Surrounded by the beauty of the Smokies, you'll enjoy the privacy of a wooded mountain setting with partial mountain views, a spacious yard, a fire pit, horseshoe pit, and plenty of room for everyone to relax and reconnect. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the expansive wraparound porch, enjoy outdoor meals at the picnic tables, and gather around the fire pit under a canopy of stars after a day of adventure.

Inside, the lodge is thoughtfully designed for entertaining and spending time together. The fully equipped kitchen features double ovens, two sinks, an island cooktop, and generous prep space, making it easy to prepare meals for the whole group. Wedding Weekend

My cousin got married in Gatlinburg so this was the perfect place for our family to stay for the weekend! We had a great time and there was plenty of space for all of us. The only thing we wished was that there was more seating in the game room area. :)

Overall great

Overall the property was great, a little worn in but that was expected for a high traffic tourist area. The ac needed work the first day and they were able to fix it within 24 hours. The location is perfect, we loved being secluded yet so close. The guest house was nicer than the pictures too ! Other than some maintenance issues that they can address it was great!

Hilltop hideaway

Overall, the house was fine. Some of the kitchen appliances could be updated. The "cabin" and covered walkway are very nice features, allowing a couple (grandparents?) to get away from the rest of the group! Nice amenities in the rec-room, the fire pit, and "bags" on the deck. The location was certainly out in the country but close enough to Sevierville for shopping and to the eastern part of the SMNP for fishing and hiking.

Could be nice - but needs basic upkeep

The Bad: Water leaked on the kitchen counter heavily when it rained (and dripped when it wasn't raining). Mold/water damage on ceiling where it is leaking from and above dining room table. The master bath sink didn't drain, and the master bath door was missing a door handle, most bathroom doors did not lock. The foosball table was broken and unplayable. The grill needs to be replaced (grates and burners rusted). There were several light bulbs out. The horseshoe pit has vegetation growing up around it making it hard to play. It could be a very nice cabin, but it needs maintenance and basic upkeep. The Good: Customer service was friendly and responsive, repaired “must fix” issues listed above within 24 hours (sink, foosball table, door handle, and supplied cooking grates to make the grill useable); Close to Pigeon Forge; plenty of room for 19 people; quiet setting; mostly clean (excluding the floors). We've stayed in 4 cabins in the Pigeon Forge area (3 in the last 4 years). This is easily the worst one when it came to the need for repair, issues, and overall cleanliness. I would not stay here again.

Wonderful

Our stay at the Smoky Bear Lodge was great! The property was clean and they had the hot tub warmed up for us before we arrived. The cabin was just as pictured and had plenty of movies and board games stocked up. Our days were pretty busy exploring, but it was great knowing we had a nice, clean cabin to arrive to each evening. The kitchen was also stocked up nicely with plenty of dishes and tools, including an instant pot.

Old stinky and outdated

Property was very dirty, there were bugs and roaches all over the place. The furniture was smelly. The only pluses were the hot tub and the size. The guest house was even worse than the main cabin. The ladies at the management company were rude.

Birthday Getaway‼️

This cabin was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed to make it a special family vacation. The hostess responded in a timely manner with every question or concern I asked prior to booking and thereafter throughout our whole stay will definitely do it again. It also was easy to find and the fact that it was 10/15 mins from everything was a bonus thank you for your hospitality my stay was amazing.
