EXCELLENT!

We enjoyed our stay at Riverdell very much! The accommodations were perfect for our annual trip to Hood River with our two grandson to enjoy the beauty of the area and visits to the fruit stands. Riverdell is equipped with absolutely everything we needed and more. The home is clean and family friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. The view is soul refreshing... even in the rain. Check-in and check-out instructions were perfect. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

A Debacle

Note: We didn't even get inside to fully understand the condition of the property. We called ahead early to understand if there were any issues with a late-night check in because we'd be heading back late from Goldendale Observatory. When we arrived late, the entry code wouldn't work. We called the emergency number and no luck. We called and called and at around 2am, we got a hold of a person who didn't have the right information. At 3am, we had to get our kids someplace to sleep and the only place we could find was all the way in Troutdale. We finally got to sleep in Troutdale at around 4am. The next day, we couldn't find anyplace else to stay in Hood River so we drove back to Seattle, forfeiting our other paid activities. Yes, we were offered the second night back at the property, but the damage was done - we couldn't trust the trip all the way back to Hood River would yield a place to stay (not to mention, we were upset). We have questions - Why hadn't anybody checked to see if the codes would work? Why didn't anyone drive to the property to let us in when we called the emergency number? Why did it take so long to get a hold of the emergency contact? The property management staff clearly don't care. Cannot recommend.

Hood River Retreat

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, well-stocked and had the most gorgeous view. We brought in dinner so we could sit on the balcony and watch the wind surfers and boats. The property was in a good location to access everything in town and close to the highway. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return.

Great spot!

The condo was very well supplied, well decorated, had a lovely deck and view and was a 15 minute walk to downtown. Would definitely stay there again. The only suggestion would be to use a code for the door, rather than a key in a lockbox.

Chairs need to be replaced in living room. House needs updating-countertops washer/dryer. You can only wash clothes with cold water only.

Perfect and quiet 2 bedroom

Great view, nice layout and well stocked. Enjoyed the property with my wife and two boys under 7. The patio was wonderful, especially if you wamt to see if there's wind on the river. We would rent again.

Very comfortable house

We were in Hood River for a family wedding. Everything about this area is just beautiful. Hiking, seeing the waterfalls and a drive up to mount Hood are a must. The house and bedding are very comfortable. The view and the breeze from the deck is sheer heaven. There were only three in our party, but there were plenty of towels. My only complaint was that the carpet could stand to be cleaned. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the hood river area.

Very comfortable home with an amazing view

We were in Hood River for a family wedding. We didn't know very much about the area before arriving, but now believe that the hood river, Columbia river gorge are some of the most beautiful sights we've ever seen. The hiking, the waterfalls and a trip up to Mount Hood and The Timberline Lodge are a must. The house, Riverdell was very comfortable. The view from the deck is outstanding. The house is located very close to downtown for restaurants and activities. The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. We highly recommend staying at this home if you are in Hood River.
