HOME IS CLEAN & AVAILABLE, the calendar is current and up-to-date! Stunning views from this beautifully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms home located above the Umpqua River in Elkton. Both bedrooms include the award-winning balance of softness and support with the Casper bedding products (mattress, sheets, pillows and duvet). Both bedrooms have in-suite full bathrooms connected to their own individual water heater. Both bedrooms include ceiling fans, recessed lighting, in-wall air condition, blackout honeycomb blinds and direct access to the outside deck facing the river. Home offers high-speed WiFi internet, whole house water filter system, 75" flat-screen TV. Streaming TV programming only via the high speed fiber optic. Living room includes Ashley Signature Design Bristan Sofa & Chairs (3), coffee tables (2), end table, ceiling fan. Well I guess you can’t be perfect forever! So after hosting travelers since 2018, we just received an 8 out 10 review rating from this traveler stay. No reasons/problems identified from their review. I even reached out to find out what was wrong at the house during their stay, no response. ALL my reviews since 2018 have been 10 out of 10! We even have a perfect traveler rating on the “other” vacation rental website! Thank you again. This has unfortunately forced me to change my booking methods. I will no longer be offering “instant” bookings, sorry. I’ve changed it to 24 hour review. But if you request a booking, say during 7am-10pm, you’ll have your response very quickly. We look forward to hosting you at Burke’s River View!

Great location & perfect for our little winery tour

One of the most well appointed VRBOs I’ve rented. Also loved the location on the river and walking distance to everything. Communication with owner was great. Highly recommend!

Perfect girls' getaway

Great Girls Weekend Getaway

Elkton is a quaint little community with great wineries to explore. The location of this rental is a block off the beaten path and has a beautiful view of some Umpqua River rapids. The house is well stocked with everything you would need, the beds are very comfortable, and the entire feel of the place is peaceful. I will definitely be booking future stays for my own private retreats!

Enjoyed our stay

Everything was as promised and matched the photos on line. It was clean, clean, clean. Not a cobweb was noticed nor crumb or dust bunny. The town was a cute as can be. Listening to the Umpqua river from the deck was amazing. We are already planning when we want to return.

Perfect location!

Perfect home and location for our women's weekend! Beds very comfy, kitchen well stocked, home was very clean, beautiful deck with amazing view of the river. We walked 1 block to enjoy a couple of tasting rooms, fun gift and home store, and a great bakery. Large TV so we could watch a movie. Will stay here again!

Summer trip

Our first time to Elkton! Such a sweet little town. The property overlooked the river and RV park. RV park was clean and quiet and back patio had a clear view of river with grassy area of RV park. You can hear the river when you sleep. Property was one of the cleanest we’ve stayed at and Jerry was a pleasure to work with. Very attentive host and easy to reach. We will most definitely be back in years to come!

Lovely Home in a Great Location

We had a fabulous, peaceful stay at Burke's River View! Jerrry's place is wonderfully appointed, thoughtfully decorated and organized and spacious. The AC and integrated ice maker in the freezer were fabulous to have during the summer heat wave. The online pictures don’t do the interior justice—it looks brand new inside and looks like a professional stager decorated the home. The well furnished back deck was a perfect spot to enjoy the sound of the river. We enjoyed walking to the quaint town for breakfast and ice cream. We would definitely recommend this gem in Elkton and will stay again!

Weekend Getaway

Loved our stay! The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook a great meal. The beds and pillows were so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of bed and the view of the river was just perfect! The cute little patio set made our mornings with coffee and evenings with sunset/wine picture perfect. Can’t wait to come back this summer! Thanks for a great little getaway!

Quiet Getaway

The house had a nice layout with a bedroom and bath at each end of the house and with the kitchen and living space in the center. It was very clean and comfortable as promised! Check in at 4pm was fine but check out at 10am was too early. Understandably, the few places in town had limited hours due to Covid.

Wonderful communication and place

Jerry is an amazing rental coordinator! He made sure to communicate clearly so we had the best stay possible. The deck was our favorite part and the beds are so comfortable! This is our second stay here and we booked it again.

Awesome venue

My family loved the cabin and it was fun just to be there and enjoy such a nice place compared to hotels. Loved the sound of the river. We for sure will return and that says a lot from someone who has traveled for years for work. A very different small rural town experience.

Great cabin with a river view

My friends and I make a yearly fishing trip to Elkton. We've been doing this for years and this is the best cabin we've stayed in. Very clean and the owner is easy to work with. We'll stay again next year.

Another Great Stay!

So much to like about this property and they expanded the deck area. Great to have a place to come back and rest in comfort, take a shower and do a load of clothes after fun days on the river. Within walking distance to all the restaurants in Elkton. Owner is super helpful and responsive.

Currently a licensed Real Estate agent with Keller Williams Realty in Southern California. Voted San Diego (California) Magazine's 2016-2020 "Five Star Real Estate Agent".

As I mentioned above, I grew up in Elkton. Visited many countries during my 21 years in the US Navy. Always so nice to "get away from it all" when coming home to visit family who still live in the area.

Furnished the home keeping in mind all the things that were always important to my family when we travel. The forever sounds of the river rapids are amazing. Will be using as a second home and a vacation rental.
