The Treehouse is a privately owned boutique home catering to families wishing to decompress, couples looking for a romantic getaway, and friends in need of a relaxing retreat. The home overlooks beautiful Bryson City, NC, ā€œThe Gateway to the Smokies,ā€ and sits atop a hill offering lovely views of the surrounding Great Smoky Mountains. The home is five minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad and is close to biking trails such as Tsali and Fire Mountain. The home is a fifteen-minute drive from Nantahala Gorge, Lake Fontana, and twelve miles from Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort.

The home is well-appointed and welcoming, and we make every effort to ensure our guests have plenty of amenities like fluffy towels, plush robes, an assortment of teas and coffees, a welcome snack basket, and mints by your pillow. Each room is individually decorated and full of character and personality.

You will enjoy complete privacy, a fully equipped kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows in each room. The house includes a queen, double, and twin bed. The home has one small bath supplied with bath bombs, shampoos, lotions, and body wash.

Each room includes a Blu-Ray player & access to Netflix & Disney+. There's a great collection of board games, puzzles, books, and movies, along with a Nintendo Switch, controllers, and several games. Regulation-size cornhole boards are provided for play, and there's a large deck with an outdoor fireplace for making smores or enjoying downtime with your family and friends. A charcoal grill is provided including charcoal, lighter cubes, and grilling tools.

If you have motorcycles or kayaks the house has an adjacent carport for your gear.
Want to work out? Our neighbor, Shift Wellness & Performance, offers a $5 per day day-pass; they have a beautiful gym with a splendid view of the Smokies.
Important note: the house sits on a pillar, and you will need to climb steps to get to the front door. The most convenient access is near the carport.
The home is not recommended for those with trailers as the paved driveway is steep with a few sharp curves.

We would love the opportunity to help you create fond memories and celebrate with family and friends. We have one vacation rental, do not use a management service, respond to each guest personally, and focus on attention to detail. Beautiful place - extremely convenient but private - hosts literally thought of everything - the ice box was full and they had refilled the ice trays! Linens were soft, pots and pans were quality - all the spices were there. Weā€™ve stayed at a lot of cabins and this one was by far the most like home away from home.

Wonderful spot for our family of 4. When we arrived, you could immediately tell the difference between this house and those run by large management companies. Things were very clean and extremely well stocked. I donā€™t know if the owners do use it personally, but it was clearly equipped and furnished like they would. The location was super convenient to Bryson city. It was amazing how it took 30 seconds to get up the driveway, but that was enough to transport you into a seemingly different world from the stuff at the bottom of the hill. You could still hear a little traffic if you were outside, mostly loud trucks and motorcycles, but other than that, it was a great forest retreat. Fully recommend for a family getaway.

My family and I felt very welcomed to the TreeHouse. It was definitely a unique place to stay. Plenty of privacy with all the needed amenities. We enjoyed making smores on the outside deck and fireplace. It was a great location to stay to easily get to all of the outdoor hiking and tubing places as well as downtown for dinning. Just beware that the driveway is very steep with sharp turns. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Perfect Getaway!This was my first time visiting Bryson City, and Iā€™m so glad I chose this treehouse instead of staying in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The space was clean, spacious, and incredibly relaxingā€”exactly what we needed to unwind. The treehouse had such a peaceful vibe, and you could truly feel immersed in nature while still enjoying all the comforts of home.The town itself was just as lovelyā€”everyone we met was warm and welcoming, and itā€™s clearly a very family-oriented community. I couldnā€™t have asked for a better experience.If youā€™re looking for a memorable stay, skip the hotel and book this treehouseā€”you wonā€™t regret it. Iā€™m already planning my next visit!

Welcoming and cozy

We had a wonderful time at the treehouse. The directions received were spot on and we had no issues finding it. The treehouse was thoughtfully stocked with snacks, coffee and tea and charging ports for all your electronics . They have signs posted to make clean up and leaving easy. I didnā€™t have to search emails to find what we needed to do but the signs donā€™t take away from the athletics. The view is incredible! I would caution larger vehicles, we have a full size Ram2500 and had to stop and back up going up the hill, no issues.

Treehouse in the woods

The entire house is decorated with unique items and furniture. The hosts provided almost everything you could possibly need for all ages. There is plenty of outdoor activities and room for people to hang out and relax. I let them know we were celebrating 2 birthdays and the host left a bottle of wine and a birthday cake. This was completely unexpected but extremely appreciated.

We're located just one mile from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad and enjoy hearing the train whistle off in the distance. The views from the home are spectacular in the fall and winter and being in the canopy of trees in the summer makes the home truly feel like a tree-house.

We own 14 acres surrounding the home, and you'll enjoy the complete privacy. The deck is perfect for an afternoon snooze in the hammock or an evening of marshmallow roasting in the outdoor fireplace. Or, play a game of cornhole by the deck as you enjoy the mountain views.

The home is wholly equipped, and special attention is given to each guest to ensure a memorable and relaxing experience. Each room is warmly decorated and the home includes cozy blankets, plush robes, fluffy towels, extra pillows, an assortment of coffees and teas, wine, beer, and champagne glasses, and all your baking utensils including casserole dishes, large bowls for popcorn, pots, baking dishes, cookie sheets, toaster, full sized Keurig, and blender.

If you or a family member are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, please let us know as we will be glad to help you celebrate this special occasion.

We offer a charcoal grill and include charcoal, fire starter cubes, grilling utensils, and have posted grilling instructions near by to aid in grilling the perfect steak, burger, hotdog, or corn on the cob.

Your washer and dryer are located in the home's basement and we provide dryer sheets, laundry pods, and fabric softener.
