Stonewall Cabin is a Conestoga log home nestled on quiet, secluded acres on Happy Hill Lane. Covered deck with swing and Adirondack chairs afford stunning views of the valley to the south. This cottage is equipped with satellite tv (Dish) and has its own private pond for swimming, boating, and catch-and-release fishing.

FIRST FLOOR: Open floor plan, newly renovated kitchen beneath loft with large sink and new granite countertops, redesigned dining and living areas with views of woods, valley, and meadow and a gas fireplace; private Master bedroom suite with double bed, its own bathroom with a shower only, and washer and dryer; an office with futon sofa and an additional full bathroom with a shower only complete the main floor.

SECOND FLOOR: 2 bedrooms both with double beds, one with an additional futon; L-shaped loft with futon sofa and sitting/reading area, small library nook; full bath/shower only.

LOWER LEVEL: Family room, queen sleeper sofa and recliner chairs; small kitchen area with sink, mini-fridge, toaster oven, and hot plate; cozy child’s bedroom with double bed; and full bath/shower only.

Stonewall Cabin sleeps up to ten. This is a non-smoking cottage. Pets are negotiable for a non-refundable pet fee. Weber grill. WiFi is available at Stonewall Cabin, but cannot be guaranteed.

Wonderful place!

We had a great time at this beautiful property. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, and the location is amazing. It was very private and quiet - just what we needed. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. 5 stars all around!

Thanksgiving stay

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving with family (6 adults and 2 kids). The house is beautiful and comfortable. It was cold outside and felt cozy inside, though there is PLENTY of room for people to sneak off by themselves. Beds were very comfortable, and we had all the amenities in order to enjoy ourselves and cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and accommodating. I highly recommend the Stonewall cabin.

The fall at Stone Wall Cabin.

Overall an excellent property. A great time was had by the family. Eagles Mere is a lovely place to visit and unwind. The only problems were a downstairs fireplace that was totally disconnected, upstairs bathroom had a large amount of black mold on the ceiling, and MBR mattress needs replaced.

Great Mountain Feel!

Our group was unable to get there earlier in the day, Robin Real Estate did a wonderful job accommodating to our timing! The cabin had more than enough room for all 10 of us and still felt big. You could see the fall foliage perfectly from the view of the house. The only downside I'll mention is the WiFi situation. The WiFi is not guaranteed as mentioned in the listing, but it really was not allowing us to get connected, especially important when there is no service or service was lost due to the area. Overall, great experience and BEAUTIFUL views.

Happy Hill Road, Eagles Mere

The property was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was beyond amazing. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of room for my whole family. We even had several deer right outside the kitchen window. I would definitely go back again.

Lovely home beautiful location

Other than having to travel into town to pick up a key after I was told the home would be unlocked everything was as expected. I found the master bed to be a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. To connect to WiFi the realtors instructions were incorrect but the owner left a binder that had the correct password. Cell signal is spotty depending on cell provider. The view however was worth all of that. The kids enjoyed fishing at the private pond and stargazing. We were visiting for the weekend so one of the adults could participate in the Worlds End Fall Classic. We would definitely come back.

Just beautiful

I can’t explain how peaceful and beautiful this house was. We really enjoyed ourselves and had such great laughs and it was so nice to be off the grid even though there is wifi and full service! the kitchen has everything you can think of pots pans mugs coffee maker the beds could be a tiny bit bigger but it was worth all of it there was so much room for everyone to be on their own if they wanted the deck is so. nice to enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful views. We were so happy with this location and with Robin Rentals

Excellent mountain cabin

Had a wonderful stay at the Stonewall Cabin. The place was just as pictured, very clean and well-stocked. The property is very picturesque and close to town. The views from the deck were amazing!! Highly recommend!

Stonewall Cabin is just beautiful. The setting is idyllic. Sitting on the deck just listening to the birds and the rustling leaves was so peaceful. The cabin is lovely. We had 6 adults and an infant and could easily have fit more. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. Because of Covid we chose to bring in all of our groceries from home and prepare all meals at the cabin. There was nothing lacking in the kitchen. The area surrounding Eagles Mere is breathtakingly beautiful at this time of year with many places to hike and enjoy the Fall colors. We hope to visit again!
