This condominium has one of the best locations at Kiahuna Plantation in beautiful Koloa, Kauai. It is a ground floor unit with no stairs. It is considered to be a ā€œgarden paradiseā€ view. It overlooks the twin bridges with fabulous landscaping. Birds of paradise, plumarea, azalea and other tropical flowers are close to the lanai. Easy access to the beach with a three minute walk to the beach. Wonderful restaurants, including Keokiā€™s Paradise, Ruthā€™s Chris, Merrimanā€™s, Puka Dogs and other restaurants are close. Beautiful Kauai including Waimea Canyon, Hannepe, Old Koloa Town and other sites are within easy driving range. Poipu Beach Athletic Club with tennis, swimming pool, pickle ball and fitness center is just across the street and may be used at no charge. Poipu Beach is considered by many to be one of the ten best beaches in the world. This is unit #65 in building #12.

Great location! Loved the ground floor. New soft carpet. We didn't need A/C in January but it is available when needed. Mike is very responsive and helpful.

Beautiful location. Front desk helpful for extras. Location is perfect for beach! Unit as described and very pleasant. Especially the air conditioner! Bed is super comfy, pull out bed needs replacing as it's humorously soft and worn (teens didn't care). Owner communicative And helpful!

Great unit at Kiahuna Plantations. There was not a direct ocean view, but the unit was very well located - close to a parking lot but did not hear any car noise, close to the beach, and close to the pool (at the Poipu Athletic Club). Check in and out was easy with the Castle Resorts office. The unit furnishings were in good working condition and comparable to other units we have stayed in.

Family in Kauai

Communication with the owner was great, check in and out was good with Castle resort.The newly remodeled title on the listing was a little surprising, compared to the other units weā€™ve been in over the last 15 years. Overall the unit was a nice experience.

Best Location in Kauai

To our delight, the property was exactly as advertised and check in was a breeze. The location of the condo complex is the best location in Kauai (in our humble opinion). Restaurants and shops were in easy walking and driving distance. The beach is great for beginning surfers and the board rental on property was very reasonable. We will be back!

Perfect Beach Vacation

We had a great time here. Itā€™s a 2 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute walk to the pool. The condo is exactly as listed. Restaurants are also within walking distance. (Try the Italian place across the street!) They also had a beach chair, umbrella, mini coolers and some pool floats. Main bed is very comfortable and the sofa pulls out for a nice bed, perfect for kids. Everything was nice and clean and the AC worked great.

Nice unit

Enjoyed our 3 nights at Kiahuna Plantation. Great location and beach, pretty landscaping, good laundry facility. A/C and a good bed were unit highlights for us. Would stay again.

Lovely quiet location

We have returned to this unit a number of times, after staying in other units in various locations on the property. Building location matters a lot, and this is the best! Itā€™s a ground floor unit with lovely views of Kiahunaā€™s grounds from the lanai, and a quick walk to the beach. The building is small and very quiet. The air conditioning is a plus in the late afternoon; otherwise the breezes and ventilation features are most comfortable. We prefer Kiahuna Plantations for its beachfront location and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Relaxing and Beautiful Condo & Complex

Nice, comfortable unit, a/c works very well and cools the whole condo. Lovely patio with nice foliage/setting, native birds, as well as sunset view. Grounds are beautiful, nice example of Hawaii. Short walk to the beach. Great location very near a variety of restaurants and shops.

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed in this condo in July of 2023, and we wanted the same condo for our summer vacation in August 2024! It's in a great location, especially being on the ground level. You can just walk out from the lanai and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the premises. It is very well maintained, and we love the peacefulness. The condo is very clean and it had everything we needed for our relaxing vacation. We have stayed in other condos at Kiahuna, but this condo is the best for us!

Our unit was clean and well-appointed, with everything needed for a day at the nearby beaches. The AC in our unit was a much-appreciated bonus, making the late afternoons and evenings very comfortable.

Poipu paradise

We have stayed in Poipu 5 or 6 times. This was our first stay at the Kiahuna Plantation. Itā€™s is centrally located in the complex and in Poipu. The unit was well equipped and comfortable. FYIā€¦ there are no condiments or spices. Short walk to the beach.

Perfect place AND it has A/C!

This was a perfect little place for our son and his small family. We rented an additional unit next-door. Everyone was jealous of their air conditioning. They also have lots of extra beach items to use. They have an umbrella, beach chair, coolers, beach toys, and even a pack and play in the closet. The host was awesome to work with and super flexible with our schedule. You have free access to the Poipu beach club across the street (pool, gym, pickleball, etc). You're close to the shops and restaurants. Your 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach. Honestly, you can't get much better than that. Highly recommend!

