Centrally located in a uniquely quiet, upscale neighborhood on a 1-acre lot. Enjoy the casita, which has 1 bathroom and 1 master bedroom with an incredibly comfortable Tuft & Needle memory foam king-size bed. With a fun 9' deep pool, a roaming tortoise named Halsey hangs out eating grass around our mid-century modern casita, inspired and built by an understudy of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright. Easy access to all the amazing winter and spring events like the Princess Golf Waste Management Phoenix Open, Professional Baseball Spring Training, Football Bowl Games, Barrett Jackson International Auto Auction, Scottsdale Westworld International Arabian Horse Shows, World Class Hiking, Road Mountain Biking, Handle Bar J’s Live Country Music & Friday Fish Fry, and Bike Week at Buffalo Chip with a Rodeo on Friday nights, 1st Friday Art Walk in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Talking Stick Casino, and lots more outdoor shopping within 2.5 miles at The Quarter, Kierland Commons, or the Promenade, not to mention the Scottsdale Mall just 5 miles South from us. Many people visit Arizona to go to 1 of the 7 natural wonders of the world, "The Grand Canyon," or Sedona's spectacular Red Rock. We are just about 2 hours from Sedona's Oak Creek or Tlaquepaque Shopping Village. Our little oasis in the desert getaway is a quiet, serene space surrounded by many very tall (15 ft.) plants, like a wall of oleanders-very Palm Springs and great for privacy. You will love to walk the neighborhood, and we’re close to many things like cute coffee shops, Mexican food to sit on their patio and have a drink, Traders Joe's, natural grocery stores, and beauty spas, many within walking distance. Our 74th Street is in a unique cul-de-sac with all higher-end style homes on large lots because it was horse property many years ago. The Casita is detached from our main house, which was built in 1962. Our property has a long driveway; when you pull in and drive past the garage door on the left, there are 2 private parking spaces available next to our welcoming entry gate just in front of the pool, where you can come and go as you please. Come experience our beautiful green space, “we love plants and cacti,” and enjoy our amazing AZ sunshine!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was well-appointed with everything we needed, plus thoughtful little extras that made it even more comfortable. lovely respite on cross country trip

If you are seeking a quiet, lovely spot to stay in Scottsdale- look no further. Guest house property was immaculate, off street parking in an upscale neighborhood, lovely pool to cool off in after a long day, and friendly on-site owners in main house who provided great dining suggestions and friendly conversation. You won't be disappointed.

Nice Place, Great Hosts, Good Location

After a late notification of construction at the place we had previously booked, we found this location and booked last minute. We couldn’t have been luckier. The property was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The location was in a convenient location to everything we wanted to do, and we enjoyed our afternoons by the pool after taking morning hikes. We appreciated Charity taking the time to make sure we had everything we needed!

Stylish comfortable stay

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the end of our week in Az. Great communication with Charity before stay offering recommendations for dining, hiking or any activities we may want to do in area. Clear instructions were given on check in process and meeting with them on arrival. Amenities like stocked fridge of cold water and coffee were welcome extras! The casita is for living out your mid century dreams, just gorgeous architecture & styled perfectly. Comfortable bed, slept well! This casita is in the backyard of owners home so you will see each other,- it was lovely meeting and talking to them, they are welcoming and friendly!! Thank you for a great stay!

Peaceful & Perfect!

This little Casita was perfect for my husband and I for a quick business trip from Texas! We are both in real estate and we LOVED all of the architecture and original features this home has to offer! The decor and furniture are on point with the vibe! I think I took more pictures of this place than I did on the entire trip! The casita and the grounds were so meticulously manicured! It was so impressive! It was instantly peaceful the second you pulled into the driveway! Watching the tortoise and bunnies mosey around the yard was an added bonus!! It was close to everything you need! The hosts are incredibly helpful & accommodating! If we ever came back to Scottsdale, we would definitely book again! No question! You need to book here! You will not be disappointed!

Peaceful stay at an Oasis

Wonderful relaxing stay at this Oasis! The property is very private and well manicured. The casita is well designed and expertly decorated. The hosts are very welcoming, helpful and responsive. There’s even a pet tortoise roaming the yard that is very friendly. I hope to come back and stay on future trips.

Great Place to Stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days and it was just what we needed to recharge! The casita is exactly as pictured, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect. You’re 10 minutes from everywhere, but when you’re sitting by the pool it’s like you’re in your own private oasis! Definitely a great place to stay.

Tranquil Oasis in Paradise

Look no further. Just book it. This place is perfection! Spacious, beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The king size bed is a dream! If you love MCM or Frank Lloyd Wright, this is your dream come true. 1960 design and decor with modern comforts. Our stay at this casita was absolutely fantastic. It is a perfect getaway for some R&R with serene surroundings. Located in a gorgeous Central Scottsdale neighborhood accessible to many restaurants and shopping areas in Scottsdale. Lounging by the pool area is very relaxing and the casita itself is stocked with attention to detail. The hosts are terrific and could not be more accommodating. If you think the pictures are good, it’s even better in person. You will not be disappointed!

Great central location and removed from city noises. Comfotable furniture and high end comfy mattress & linens as well as an array of pillow options. Nest thermostat for comfort settings and very quiet furnace. Well appointed mindful details throughout casita. Delightfull stay!

We really enjoyed your lovely midcentury pool house and the peace and quiet. The location was perfect for us with a variety of restaurants nearby. Everything was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We did not make use of the kitchen except for coffee in the morning but it was well stocked with small appliances,etc. I used the patio area for a short morning exercise by the pool - and miss it! You were great hosts and we highly recommend your property for a single person or a couple.

So happy with my stay

What a fantastic place to stay in Scottsdale. The house was clean and quiet and in a great location. But the highlight was meeting the owners, Jerry and Charity. You couldn’t meet two nicer people and they go out of their way to make sure that you have an enjoyable stay. Everything was so good that I didn’t want to leave.
