Overlooking the seaside town of Souris, Colville Bay and the Northumberland Strait, A Sight to Sea Cottage offers plenty of picturesque scenery. Whether it is watching fishing boats or the Magdalen Island Ferry sail in and out of the harbour, paddle or kite boarders riding the waves off Souris beach, oyster fishermen harvesting their catch, seabirds diving into the ocean or the gentle night time lights of the town reflecting in the water, there is always “a sight to sea".

Situated on 5 acres of property in a rural quiet setting, A Sight to Sea Cottage is in a perfect location to explore eastern PEI. It is close to shopping, restaurants, golfing, fishing experiences and beautiful beaches. Sheep Pond Beach is a short walk of less than 10 minutes and the popular Basin Head Beach is a drive of less than 15 minutes.

Inside, the main level of this 2 storey cottage features a grand Island stone wood burning fireplace that is a cozy centrepiece of the home. The downstairs open floor plan features lots of big windows that overlook the pretty coastal setting and allow in plenty of light. The well appointed kitchen is equipped fully with everything you need. The main level is also home to a full bathroom and large bedroom with a queen size bed.

As you move to the second level, at the top of the stairs there is an open reading area with a couch, books and board games. Off this lounging space, a catwalk connects to an open loft area which features a sleeping space with a double and a twin size bed. This room comes complete with a shuffle board game table.

Upstairs you will also find a second large bedroom with king size bed. This bedroom connects to the loft sleeping area with sliding doors which can be conveniently left open or closed depending on your needs. This bedroom also connects to the upstairs bathroom. The bathroom has two doors, one which connects to the bedroom and the other accessing the open laundry area which houses the washer and dryer.

Outside, the cottage features a deck and covered veranda, with seating to enjoy the unobstructed water views. There is a BBQ for grilling and a fire pit with seating and campfire wood. For outdoor fun, a soccer ball, football, washer toss game, kites and frisbees are provided.
