5 Bedroom home located on crystal clear Paya Lake. Located 2 miles off of Hwy 32 between Mountain and Lakewood, WI. Watersports, fishing with access to public boat landing 0.25 miles down the road. Just a few miles from ATV trails, grocery store, sports bars, casino and gift shops.

The main level contains a spacious family room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, laundry room and atrium seating area.

The upper level is a private suite area with full bath, queen size bed, fireplace, and living room with private outside access.

The lower level contains another 2 bedrooms and a living room with walkout patio doors to the lake.

Stay at Paya Lake

This cabin is very nice. Lots of space and the lake is very clean. We love going there. This was our 2nd time.

Peaceful Lake

Family enjoyed all aspectes of Strawberry Hill! It is very roomy. We found we were never in each others way! Watching the hummingbirds at the feeder on the deck and the loons in the lake was a treat for all. Easy access to the UTV/ATV trails as well. Close to town if needing something. We would consider staying here again.

Strawberry Hill

Strawberry Hill is the name for vacation for my 6 year old grandson, who has been there the last four years. Accommodations great for our three generation group. A short drive to town yet surrounded by views of the crystal clear lake and trees. We’ll be back!

Best Family Time

My sisters and I had a wonderful time with our kids staying at Strawberry Lane. We did the paddle boat, rented kayaks and rented the boat for some tubing. The kids enjoyed swimming and laying out on the raft. We did a fire at night and just enjoyed the piece and quiet. The only negative was the WiFi is not the best. However, it forced our teenagers off their devices and enjoy the outside and each other. This was our second time here and loved every minute. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing

Great communication with Susie. Everything listed was as it should be. Property was clean and well stocked. She even had a binder of FAQs. 10/10 would recommend staying here. There are alot of stairs, even to get to main living areas. House had some accessibility upgrades which was nice surprise since we were traveling with elderly parents.

Grandma's House revisited

Years ago I would spend summers with my grandmother in Lakewood and at times took my children to visit the area. This year my wife and I hosted our children and grandchildren at Grandma's house also known as Strawberry Hill. It only took a few minutes to feel like I was at Grandma's house again. The was perfect with so many personal touches. The home is filled with all your needs like home. The kids enjoyed the raft and the many water toys they brought with them. I hope in the future I can revisit Grandma's house and have that feel good feeling.

One word- Smelly

Review Our family of 18 was gathering in Lakewood for the week. In addition to three other much smaller places, we rented Strawberry Hill with the intention that it would be the main hub and gathering place, as well as provide much needed bedroom space. Upon opening the door, we were overwhelmed by the smell of very strong air freshener. We all immediately commented that they must be trying to cover something up. The smell of air freshener on the top floor continued into the main floor, mixed along with something else that once we got to the stairs for the lower level could only be described as a mixture of sewer, mildew and musty. The two bedrooms down on that level were absolutely uninhabitable. We immediately contacted the owner, rather than offering to have someone check out the issue, the owner gave us suggested remedies, none of which alleviated the problem. Rather than it being the central gathering place for meals and games, the majority of the family members came one time to see “how bad it was” and then all couldn’t wait to leave. The owners utter denial of the situation was concerning and frustrating. I will also say that the check out process is the most labor intensive one I’ve had at a VRBO. Must wash AND put away all towels. Must run AND empty the dishwasher. Not an easy out on your final day. Luckily we weren’t in a rush because we decided to leave on Thursday since we couldn’t stand it in there anymore. I couldn’t get out fast enough.

Strawberry Hill offers something for everyone!

Strawberry Hill was a great location with plenty space for everyone in our group of 7. This Property offers something for everyone! Super clean lake, perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. 3 decks and a fire pit out front with a beautiful lake view. Susie was very prompt with our arrival information and was quick to respond Whenever we reached out to her.

Beautiful home with fun decor

Super stock of kitchen needs. Lake is clean and very clear. You need to be able to do lots of steps, though. We will return again.

Wonderful

The place was very spacious and well appointed. Held our group of 7 easily. Everyone had their own bed. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The use of the pontoon is well worth it. Needs a ladder though. The water was so clear and NO WEEDS. What an anomaly in lake life. The house smelled a little but was easy to deal with. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Great family vacation

Paya Lake is so clear and clean. Perfect for family fun, swimming, floating around, kayaking, pedal boating, pontoon rides and fishing. The home is spacious and was well furnished, although there was a lot of personal items, and there are a LOT of steps and maintenance needed on the back deck.

Paya Lake

Overall It was a nice vacation! Access to the pontoon was definitely a plus! The kitchen has everything you needed and more! Bathrooms were very clean. The main area and newer parts of the place were very nice. My elderly grandmother and toddlers were with us so the stairs were definitely a constant concern both in and outside of the home. There was also an unpleasant odor in the lower level and stained, outdated furniture in the seating area in lower level.

Family celebration on Paya Lake, Mountain.

We had a family celebration at our place on Paya Lake but didn’t have enough sleeping space to accommodate everyone. This rental property sleeps 14 and the owner worked with us so we were able to make it a social day. Thanks.

Paya Lake Retreat

My family enjoyed this clean,pretty,family home for our July vacation. Floating ,boating, and some fishing competed with our time playing cards and board games. Casino during Covid-19 was well regulated.The owner responded quickly to questions. We will return.

UTV/ATV trip

House is very nice. Right on the water . Lots of steps that was the only bummer. We had a few minimal issues and they were addressed right away. Had a great time!!

Very enjoyable stay in the Northwoods

My family and I stayed for a week at Strawberry Hill. The place was beautiful and very clean. The location on the lake was very close and handy. The lake was clear and beautiful. I would highly recommend this very spacious, lovely home for visiting. Susie was very accomodating and a gracious host. Thanks so much for a great vacation!

Loved it!

It was so much more than we expected. All was clean. We would stay again. Water was amazingly clear. Kids loved jumping off dock into the water. No beach but could walk in with water shoes. House had everything we needed. Owners are super nice to rent out this awesome place. Fun to see all the strawberries in the house. Can see it took alot of years to decorate it. Boating was fun too.

Amazing Family Lake Home

Thank you Susie for sharing your family's beautiful lake home and making the process so simple. My husband and I enjoyed it so much. It was PLENTY large enough for a great family vacation with lots of space for privacy too! The kitchen is so well appointed. Bedrooms (comfy beds) with beautiful ensuites and sitting areas. Decks (double) with views to die for. Separate outdoor patio seating. Awesome firepit! Beautiful landscaping!! Very easy access to the dock and water. Couldn't ask for more. We would LOVE to come and stay again!!
