Everything about our stay was fantastic! The home was even more beautiful than the photos. We had an incredibly relaxing stay, with gorgeous views and a beautifully maintained, well-equipped home. Beverly's communication was top-notch, which always makes for an easy, enjoyable stay. We'd love to come back again soon!

This was a nice, well equipped place to stay -we loved the space in the house. Master bedroom has a great view. Massage chair was a wonderful experience! Outdoor spaces were great, balconies to watch the boats and enjoy coffee. Super quiet and peaceful. Loved the hot tub and the wood burning fire place. Would definitely come again!

We loved our stay at Brinnon vrbo. Home was well-appointed, with so many great amenities like spa, sauna, great view. Check-in and out was easy and owner responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing beautiful home

Brought my dad here to relax and this house did not disappoint. Beautiful location, loved the house and all amenities. Very clean and spacious. Love the backyard. Definitely a great home for vacation

Mother - daughter getaway

Great location on the water. Hot tub, sauna, massage chair all in working order and helped to make this a great trip. Great to find everything needed in the kitchen including basics like oil, spices, coffee. General store is very close by for anything we forgot to bring. Will definitely come again.

Peaceful stay on the water

This house was great for our group. Plenty of space for everyone and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities such as the sauna, and the massage chair was a hit! Very quiet area which made our getaway very serene. Thank you for our stay!

Absolutely magical stay!We came to celebrate our mom’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot. From harvesting oysters right on the beach to soaking in the hot tub and sauna-ing, everything felt celebratory and rejuvenating. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need and glorious amenities — including the best massage chair ever! We loved playing cards inside and out while taking in the water. The master bedroom has an unbelievable sunrise view — truly awe inspiring to wake to. We made unforgettable memories here. Host was communicative and welcoming. Couldn’t have been sweeter! Such a special place.

The view is outstanding and the house is clean and comfortable. Everything worked fine (we didn't use the sauna). Be aware that there are several sets of stairs to access the beach, and the side road to access the house from Hwy 101 is a bit dicey. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are only a short walk away from Dosewallips State Park, the Geoduck Bar and Grill, and the Halfway House Restaurant (which was very good). Thank you, Beverly, for sharing your home with us.

View was amazing. The two bedroom beds were good. Windows were clean. Kitchen is horribly outdated and very dirty - decades of grime build up in the drawers and on the cabinet doors. 1970s contact paper held on with black electrical tape, greasy stove top, broken knives and scissors, etc. We washed everything by hand before using it. Neither the oven or stovetop lights worked. Only 1 of 3 bulbs on the counter light worked. One of the bathroom lightbulbs was missing. There's mold outside of the shower because the shower curtain isn't long enough and water runs lut. There was a thick layer of grime around the Jacuzzi that we had to clean. We swept the decks of debris and had to wipe down the deck table because it was black with filth. There were no kitchen garbage bags. There is mold and mildew on the outside furniture seat cushions because there isn't a storage bin, so they are just left to the elements. The outside seating is not comfortable. The grill igniter doesn't work. The gas lighter they kept with it was empty. There are barely any readible instructions for the house anywhere. Highly disappointed in this accommodation based on the reviews and pictures. I reached out to the host multiple times. She did respond but honestly this level of filth isn't something easily rectified. It needs serious work or a complete kitchen remodel. She also never warned us about the toxic levels of contamination in the oysters - a public health threat. That is really curious.

Spectacular view of Hood Canal

Hubby and I need a weekend away from the city and this was just what we needed. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. The.layout of house was exactly as described. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Lots of cooking appliances and coffee/espresso machines. Oh and we loved the massage chair and suana. Everything you need to relax. Recommend the lovely quaint restaurant just down the way called The Halfway House for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Awesome experience!!

This place is clean, warm, friendly and not overcrowded. We really enjoyed our stay. Were going to try and go out for dinner but after we saw the house we decided to eat in. The hot tub, sauna, deck with warm lights and swing were all so very nice but then you get to go to the Magic Message chair. This was a great and easy place to stay and would highly recommend;).

Family vacation

LOVED LOVED this place!! Perfect house, perfect location, perfect amenities, very quiet, close to hiking and water sports!! Small car is best, for the turn is a tough one. Restaurants are few and far between, but DELICIOUS!!!! Hiking is to die for in the Olympic Peninsula!!!! Oysters galore!!! Jets in hot tub need help, but otherwise just a lovely place!!!

Very Relaxing !!!

My husband , son and I thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing retreat in Brinnon on Hood Canal. The owners have done a great job of creating a spa-like vacay complete with hot tub and sauna. The media room is adorable!The views are great and the beds are luxurious. Brinnon itself does not have much to offer if you happen to be there when the weather isn’t great. But there are lots of hiking trails and parks otherwise. I would suggest bringing lots of food as the restaurant/grocery store choices are VERY limited. Place is super clean!

Amazing place

Clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Everything well labeled. Right on the water. Beautiful views all day. Everything you need and nothing you don't. The decks and beach area are amazing. Even in December. A few notes: Despite the hot tub jets not working well, it was super clean and relaxing. The sauna takes a while to warm up, turn it on a good hour before you want to use it. The massage chair really works you over. It's a nice addition. Oysters straight from the beach at low tide were delicious on the fire pit grill. If you're looking to chill and unwind, you won't be disappointed.

Changed the listing - rude owner

When I originally booked this place, it stated it accommodated 11 people, i had 8. Once we got there, I realized there was no way we could sleep this many people, once I pulled up the listing again, I notice it was changed from 11 to 5!! After I was upset with what I felt being lied to, I reached out to Jessica who was very sweet. She put me in contact with the owner, Beverly. Beverly could not see what the problem was. It was clear they agreed this place did not sleep 11, not even 8, and they updated it to 5!!! Yet, stood by her opinion saying I should have read the listing better. Yes, they said a sleeper chair, this chair couldn’t fit a midget. The futon beds were if we were all couples and had to cuddle up. Since my group was not all coupled up, I figured booking a place 3 under the sleeping limit would be very comfortable. It was not. Do not rent this place unless you have 5 max, this is two bedrooms with a small “tv” room.

We tried very hard to accommodate Ashley and make her vacation special. We are in fact able to accommodate up to 11 people comfortably, but we have special protocol to make this happen, and we are alerted to do this when someone books for more than 5 people. Unfortunately we were not alerted because Ashley did not accurately state the number of guests she would be bringing. Perhaps this was an accident (we'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt as opposed to assuming she was being dishonest to try to reduce her cost). However, when she called us, we did our best to meet her demands. She then asked to stay another night because of how much she loved the place, giving us no indication that she was displeased in any way, and thus no opportunity to work out a solution. Sadly, when she left, we discovered that she had damaged our property without letting us know or offering to pay us back, and then to add insult to injury, she left us this review.

Amazing weekend at the cottage

This property was an absolute gem. The property came stocked with all that we needed to cook, relax and enjoy our time. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and pots/pans. The views were beautiful and the massage chair was the cherry on top.

We have grown up in the Northwest all of our lives. We love to be outside, surfing, hiking, gardening, kayaking, crabbing, biking, cooking and just being in nature. We build or buy our houses that are more unique that we can offer others a place to really enjoy their stay and have the best experience they can.

We are a hospitable couple who have been around the world and love to travel and experience life as a local where we go. So we would love to share some of our local experiences with others.

Embedded within this verse is the idea that we should live to show others what God is like. We strive to show the world what God is like. He is creator, lover of the soul, keeper of all good things.
