Located in the charming area of Seaview, nestled between Ilwaco and Long Beach, this home offers easy access to the beach and the famous Discovery Trail. Long Beach is brimming with family-friendly activities, from leisurely walks or bike rides on the scenic Discovery trails to exploring the downtown area with its delightful shops and eateries.

For outdoor adventurers, the possibilities are endless. Spend a day clamming and fishing, or indulge in the timeless joy of flying kites on the beach. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the two lighthouses, state parks, Loomis Lake, and the fascinating museums nearby.

At the Lazy K, you'll also find a spacious yard where you can unwind, fire up the BBQ, and watch the kids have a blast with the assortment of yard games provided. Additionally, we've made sure to equip the house with a convenient slow cooker, allowing you to plan ahead while you explore the area.

This is a very basic accommodation. It has pretty much everything you will need, but nothing more. The facility is a bit tired, the carpet really needs to be cleaned and restretchedā€”lots of dog hair from previous guests. Lots of towels (which need a good bleaching) and very comfortable beds!

We stayed for the Rod Run- plenty of room to park our truck and trailer and it was the perfect location. Close to town and easy to find.The house is dated- but clean. Nothing fancy. It has everything you need and is perfect for a weekend at the beach. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, the water pressure in the shower was good, kitchen was stocked with all the cookware I needed to throw down some good meals, the new washer and dryer came in handy and there was a coffee pot. Everything we needed.

It was clean, comfortable and quaint. It seemed to have everything you need for a getaway to the beach. We had a nice time and would stay there again.

The only real gribe about the property is the mattresses and couchs. They need to be updated, badly. Otherwise, the cottage is great. Easy to get to longview, close to Astoria, and cozy

I didn't like that it was right off the highway. It also isn't just a short walk to the beach. It was an ok place but definitely wasn't what we were expecting. It did have everything we needed and that was good! Plus the people that run it were friendly and helpful just wish we could of been further off the road.

Had everything we needed

We (two adults, 9yo, 7yo, and senior mother in law) stayed for three days of clamming. The house isnt much from the outside, but perfect for our needs on the inside. Good counterspace to clean clams, good bedrooms, although the pull out couches are unusable as beds for adults. I could hardly sit on them as all i felt were springs. Our kids did fine with them though with sleeping bags. The board games were also great. My son now wants battleship for Christmas.

Think Carefully Before Booking!

If you have low standards for cleanliness and comfort, this place might be ok for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.From the moment we opened the door we experienced a smell we can only describe as a mixture of ashtray, stale beer and dogs. Within a few minutes we started experiencing burning eyes and throats. We opened all of the doors and windows and the smell and symptoms persisted. That's when we noticed what clearly is or was a leak on the ceiling (see pic) and something that dripped down the wall and dried there. Then we looked in the bathroom and found it generally unclean with something dripping down the walls in there too. We tried to sit on the sofas to figure out an alternate plan but they're so broken down we sunk to the floor or ended up sitting directly on the wooden frame. The cushions on the chairs are so badly stained we didn't want to sit on them either.We never tried the beds because we were so grossed out by the overall condition of the place that we immediately rented another place from a different site and never went back.So if you're with a group of folks who want to drink a bunch of beer, smoke a bunch of cigarettes, clean clams in the kitchen, pass out with your dogs, and not worry too much about trashing the place, this place could be for you.If you want a clean, comfortable space for you and your family to make good memories, this is not it.

Cozy cottage needs a makeover

Close to the beach, the state park, and the towns of Long Beach/Ilwaco. Good natural lighting and air flow with all the windows and the screened front door. Excellent hot water in sink and bathroom. Well equipped kitchen with lots of pans and utensils and dishes and full sized fridge. Good sized bedrooms with queen beds and good layout. Plenty of towels and bed linens. Vacuum and laundry equipment worked fine.That was the good. Now the not so great - totally musty smell indoors because the carpet is 15+ years old, matted down, and no longer tight to the floor. Suggest high grade laminate flooring throughout the cottage - easy to clean. The subflooring needs work in kitchen for sure. New countertops would be good - current ones are stained, absorb water, and slope toward floor. The range/oven needs to be leveled. An in-sink-erator (garbage disposal) would be nice, but not crucial. The nonstick fry pans need replacement soon. Bathroom needs to be fully tiled and mildew resistant paint used on walls, ceiling, window trim. Back bedroom mattress was hard as a rock, pillows no better. Front bedroom mattress dips to the middle. Sofa beds were about what one expects - good enough for little kids, but worn springs. We didn't try tv or fireplace. Needs porch or patio. Needs nice plantings of rhodhies or other bushes to screen the road. Fine in June when we were out most of the day, would not stay there during rainy season until makeover happens - especially the flooring.

Cute little house

Nice little house and close to beach, shopping, state park, and restaurants. On busy road (highway) so you can't hear the ocean unless you get up very early. I wouldn't feel safe letting children play in the yard as cars fly by, but inside has everything you need and the beach is a 5 minute drive.

A welcomed surprise.

The surprise was it sits right on hwy 101. Despite this the traffic noise was hardly noticeable even with the windows open. Once inside the house it's wonderfully decorated and well supplied. Although a list of things not supplied would be welcomed. Ex: dryer cloths or softener.. since there is no dressers, lots more hangers or shelving space in closet needed.. other than that, we 4 old lady friends had a beautiful time.

I went down for the Rod Run so the location was great. Introduced myself to the next door neighbor who was great. They had no problems with my coming and going in the hot rod and was even there to help stop traffic so I could back my truck and trailer out of the driveway.

Labor Day Weekend

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and comfortable. You are along Pacific Highway but traffic noise was pretty minimal even on a holiday weekend. Close to the beach and just a couple of minute drive up to Long Beach and the go karts, arcade and restaurants. Would stay here again.
