3 bedroom 2 full bath home on Castle Rock Lake with private pier, walking distance to Northern Bay golf course. 30 minutes to Wisconsin Dells, ATVs trails right at end of driveway, two boat launches within 2 blocks. Central air, internet tv, washer and dryer. Outdoor grill and fire pit. Ample parking. Upstairs bedroom 1king bed, bedroom 2 has a queen bed with sofa sleeper, lower level can be 2 twins or king. No pets and no smoking inside.

Wonderful Host and Place

We really enjoyed our stay! The lakefront view is beautiful and the home fit our needs for a long weekend. The host was extremely responsive and great to work with!

Nice Cabin

This is a very nice cabin right on the water with a nice boat dock. Very nicely decorated and comfortable beds. There is also a nice golf course right down the street. We also found the Tiki Bar at the resort next door with some good live music.

Weeklong Summertime Stay

Exactly as posted. Beautiful views & sunsets. Great access to the water, even including a place to dock our pontoon. Lake has plenty to do, or the opportunity to do very little. Beds were comfy, amenities were plentiful, very thoughtfully hosted. Would absolutely stay again.

Father's Day getaway

We had a great time at Kris's cabin. The cabin was big enough for our family of 6. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, seeing fabulous sunsets, and having bonfires at the firepit. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Kris responds to any questions or concerns quickly. I would highly recommend this lake house.

Beautiful cabin in the pines

We loved our stay at Kris’s property on Castle Rock Lake. The cabin had plenty of room for us and another couple and was perfect for swimming, fishing, and sitting around the fire pit (there are actually two). Clean and cozy the cabin has a large deck and room to lounge and eat outside on the shade of the tall pines. Lots to do in the area, including hiking, horseback riding, and biking. But we pretty much hung out in the lake, which has a nice sandy bottom and clean water. Kris was super responsive and helpful—a great host! We’ll be back!

Exceeded Expectations

This was our first Vrbo experience. We definitely overpacked not knowing what to expect. They had everything you could need for a cabin experience. They even provided bug spray, sunblock, and showering products. Next time we wouldn't have to bring nearly as much stuff (bedding, towels). Only one small hiccup, they accidentally gave us the wrong entry code but it was resolved. We are planning on doing it every year now.

Friends getaway

Despite the weather not cooperating and having a couple of issues with our boat, we made the most of our extended weekend. House is nice, deck area is perfect for early morning coffee and evening cocktails.

Beautiful property!

Our annual girls weekend was a success. The deck was our main hangout. We loved the view in the morning sipping coffee. Everything was fabulous and spacious!

Weekend getaway with friends

We had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing with our friends at this location. The house, deck and yard were very nice along with a working propane grill and the pier was perfect for us to leave our boats at during our stay.

Beautiful house on a fantastic lake

This is a great house to stay at. Very well maintained and very up to date. The owner (Kris) was super friendly and answered all my questions. Everything we needed was provided and then some! The location is great. It's in a nice quiet area that makes you fell like you are in the middle of nowhere, yet it is close to everything you need. We brought our boat with and really enjoyed the use of the dock. The location of the property on the lake is great because the area around the dock was much calmer that some of the areas to the south. and the sunsets on the pier were unbelievable. This was our first trip to Castle rock Lake, but it will not be our last. Great beaches and sandbars. The fishing was also very good, The one thing I'd point out is the lake has some very shallow areas and they are not marked the greatest. Don't let that keep you away, just be aware and I recommend that you seek out some local knowledge of the waterway if you can get it. We were fortunate to know a local on the lake and he showed us the areas to avoid. Thanks again for having us. I hope we can stay there again in the future!

Very Nice Cabin, Excellent View and Great Lake Access

It's a very nice cabin, well furnished with all the amenities you would want. There's a good view of the lake from the deck, living room and bedroom. The private dock is great for boating. We really enjoyed our stay, and would certainly consider going back again.

Great place for a family vacation!

The house was simple and quiet with wonderful access to the lake. We enjoyed the boating, bonfires, and just spending time together. The owners were easy to work with and answered texts promptly. We are an avid water sports family, and found the lake to be plenty big but had to stay in the channels as it is very shallow in most areas up by the residence. We have an inboard boat which makes the depth even more challenging... Overall our family really enjoyed out time there!

So Beautiful! (Everything was!)

I grew up with a family cabin and then my children also had the same priveledge (they're now adults). This is the first time since it's sold that we decided to rent a lake home. I had no idea how easy and incredible the experience could be! We have never met the owners yet I felt like we were using a family cabin due to their generosity of sharing their home and personal belongings - however, their lake home is much prettier than ours ever was!. Kids went rock climbing (7 miles away), fishing (off the dock), swimming, and we just chilled. and enjoyed time together. The wildlife is beautiful as well! As an avid picture taker, I have photos of deer, hummingbirds, wildflowers, sunsets, woodpeckers, bunnies, cool looking insects and simply the beautiful nature... all without leaving their property. I honestly couldn't believe a place so nice was available for us to use. Absoluletly loved the home, the deck, the beautiful yard, gorgeous view and actually feeling welcomed to be staying there. Thank you for the allowing us to be there and for the new family memories just made!!
