Lux 3 Bedroom Beach GetAway-Self Checkin/Direct Parking/BIKES/Grill/Balcony/Wifi
Completely remodeled upstairs flat with great reviews! Three blocks to the beach, in the most desirable neighborhood in Galveston. Walk to restaurants, bars and local attractions or take our bikes and explore the island. The home is light and bright with tall ceilings, big new windows, central HVAC, luxury linens, new mattresses, pots/pans, balcony, wifi, grill, two bikes, etc. Great Reviews!
The Salt Water House is an upstairs 3 bedroom, 1 bath flat that is located three blocks from the seawall in a great neighborhood. We completely remodeled this house but kept the charm of the 1900 house intact, just modernized. The only way to access this home is to climb stairs.... we want to make sure our guests are aware of that.
We love this house and we maintain it and clean it as it is near and dear to our hearts. We want guests that will treat it with the respect it deserves; leave it in the condition you found it in.
BEDS:
1st Bedroom: 1 King bed. - JW Marriott Mattress
2nd Bedroom: 2 twins - Quality Mattresses for adults
3rd Space: 1 twin - Quality Adult Mattress
The SWH has a beautiful king bedroom with a new pillow-top mattress and hotel quality sheets.
The Seaside Room has two new cherry sleigh beds with new mattresses and luxury bedding.
The third "bedroom" is called the Sleeping Nook and is pretty small but it has a twin bed with new mattress and quality sheets and duvet, trendy wall lamp and headboard. It sleeps like an absolute dream. This room is right off the living room and we have curtains separating the space.
BATH:
The bathroom is gorgeous and has a big glass shower with a rain head fixture. The towels are luxury hotel grade. It's light and bright with a huge window for natural light.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen is our favorite room with generous counter space and a full sink, oven and fridge; it's color scheme is bright and airy and the granite counters and tile floor are easy to care for. It's a massive kitchen for a vacation rental. There is a little window seat and a high top table with four stools.
LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a new blue sectional sofa and reading chair, along with two new barrel side chairs. We have a 50" inch flatscreen tv in the living room with Roku TV (streaming netflix and hulu). There is a little balcony off the front stairs to enjoy as well.
There is parking for two cars on the street.
For our guests comfort and because there are already dogs on the property we do not allow any pets in this rental.
We do keep our rates really low to encourage single and double occupancy. Only registered guests are allowed in or on the property. After two guests, we charge $15 per night per person during the booking process. If you add guests after booking is finalized, it is $50 per night per person, up to the max number of guests.
This is a wonderful alternative to a hotel with all the luxuries of home.
