Great Couples Retreat....Ambience is Incredible!

The house is an original log cabin that has been totally renovated inside. Half of the house is the open floor plan of the great room/kitchen combination with stainless steel appliances, gas cook top, dish washer, disposal, microwave, oven, large french door refrigerator. Soft Kraftmaid cabinets with pantry. Gorgeous countertops and island, with all cooking utensils fully furnished.

The great room includes the fireplace, large dining table, small card table,desk and chair, couch with recliner, large coffee table, two bookcases full of good reading and several drawers containing many games for your use.

Two of the bedrooms are open to the views of the front and the back and side viewing the huge live oak tree or the marshland. The third bedroom views the front porch and beautiful oak tree. Our 2 full baths are ultra modern with a 5' by 6' porcelain master shower. Washer and dryer for your convenience in the 2nd bath.

This house is a total renovation and all appliances, bathrooms, flooring, etc. is new and modern inside; with the rustic, log cabin outside with plenty of space (1.6 acres). Overview of the marsh for plenty of wildlife viewing. Next to nature preserve.

*NOTE: Renting age minimum for adults is 25.

Beautiful home inside and out!

When first arriving on property you notice the beautiful tree in the front yard as well as how private this property is. This is a perfect getaway if you are looking for a quiet, home-like atmosphere. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area if you need suggestions on dining or other POI in the area. I 100% recommend this property and hope to return.

Cozy Cabin

Who would have thought a place like this was this close to the beach? The wildlife around the property and the solitude was amazing. It reminded us of growing up. Away from the rat race yet close enough not to be isolated. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely try to rent this place again.

Slice of heaven

If you don’t want the crowds this is the place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful marsh with LOTS of wildlife. Wish I could have enjoyed it more - had a wedding and was working for 3 days so....I’m coming back to enjoy it soon.

Beautiful low country spot

We enjoyed our stay in the low country. The property was picturesque, complete with a variety of marsh birds. Beds were more comfortable than any fancy hotel’s beds.

Gorgeous home overlooking a salt marsh

We loved the home. There’s plenty of room for a family of five and a dog too. The yard is huge with space to run. Amy’s home has high quality comfortable furniture and the kitchen is amazing. Everything is up to date, sparkling clean and thoughtfully appointed.

Let me begin by saying it was exactly what we needed. It was beautiful and the grounds were oh so gorgeous. So peaceful and serene . We needed to bring only food . A funny story from our Marine that graduated from boot camp. was." Really I just came from being locked up for 90 days and here we have to open and close a gate to stay).Thank you for opening up your home.

A gem!

This property is breathtakingly beautiful. Loved the deck with rocking chairs and porch swing, the Adirondack chairs by the marsh, all the wildlife and the hardwood floors. Our dogs loved this property and are a bit depressed that we are no longer there, lol. The owner, Amy, is very accommodating and super friendly. We will miss this place!

Best getaway ever!

My family and I absolutely loved every part of our stay! The house is beautiful, the yard is beautiful, the marsh is amazing and even though you have all the privacy you could want every thing you need is right around the corner! Amy the owner is wonderful and so accommodating!

Amazing, stunning, a must stay at property

This property is prettier in person than it is in these pictures. Amy is an amazing host and so kind and sweet. This property is a must if you are in the area. The property is so gorgeous and tranquil. Mornings out on the back porch listening to the birds, deer feeding in the front yard all the wildlife you see makes for some memorable mornings and evenings.

South Carolina Charm!

This cabin was a great place to spend a few months of quiet time while working in the area. It was comfortable and I felt at home immediately. Amy, the host, is GREAT! You will love the 200 year old+ tree in the front yard...it is worth coming to South Carolina just to see this tree!

A retreat to sit on the screened porch, listen and watch the wildlife, have acreage, yet be close to Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort and Savannah. This cozy cabin has it all. I am looking for my future retirement to be here in this piece of paradise.
