Charming home located in the heart of Silicon Valley. The home is centrally located only 1.5 miles from Downtown Palo Alto and 1.8 miles to Stanford University and a 10 minute drive to Sandhill Road. Nearby restaurants, Rinconada Park (Swimming, tennis courts, and playground) and Children's library , Main Library and Palo Alto arts center. Perfect for up to 6 guests. Fully furnished home with a large backyard on a quiet street.

What a wonderful home, not just a property! We celebrated a Stanford graduation here, and the location was great for all our dining and campus activities. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully renovated, and it is equipped with everything you would need for a visit. The gardens are an additional and inviting living space with fragrant roses and jasmine. Annette and Cathy were very helpful and great communicators. What a treat to have made this a PA dream home for a few days!

Beautiful, spacious, and clean stay

The best vacation rental I've ever stayed at! Our family had a lovely stay. The host allowed us to check in early and was very communicative. The home was immaculate, well-appointed, very comfortable. Our toddler had a great time running around in the giant fenced in garden. Location was also convenient and walkable to some local attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Easter Family Gathering

This property is gorgeous and super comfortable. We hosted my parents and college-age daughter here for nearly a week and had a wonderful stay. The house is comfortable, clean and easy to use. The gardens are even more beautiful than the pictures and the neighborhood is terrific for walking. We highly recommend this home!

Icing on the cake

Once again, another beautiful & memorable stay! We found this gem while searching for a safe haven for our family during Covid when our daughter started law school. Her then 89/90 year old grandparents - now 92/93 have continued joining us as well. Being able to stay here when she first began, frequent this home through the years of attendance, then be able to stay here during graduation was more than icing on the cake! Wonderful home to make wonderful memories. We hope to make more..

Beautiful house with delightful garden

For our family of 6 this property was perfect for our week long stay. The house is beautifully furnished, spacious, very comfortable and well equipped with modern appliances and technology. The house looks out into an idyllic secluded garden and beautiful old trees where it would be wonderful to sit in warmer months. The Old Palo Alto neighborhood is beautiful as well, and the street is very quiet. Communication with the owner/property manager and all arrangements were easy. We would be very happy to come stay again. Highly recommended!

Best reunion ever!

Here for 40th college reunion. Our stay in this absolutely lovely and comfortable Old Palo Alto home was the icing on the cake. Easy walk to campus and to downtown P.A. Through pretty tree-lined streets. Hope to stay again at our 50th reunion!

Storybook House!

The house was seriously perfect! I could have sat in the garden for days on end. It felt like adult Disney Land! We will absolutely book this property again when we travel back to Palo Alto. ❤️

Love this Home!

We’re repeat guests of this wonderful home & are grateful to have found this gem when our daughter started law school. We love the neighborhood, the closeness to Stanford’s campus, restaurants, shopping, but most of all, we absolutely love the house, the patio, & beautiful gardens. It’s perfect & we’re looking forward to our next upcoming stay!

Perfect Palo Alto Home

As always, our stay was wonderful. The home was the perfect setting for Thanksgiving with our children at Stanford. The kitchen is large and well-equipped…perfect for cooking family meals! We enjoyed the backyard and the garden was beautifully maintained. Property manager communication is always quick and easy!

A bit disappointed

I & my husband are both Stanford alums and we brought our family back to Palo Alto for a visit and stay in this house. A few things were a bit disappointed about this rental experience: 1) in the VRBO description: this house has a minimum 2 day vacancy between guest stays but we found that on the afternoon of the day before we checked in, there were guests still in the house 2) in the VRBO description (at the time of our reservation and during our stay): our reservation was for the max # person allowed stated in VRBO. As we checked in, the local manager Cathy kept asking did we got permission from the host for the # of persons staying. Within 2 hours, the host emailed us and warned us that extra charge may be incurred for extra persons. I emailed and reminded the host that the # of persons staying in the house would be exactly their max # allowed (and is the same as in our reservation) and suggested her to contact their local manager Cathy and let her know. The host did acknowledge that # of persons staying was consistent with the agreement. 3) Grease accumulation at the bottom of the oven was not clean out. 4) lint on the dryer lint screen was not completely clean out 5) when my son asked the local manager if the downstairs bedroom had AC (AC was on for the whole house at that point). She responded something to the effect of, of course, your room doesn’t get a separate AC unit and just went on to describe how to adjust the thermostat. Later on, we found out that the reason that there was no AC on the downstairs bedroom is because the room has a trundle bed and the bottom mattress completely blocks the AC vent. The local manager showed no interested in understanding the problem and moved on to what she assumed to be the problem of the lack of knowledge for adjusting the thermostat. 6) the local manager brought in a repair person to fix a blind in a bedroom right after we checked in(without asking permission from us). As we requested the repair person to leave due to our need of that bedroom for changing our clothes for an event in 15 min(we promised that we would not use that blind during our stay.) The local manager ignored our request and rushed the repair person to finish the repair. Other than these, the house was quite nice and the neighborhood was wonderful. Perhaps making sure to fulfill what it is advertised in VRBO and the training of their local manger will be needed for the clientele with such an exquisite house.
