Come enjoy the comforts and conveniences of this unique rustic, yet contemporary home, nestled in the woods, just outside of Saratoga Springs. Gourmet kitchen, large front and back deck for relaxing/entertaining, large outdoor fire pit, new Weber grill, piano, first floor master suite, three large bedrooms upstairs, and two living rooms. The first floor boasts wide plank cherry floors, 32 foot ceilings, a cherry kitchen that loves to entertain in style, and a gorgeous stone fireplace. Beyond Saratoga attractions, this home is conveniently located half an hour south of Lake George and with ample hiking/outdoor activities only a stone's throw away.
Please note: this house is lived in by the owners when not rented. There will be food in the pantry and clothes in the closets. However, we always make room for your things. We now have air conditioning!!!!
Sometimes we stay in our garage apartment when we have guests renting. We always respect our guests' privacy and want you to have the best experience possible. Front door has a video doorbell.

Saratoga Racetrack Getaway

Perfect place for our group of guys for annual weekend at the track. We grilled, enjoyed the deck, plenty of space, large bedrooms, cooking area. Owners were accessible and helpful. All amenities were supplied! Don’t hesitate to book this for your next vacation.

Impressive home, friendly owners

The house was beautifully constructed. The back deck and firepit were great for outside usage, and the wifi was spot on. Grill and gas cooktops were great for our meals. We had some mild concerns about room for our belongings based on prior reviews, but it wasnt an issue at all. Great for a group of adults- the drive or Uber to the track or downtown was 12 min or so. Owners were extremely friendly.

Comfortable big family house

We were in town for a family wedding and had 10 adults siblings and spouses staying at this beautiful house. It was the perfect setting for us to be together under one roof. The house was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and also chatting with Laura and Richard. Too bad we didn’t have time to use the fire pit

Great place for large groups

Beautiful house and property. The owners are very responsive. We were 4 couples using 4 of the 5 rooms. The 5 th room was up a large staircase, glad we did not need to use it. There are 2 bathrooms so people have to be comfortable sharing bathrooms. It has a great large kitchen ( the refrigerator / freezer was full of the owners stuff but we were able to fit our stuff and use a cooler). Large dining area with banquet table area and a beautiful fire pit. The owners brought wood over for us to use. It’s about 15 minutes from the track and downtown.

Disappointed

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The house was nice, but the lack of privacy overshadowed that. Owners on property and constantly outside. Not much space between us and wanted privacy We had a very short stay, only 48 hours. Day of our arrival, the owners were throwing a birthday party for their 89-year-old father outside. We went in the house and stayed there because we felt uncomfortable going outside, as we didn’t want to disturb their party Within three hours of arriving, we were sitting in the living room and a family member entered the residence, walked right past us and said she was going up to her room to grab some stuff. We were shocked and speechless The next day when we were leaving to go to lunch, the owners were outside and saw us leaving and driving away. One woman in our party stayed at the house to nap. She was upstairs and heard someone in the house. She was shocked and frightened to encounter the male homeowner in the house. He did tell her he was grabbing his stuff as well. This was unacceptable and crossed the line. 1: house is full of owners’ belongings and fridge has their food in it. Was a bit cramped for renters’ items. 2:owners’ dog runs freely on property and even on rental porch. Not everyone is a dog lover 3: even though cleaning fee was included, asked to vacuum, sweep, strip beds, etc With the owners coming into the house, staying on top of us, made for an uncomfortable and awkward stay, at times scary

Beautiful!’

I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Saratoga during my daughter’s 4 years at Skidmore, and this was among the best. The house is beautiful and Laura and Richard couldn’t have been nicer. Very well equipped kitchen, gorgeous yard/fire pit, and plenty of room to relax and hang out. We loved it!!

Outskirts of Saratoga

Had a very pleasant stay. The location was great because it gave you an opportunity to have a country feel but be really close for a Saratoga bop in. Felt very rustic.

Great Thanksgiving weekend

We, 4 adults and 4 kids, had a great time in Middle Grove. The house, with it unique architecture, was very inviting. The kitchen and the outside BBQ were great to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is very well equipped and huge that we all could enjoy cooking. Weather wasn’t that good, but we still could enjoy the great outdoor space including the fire place which we used for BBQ as well. Richard and Laura were very friendly and responded immediately to our questions. We enjoyed our time a lot and can highly recommend this house. Thanks for having us.

Awesome Time with family in Upstate New York

We absolutely loved this place, it was everything we hoped for. Plenty of room both inside and out. The outdoor space was awesome, we used the fire pit every night. The owners Richard and Laura were very friendly and were a pleasure to deal with, we would definitely rent this house again.

Race Weekend

Awesome, newly-built, property with a huge yard and tons of sleeping space. Stayed with some college buddies to golf and go to the racetrack. About 15 mins to downtown Saratoga, 25 mins to the lake. Great price and friendly owners

Weekend In Saratoga

The property was amazing as were the accommodations. The hosts were accessible when we had questions and enjoyable to work with. The interior was beautiful and the property lent itself for the beautiful weather we had during our stay. The house, both inside and out, definitely made for a relaxing and comfortable weekend. A short drive to downtown Saratoga with everything you need close by. Plenty of sleeping options for adults and kids with all amenities included in the stay. A definite recommendation to all interested and we will certainly be coming back.

Perfect, clean, and comfortable large and open house

Rural house so close to Saratoga Springs. This gorgeous, solid timber frame house with beautiful wooden sliding doors and beams and floors was a fun place to hang and play games and do puzzles with family and friends during my son's Skidmore graduation. Ample space, keyboard, big and well-stocked kitchen very easy to cook and clean in. Fire pit and barbecue would have been great to use had we had more evenings. Loved our stay and found it relaxing. The fact that it is usually lived in--and not just a rental shell--helped it be easy to be in. Thank you! Maybe we'll come back with family friends.

Terrific winter vacation!

Beautiful post and beam home with all modern conveniences. My family and I were looking for a place that looked and felt like a vacation in the Adirondacks. Not like the homes we live in, or a hotel. Here we could all gather in living room in front of a fireplace watch movies, talk, play games, or relax. The location is not too far from center of town or casino. The owners, Laura and Rich are very pleasant and responsive.

Very nice home

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and house is very nice. I would agree with a previous renter/reviewer. The house should be treated more like a rental. It was a bit awkward having all the homeowner belonging in the closets and kitchen. It left very little space for our clothing and food.

Excellent location and very private. House was perfect for 10 of us. Very clean, well equipped for cooking, fresh linens and extremely comfortable. We took advantage of using the bbq, and playing games on the great property. The campfire was a great way to finish the day. Would definitely recommend this spot and return at a later date. Saratoga is a fantastic place to visit so much to see and do!

House was awesome and the location was great and very fairly priced.

Homeowners were great people and very helpful throughout the process. Only thing I would change after renting properties for large parties over the years is...I would make it seem more like a rental place not a home where a family lives full time. Also maybe give the guest space while they are staying there. Save the lawn mowing and such for when guests aren't present. Like I stated before overall an awesome experience convenient location and helpful people to deal with. I would definitely recommend the house and would go back myself.
