The kids spent most of their time in the pool. Also my nephew was shooting hoops most of the time on the half court. Perfect for everyone. Ages 77 down to 11.

Amazing House, Lots of Amenities

Had a wonderful stay with great hosts. It was scorching hot but we were still able to utilize the house to its fullest. Highly recommend, just maybe not in the toasty summer months.

Beautiful & Clean Vacation Hime.

Weekend get away for my wife’s 50th bday. We had a blast. Everything you need for entertainment is on site. The bar room was out of this world. We had such a great time, we will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely love it !!!

House is in a great area , clean and plenty of things to do around the house. Outside is well kept and the kids were easily entertained. I would recommend this property for a getaway with friends and family .

Amazing House

This house is great! There’s so many great features to keep your group entertained, especially the game room at night. I also liked that the house/furniture didn’t feel cheap like many other Airbnb/vrbo properties. Apparently the owner lives next store and there were a few cameras in the backyard. Those are the only two negatives I can think of.

Great place to stay!

Our group had a great experience at this home! We would love to visit again. The main problem was the bees that we encountered. We know that they are part of nature, but they took over the jacuzzi during the daytime. This is the main thing that needs to be addressed! Other than that, the property was great!

SWARMS OF BEES – JACUZZI/POOL UNUSABLE FOR 11 DAYS

When we arrived at the house, we noticed a swarm of bees covering the Jacuzzi and shallow end of the pool. I immediately called the house manager, Mark, to ask him to get an exterminator right away. He said that they had previously had multiple exterminators but no one could find a beehive. I insisted that they needed to do something. The owner, Jeff, came out the next day and put chemicals in the jacuzzi and salt around the border which did absolutely nothing. Five days after we arrived, a friend of the owner who was supposedly an exterminator, finally came over and just put vinegar in the jacuzzi with no effect. Throughout this time, the owner didn’t seem too concerned that we didn’t have use of a pool/jacuzzi. He just said that he was doing what he could. Supposedly, on the sixth day we were there, the exterminator said he set up bee traps but there were none on the property that we could see and the bees only got worse as the weather got warmer. For 11 days, our 14-year-old daughter (and us) were extremely upset that we couldn’t use the pool, which also had dead and half dead bees floating throughout the pool every day. There were also 2 days we couldn’t use the adjacent basketball court because my daughter was too scared to play when the bees were also flying in this area. After our trip, we contacted the owner asking for a 20% credit, which would have decreased the cost to $1,200 day, a price that we thought was fair for a house without a pool. Also, not having a pool had a major negative impact on my daughter, since we weren’t going anywhere during COVID. The owner obviously knew he had a problem before we arrived and didn’t inform us that the pool would not be usable. HOWEVER, THE OWNER DIDN’T EVEN CARE ENOUGH TO ANSWER 5 TEXTS WE SENT REGARDING A CREDIT. On the positive side, the house has lots of activities to do as a family and would be a great place for a family reunion (assuming the pool situation is taken care of). The grounds are beautiful. In summary, renter beware, because the owner does not seem to feel responsible for providing his house in a condition that a renter would expect for the money they are being charged. He obviously felt no responsibility or empathy for our negative vacation experience.
