Best location Summer Rental

Our home is available for short term rentals between May- mid October. Our home sleeps 6 comfortably with a baby nursery as well if needed. We are located 1 minute from Birmingham's best shopping area, The Summit, with every shop and restaurant you can think of! There are a handful of restaurants you can walk to from our house as well, like Alabama Biscuit, Miss Myras BBQ, Crestline Bagel, or El zun in.
We have a big backyard with multiple outdoor seating areas. Our parking lot can fit 4-5 cars with extra parking available on the street.
We are not accepting reservations with pets or those intending to host parties.

Wonderful house

We have loved staying at this beautiful home just minutes from the summit. We have stayed here four times and each time it is clean, cozy, and convenient to everything. Truly a home away from home!

Beautiful home and grounds close to restaurants and shopping

Stayed here for my Father’s 90th birthday celebration in Altadena. Great location and wonderful host! Grounds are beautiful! Close to wonderful restaurants in Cahaba Heights, Summit and Mountain Brook. We will definitely be back when visiting our family.

Great house

This was our second stay with Mallory. Her house is lovely, well kept, and excellently located. Perfect spot to catch up with family and friends in Birmingham.

Relaxing stay with great location

Cannot say enough great things about this property and owner! Great communication, house had every amenity one could possibly need, and was pristinely clean with comfortable beds! Will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for such a charming home away from home.

Great Place

Family of 6 in town for a 5 day Perfect Game baseball tournament. House was in a nice area with many things within walking distance. House was close enough to the interstate and highway, takes about 5 to 10 minutes to get to I-459 or Hwy 280.Baseball Tournament - The house seems to be centrally located to most fields. We were about 20 minutes from the Hoover Met. The furthest drive was north of Birmingham to Gardendale and it took 30 minutes (8 am start time).

Family wedding weekend

My family and I had a fabulous weekend in Birmingham for my nephew’s wedding. Mallory’s home was a perfect fit for our trip. It was beautifully decorated and landscaped plus so clean and spacious for the 5 of us. It was very close to many restaurants and stores that we utilized during our stay.

Absolutely terrific

A great property with all the amenities you can ask for. Enjoyed having my coffee on the front porch and the backyard was absolutely wonderful. Rooms were perfect and I would stat there again in a New York minute! :-)

Wedding With Family

Everything about the place was ideal. Very cool property, absolutely beautiful yard, great location. The house is fantastic; really well decorated and maintained. The pictures really don't do complete justice...such a great vibe about this place. Family (three twenty somethings and wife) agree it was a home run.

Perfection!

I traveled solo with my children and couldn’t have found a more perfect spot. The house is in a wonderful location with so many amenities nearby. My children were happy to play in the yard and home while I worked a bit in the lovely home office. Thank you!

Beautiful home

Had a lovely stay! This was one of the nicest places we’ve visited, and we stay in vrbos often. The house was well air conditioned, furniture stylish and comfortable, and kitchen was updated and well-equipped. I love to garden, so it was a pleasure to walk on the stone pavers around the flowers and thoughtfully landscaped grounds. Very peaceful. Mallory was very responsive, too. Highly recommend. Location in Cahaba Heights was awesome. I love all the fun shopping and restaurants close by. Neighborhood is very very safe and family friendly.

Quaint home

We had a delightful stay! The home was stocked with all of the necessities to make our visit comfortable. It was very convenient to be able to walk to restaurants in the neighborhood. We checked out Alabama Biscuit one morning and Crestline Bagel the other day. The blueberry spiced latte was a hit from Alabama Biscuit! The location was a geographical oddity to shopping, breweries, and Mcwanes science museum that we went to while there. I enjoyed the swing in the backyard which was perfect for a quiet area to read! We had our 9 month old with us. We were thankful for the crib, high chair, sound machine, children utensils, and books/toys for entertainment and ease. It allowed for us to easily watch him play while we watched football. Thank you for your communication prior and during our time. If we are back in Alabama with the crew, we will definitely try to book this property again.

Peaceful gem, quick drive to downtown Birmingham

Our family, including 2 kids and a set of grandparents were in town for my husband's conference and for vacation. We were impressed by the lovely home, it's many comfortable spaces and it's beautiful yard. The home was very clean. Parking was easy and ample. Our kids appreciated the books, games and toys as well as the trampoline (although the heat and bugs limited our time outside). We appreciated extra paper goods, spices, coffee/sugar, many dishes/pots/pans. The laundry machines are modern and work well. The black out curtains in each room and the air conditioning made the home an oasis from the heat. The primary suite on the first floor provides lovely privacy and has a "great shower!" per the grandparents. Several restaurants and grocery stores were nearby and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. We loved how easy it was to drive downtown (just 15 minutes) for the conference, and for the rest of us to go to the impressive free art museum and to the must-be-seen Civil Rights Institute. Mallory was extremely responsive and gave great instructions. She even allowed us a later check-out due to VRBO's automatic message mistakenly telling us check-out was an hour later. We were also impressed that our hosts dealt with a huge tree on the property having been struck and felled by lightning just days before our arrival. They had the roof repair done before we arrived and our stay was not affected at all. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very cute cottage in Cahaba Heights

We had a great stay at this house in Cahaba Heights. It was clean, nice, and had plenty of bedrooms for us and the kids. The house is older, which just made it more charming. The outside landscaping is absolutely gorgeous, if you're into that sort of thing, which I am. The location is super convenient to 459, the Summit, and even downtown because 280 is so close. We'd definitely stay here again.
