East Beach House w/ Pool 5BR Sleeps 12 Marsh Front

Water's Edge is a 5.5 bedroom beach house in the sought-after East Beach area on St Simons Island - it's a short walk to the best stretch of beach on the island, has a private pool and poolside cabana, and beautiful views of the marsh.

We're located on Ocean Rd, making us 2 blocks from the beach access point on 6th street.

THE SPACE
The back yard is a poolside paradise including a large pool cabana - lay out in the sun or enjoy the shade. If you can toss a bean bag, try out our corn hole tournament area. We installed artificial turf around the pool so there'll be no grass clippings. The pool can optionally be heated for a charge of $75/day.

Inside, the floor plan includes 3 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms upstairs.

* Master Bedroom - main level, king bed, HDTV with premium Comcast package, and private en suite bath. The en suite bath features dual vanities in carrara marble and a walk-in shower. Private French door exit to the deck and pool.

* "Grammie's Room" - main level, king bed, beautiful marsh views. The bathroom just outside Grammie's room also has dual vanities in carrara marble, with a shower/tub combo.

* "Lily's Room" - main level, off the kitchen, queen bed, shares the full bath with Grammie's Room.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms:

* Han's room - king bed and marsh views.
* J&J's room - queen bed and pool views. This bedroom also has a huge closet that contains a set of bunk beds for the kids.

We are located in East Beach, the tip of St Simons Island known for great beaches, views, and quiet streets. This is an ideal place to bike and walk when you're not at the beach or by the pool. Photos taken in 2020.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly with $200 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
