This home offers direct lake access, three deck/patio gathering areas, and a private marina with dock and boat slip. The lower patio walkout is directly on the lawn for games and play, as well as fishing, kayaking and swimming all right from your yard! Located on beautiful Hebgen Lake 15 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone Park, and just minutes to a wide array of options for world class fly fishing, hiking and a variety of outdoor activities. This exclusive property is only available for guest bookings 4 times per year!

We are strict about our no pets policy - a $1000 fee will be assessed for violation of this policy.

Home Owners have set 11:00 PM - 8:00AM as quiet time, please be considerate. This is our family vacation home, please treat it as if it were your own.
Guests must complete and leave a signed check-out checklist. No camping on the lawn. Absolutely no pets or smoking allowed inside or outside the home.
Trailers and RV's are not allowed to be parked on the property or near Highway 287. Parking is for the 13 (limit) people staying in the cabin only.

A lovely lake house

The house is well built, well maintained and well stocked -- and beautifully located. The hosts are communicative and helpful - not that we needed any help. All was in wonderful order. We particularly enjoyed the patios and the kayaks.The little boys loved the lawn and the soccer ball. And it gave us easy access to Yellowstone Park. We'd all love to go back.

50rh anniversary family trip

Location on the lake was so beautiful! Large yard for kids to play. Easy acces to Yellowstone Park.Cabin had everything we needed . We had a wonderful time.

Yellowstone Log Cabin

This was a great property for our family to stay in. The owner had everything we would want in our stay. The property was clean and as stated within 15 to 20 min from the park. The owner was fantastic and I appreciated all her help and communication to make this special family trip a success. You know it is good when the kids all talk about it. Thank you and we would stay again if we are ever in that area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a lake and mountain view. So beautiful.

Beautiful!

This property and location were amazing. The house itself was well equipped and very comfortable for our family. The views out to the lake were gorgeous. It was so nice to have a yard to play in and an easy way to put the kayaks and paddle board into the water. The house is very well cared for. There were nice touches like little hotel soaps in the bathrooms and lots of towels. Comfy beds and furniture. Plenty of space for kids and adults to relax together and apart. Communication with the owner was great- Kathy was generous with her time in emailing info and has a binder at the house with lots of great local info along with detailed “instructions” for the house. The overall location of the house made it very convenient to visiting Yellowstone, shopping in West Yellowstone (small groceries, some cute shops and outfitters), fishing in Hebgen Lake and the Madison river, and even driving down to Grand Tetons for a day. I think any trip into Yellowstone is going to call for a lot of driving, so it was nice to already be fairly close to the entrance. Outside of the park, we took advantage of Parade Rest nearby for a trail ride and drove up to Norris Hot Springs - such fun! The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center was also a hit.

Absolutely perfect!

This was truly the best decision we made for out YNP trip. Twenty minutes to the west gate and fifteen minutes to plenty of stores for all our needs. The home was very comfortable and equipped with everything you will need! The beautiful view of lake is just the icing on the cake! We wouldn’t think twice to stay again on our next trip to Montana!

Family Vacation

My wife and I stayed with our two adult children and their spouses along with their six kids (6-10). The property was perfect for what we needed. The location was very convenient- near West Yellowstone and the park, but outside town in a beautiful spot on the lake. There are 7 or 8 cabins along the lake but this one was the only one with a sizable grass play area for kids. The cabin was very clean, spacious and very well stocked with all we needed. Great place to stay for a large group like ours.

Perfect Family Yellowstone Cabin

This cabin was ideal for our family of 9. Great amount of rooms, bathrooms and beds to accommodate our family of 9 comfortably. Fantastic views of the lake (amazing sunsets!) and a great bonus to have access to kayaks and a paddle board for activities. The cabin was conveniently located about a 15-20 minute drive to the West entrance of Yellowstone and downtown West Yellowstone which was perfect. Kitchen had all of our basic needs to whip up some meals at home and also fun to have a bar/restaurant walking distance from the cabin too. Kathy had great communication and was very accommodating for us.

Beautiful views, short ride to West Yellowstone Entrance/downtown

I would not have stayed anywhere else. We were right on Lake Hebgen and Earthquake Lake. We were only 20 minutes to downtown West Yellowstone and the park's west entrance. The house comfortable fit 10 people with lots of seating and a breathtaking view. We would stay here again in the future and highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

Only 15 minutes from Yellowstone National Park and easy access to Madison River for fly fishing!. Comfortable bedding, well equipped kitchen, good lighting, quality towels and linen. Good communication with owner on nuances of the property such as heating and trash disposal. Only minor issue is that there could be a bit more water pressure in the showers.

Well stocked home with stunning lake view

This is a great property with an amazing lake view. The house was very well stocked. Almost everything you could need was there and all the cabinets were labeled so you didn’t have to hunt around for things. We specially liked how clean the property was. Kathy was an amazing host too. She responded to all my queries throughout the reservation process and stay instantly.

We were absolutely thrilled with this cabin home! There was so much attention to detail, from the well stocked kitchen to the plentiful blankets and towels. It was obvious the owners take great pains to make sure guests have everything they need for a wonderful vacation. Just prior to coming here, we rented a nearly 7,000 sq ft home in Jackson. While the Jackson house itself was magnificent, there were many things that spoiled the overall experience, such as TVs that didn’t work, a lack of towels and lincomplete kitchen ware. Coming to this home was such a breath of fresh air! And the views! OMG! The unobstructed views of the lake and the snow capped mountains behind it were incredible! We loved watching the changing views throughout the day, especially when storm clouds passed over. We’ve rented many vacation homes through VRBO, but we think this home was the most enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Great place to star gaze

This is a gorgeous place with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. There was a pub adjacent to the property, which was a great place to hang out after a long day touring Yellowstone. There were two comfortable places to hang around outside and plenty of friendly neighbors to share a drink with. The house was also spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for visiting Yellowstone, only fifteen minutes from the west entrance. The place was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you would need for your stay. They left great coffee, wine, popcorn and candy as a hostess gift. They were very gracious and thoughtful hosts I would gladly stay there again and highly recommend it to any prospective renters.

Wonderful place on the lake

We had a large family group and it was so nice to be right on the lake. The adults fished right off the shore and the kids were able to put the paddle boards and kayaks in just a few steps away. The lake water was clean and warm. . The owner, Kathy, was very quick to respond to any of my questions during our stay. Only drawback was be sure on the number of guests staying. I messed up on my reservation and forgot to include 2 children 7 and 8. We had a total of 14 instead of 12 and were charged extra. My bad. I thought it was the same price up to the 15 limit stated. This was my first VRBO and I know to be more careful when completing the reservation form next time so there won’t be surprises.

We had a beautiful, telaxing, super fun

We had a great experience... the property was ideal.. situated right on the lake... we fished, paddle boarded, rented a boat and did tubing. We laughed on the decks and cooked our meals in the very well equipped kitchen... the rooms were all clean, comfortable, beautiful views and lovely... we are very lucky to have spent time here.

Great Location

We had a great time at the property and it sits right on Hebgen Lake. Place was great and owner was very responsive and I would highly recommend!

13 from my extended family stayed at the house during a visit to Yellowstone. The House was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our visit. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and to spend time together. There is a private marina with a private dock set aside for this home's use only. World class trout fishing off the jetty in front of the home, as well as Blue Ribbon river fly fishing 6 miles away! We are also uniquely located just 15 minutes from West Yellowstone, MT, which is the west entrance to Yellowstone Park, making this the ideal vacation get away.
