Bayberry Cottage is a serene getaway with all the essentials for a couple’s retreat. The cottage features a king-size bed, a large Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for your culinary adventures. Enjoy the cozy living area with a wood-burning fireplace or step outside to embrace the tranquility of your private outdoor space. Whether you’re soaking in the tub or relaxing fireside, Bayberry Cottage is designed for relaxation.

Bayberry is one of the Autumn Ridge Cottages, situated on a 40 acre ridge with grassy fields, woodlands, and gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Wildlife is abundant with deer, wild turkey, rabbits, and birds.

Located minutes from Lexington's historic downtown area, VMI & WLU colleges, and the Virginia Horse Center. Lots of local shopping and dining. Plenty of historic site-seeing, breweries, wineries, etc.

We had a lovely stay. This cottage is so nice and comfortable. We walked the Chessie trail. It is a a beautiful trail along the Maury river.

Very clean cottage, besides the resident forest critters who were already expected to be there, i.e. tiny moths, house spiders, etc... The layout of the cottage was perfect, simple, charming, and cozy. The ultimate bonus its pet friendly and made our stay it feel even more like home away from home with pupper dupps being welcomed and able to be with us. All creature comforts were provided, with exception of a washer and dryer in the unit. Perfectly short drive into town while still being secluded and quiet. Water pressure was excellent and the ice maker worked like a charm. Everything advertised was in working order and able to be used. I have referred AR Cottages to several friends for their weekend getaway lists. Thank you for hosting us.

Loved our stay! The location is beautiful and the cottage is very private. The front porch has lovely rocking chairs and candles - perfect for watching the sunset or relaxing in the evening.

Always beautiful up here. Cozy and clean cottage. We have the most relaxing time up here. Our first time was for our honeymoon four years ago. This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the mountains. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful Cottage Experience

The cottage was immaculate and checkin was super easy. The bed is quite possibly the best bed I've ever slept in! For a couple on a weekend or week long getaway this is a perfect place to stay that's close enough to Lexington to check out and explore but not in the middle of anything for some private time.

The cottage was a little smaller than expected, with low ceilings. The grounds were lovely and the hosts were friendly and charming. They provided all the amenities that we needed. The weather made it difficult to take advantage of the towpath into New Hope. All in all, a nice location for a weekend stay

Great cabin

This cute and rustic cabin is close to town but feels very private and secluded. The cabin was adorably decorated and clean. Thoughtful touches were abundant throughout. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the dragonflies. A peaceful getaway but close enough we were able to DoorDash a meal.

Lovely Cabin

We were in Lexington for a family wedding. This cabin was nice as it allowed us to be close to all the action but away from the more stressful moments. The pictures are accurate & the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi was great after a long hard hike. Lexington was close to good trails & had a terrific brewery & good restaurants.

The cabin was good. The bed has bedbugs, and it was not very clean. The rest was good. The neighborhood is close relatively in car to Lexington. Issue, there is very little places to walk or trails. They are near in car but not close to the property.

Very nice cabin, we were extremely impressed by it. It's location as perfect in relation to Lexington (maybe 5 minute drive), the surrounding scenery was very nice. The attention to detail of the cabin was very thorough as well. Cabin was clean and hygienic material provided (soap, shampoo, towels) was on par with a top notch hotel. The only room for improvement we saw were that the ironing board was actually broken down the middle and had been broken from a previous guest I suppose, so my wife had to use the dining table. Also, not sure if that is indeed supposed to be a vent in the bathroom, but that wasn't working. Other than that, nothing else and we'll look at staying here again in the future.