Amazing Location

The unit worked very well for my family and I. We traveled with an infant and 6 year old. The pull out couch worked great, and there was space for a pack and play. The location was perfect. We spent most days either going to the beach or pool. There are also many places to explore on the island and this was a great launching point. I strongly recommend this place.

Perfect Location

Weā€™ve been to Kiahuna many times and this unit is in a quiet and peaceful spot - The building has just 4 units. The view of the large grass area, the bridge, the many tropical planting, trees and flowers was a beautiful backdrop while relaxing on the very private lanai. Our unit was spotless and had everything we needed - a well stocked kitchen, new appliances, comfortable bed, and even a deep bathtub. The air conditioner was a big plus. One update needed is the cabinet in the bathroom. Thereā€™s lots of extra beach supplies- chairs, umbrellas, cooler with ice packs, boogie boards ā€¦ This unit is terrific. I highly recommend and we plan to come back.

Kauai Visit

Condo is well equipped and close to BBQ's and laundry area. Five minute walk to Kiahuna beach to watch sunsets or have a beach day. We liked the convenience of walking to restaurants and having free use of the Poipu Athletic Club to use the pool and gym. Restaurant there has good food and drink. For those who are frequent condo travelers to the islands and may be used to having certain supplies in the unit kitchen, such as foil, plastic wrap, and various seasonings, note that Castle Resorts protocol is to not leave these items in the unit for the next guests to use....so if staying for a length of time or planning to do a lot of cooking, know that you will need to buy or bring these items. Kitchen has all utensils and cooking pots/pans you will need. Also has beach supplies such as beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas. Beach towels supplied by the resort at the beach hut. Comfortable bed too. Resort staff was helpful and nice. For our 10 day stay, the unit met our needs....

Great place, would return

I like the old-Hawaiian feel of this condo/bungalow. Many of the other condos are 'updated' and have lost their Hawaiian charm. A pleasant plus, it has been updated with air conditioning, not sure it was absolutely necessary in August, but made it easy to sleep at night. All the appliances were updated and in excellent working condition. There were absolutely no issues whatsoever. My adult son slept on the foldaway bed/couch, and it was plenty comfy for him.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved staying in this condo! We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation three times and this unit has been the best for our family! I especially like the location being downstairs with easy access to the short walk to the beautiful beach! The unit had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the air conditioner! The patio is looking at the twin bridge, the beautiful landscapes, and is close to the laundry room. I highly recommend this place! This unit had umbrellas, boogie boards, a cooler, and beach chairs. The communication was great with Mark, and we had no problem with check-in. We will definitely stay at this condo again next summer!

Kaua'i Bliss!

This condo is very nice and has air conditioning which was nice for sleeping. We would turn it on and close the windows so that any noise outside would not be a problem. Although it does not have an ocean view, you are steps away from a beautiful beach which we enjoyed on a daily basis!

Perfect location in Poipu

This property was in a wonderful location with lots of grass and tropical plants everywhere. A tropical paradise. There was a small beach directly in front with towels and chairs available. Parking was close to unit and lanai was open to big grass area, perfect spot for morning coffee. The freeze even had ice packs we could use for the cooler. There were beach chairs in the unit that had really seen better days, but were useable for north shore beaches. The unit itself was a good size and the bed comfortable. Although I didn't use it the tub was very deep, great for soaking. I am short and the shower head was fixed and sprayed awkwardly for me to rinse my hair. It would be perfect if they had a hand held one. The only problem we had was that the towel booth closed before we got off the beach on our last day so had to leave them in the unit. Also, we couldn't figure out how to start the dishwasher. On the plane home, I realized there is a wall switch by the garbage disposal and I think it was for the d/w.

wonderful home in paradise

This is our third time staying in this unit. We love the view of the gardens (those giant trees!), all supplies for a day at the beach, short walk to the best beach on the island, comfy bed, cosy living room, close to restaurants and shopping, walking everyday in the area, close to the heritage trail, turtles and monk seals, helpful friendly staff. plus much more.

I am a family doctor who fell in love with Kiahuna Plantation and bought a unit in 1984. We have traveled around the world but always come back to Kiahuna Plantation because we think it is the Garden of Eden.

There are many beautiful locations in Hawaii. None is as unique as Kiahuna Plantation. There are so many beautiful grounds at this property. The flowers and trees are spectacular. It is so serene and quiet. Also Poipu Beach is a spectacular beach with fine white sand. Our children grew up here and even though they are grown they love to return to Kiahuna Plantation.

This is the only Beachfront condominium complex on the south shore of Kauai. Other properties are near the beach but Kiahuna is right on the beach.
