Get Away and Relax at Our Place!
Our lake home is located on Eagle Lake, in Willmar, MN. Under 2 hours from the Twin Cities. It is a beautiful lake with good clarity and a sandy bottom. Great for swimming, fishing, and water recreation.
The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen with island, and dining room. There is a loft area
above the garage with lots of additional sleeping and living area. This loft is HEATED and COOLED!
Bedroom 1 - King size bed and room for blow up beds and/or sleeping bags on the floor
Bedroom 2-queen size bed and twin size bed
Bedroom 3-a set of bunk beds
Loft-queen size bed, couch that pulls out to a full size bed, and room for blow up mattresses and/or sleeping bags.
The lot is level to the lake with no stairs. Approximately 55 ft. of lakeshore and about 10 feet of sandy shore
(depending on lake level).
Swimming right from the shore with sandy walk out into water.
There is a dock with a bench at the end, and also a hydraulic lift available for your boat ($100 charge for use of lift.)
Fishing from the dock is a lot of fun!
There is a large patio with a bar as well as a hot tub, and a gas grill and a fire pit near lake. Nice grassy area for yard
games in the “back” yard (between garage and house).
We will provide 4 kayaks, paddle board, knee board, adult water skis, life jackets, and a few yard games.
There is a TV in the living room as well as one in the loft.
The property is furnished and includes: washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, crockpot, blender, utensils, pots & pans, dishes, gas grill, hot tub, dock, boat lift ($100 additional charge per visit), 4 kayaks, paddle board, life jackets, bath towels, and bedding.

Amazing house and Location

We were in Willmar for a week on a job, we had the opportunity to stay at this house and would rebook in a minute. Amazing property with all the amenities.

This property has a well equipped kitchen that lacks nothing. The beach area has easy access. The hot tub is fantastic. What I really enjoyed was the outdoor concrete table with the gas fire features. I was great for visiting and enjoying the lake. The grill is connected to natural gas so no worries about running out. Plenty of room for guests. The hosts were available to help with questions. What’s not to like? I loved this place!!

Wonderful Family Getaway

We had a great family getaway. Our children range from 9 to 19 and it was a great place for all. The loft above the garage was wonderful for the older kids. The beach was wonderful with sand bottoms. The hot tub was a big hit with the whole family! The house was nicely stocked. Would definitely recommend!!

Eagle Lake Stay

We had a great time in the house and on the lake. Even tho it was hot we enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings when it was cooler. We thought that parking for us might be an issue but the host allowed us to use one half of the garage. All was clean and as presented. LeNae

Our stay was great! The lake access is amazing and the kids had a ball using the paddle boat. Unfortunately the lake was quite green close to shore so swimming off the dock wasn’t an option but they could go out to the anchored diving board which was out far enough that it wasn’t as green so the kids had a ball getting there and swimming.The main drawback to this house was this: we had to have 5 of our family sleep out in the loft above the garage which was fine BUT there’s no bathroom out there and that made it quite inconvenient.If a bathroom were to be put out even in the garage we would most definitely come back to this lake house as we really liked everything else about it. Jamie and Staci were great to work with - very good hosts!

We are very glad you enjoyed your stay! Happy to know that the kids enjoyed some of the "extras" we have as well as the diving board! We love having that so close to our place! As for the lake being green at shoreline, this is something we have never experienced in our 8 years on the lake. It is due to extreme amounts of rain in the area late spring/early summer as well as an unusual amount of early summer storms to churn things up! One thing we have learned as lake property owners is that there are just some things you cannot control-one of them being the weather! As for the loft not having a bathroom, we try to be very clear about where bedrooms and bathrooms are located in the listing and hope that this was not a surprise to you. Best lake home we have ever stayed at. Best owners that went above and beyond during our stay.

Our family was so impressed by this lake home. This cabin has it all. We loved using the kayaks, paddle board, and pedal boat. It was just the perfect setting. The layout of the property gave us enough room to play yard games like badminton and volleyball. If you are thinking about coming with small kids this is the cabin to be at. We could grill, have some people in the hot tub, eat outside on the ginormous patio table and watch the kids play on the beach; all within close sight. The grandparents loved sitting in the zero gravity chairs watching the kids swim in the lake. We cant say enough about the owners. Their flexibility and generosity were above and beyond. They were so nice and accommodating before and during our stay. Thank you so much for everything you guys did for us. We would love to do it again next year.

Amazing lake getaway -- great memories!

My family (six adults, 3 kids) had a great time staying for a week in this lake house on Eagle lake. Staci was the perfect hostess and took care of every little detail. She was very responsive to all of our needs. The house is beautiful and was spotless when we arrived. We really enjoyed the free kayaks and various lawn and beach toys/games that were provided, as well as the hot tub, which everyone loved. The beach is sandy and very soft, and the lake water is very clear and enjoyable to swim in. Also, there is convenient shopping nearby (Walmart, grocery stores, etc.). One thing to note is that one of the bedrooms is located above the garage, which is a separate building from the main house. There is no attached bathroom or sink, so whoever stays in that room has to come back into the main house to have access to the bathroom. However, the bedroom is air conditioned and was pleasant to sleep in. One additional thing to note is that the house uses well water which sometimes has a strong sulfur smell. However, the fridge water dispenser has a filter and tastes great. Overall, we thought the house was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again!

You were awesome guests and left the house looking very clean and tidy. After your visit we met with a local water softener company and replaced the softener with a much larger unit as well as an improved filtration system which will help with the sulfur smell and handle the water usage much better.

FAMILY GETAWAY

GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL. THE KIDS SPENT MOST OF THE DAY EITHER IN THE WATER SWIMMING BY THE DOCK OR CATCHING LITTLE SUNNIES RIGHT FROM THE DOCK. AFTER THE CHILDREN GOT SETTLED IN FOR THE NIGHT, THE GROWNUPS WOULD UNWIND EITHER IN THE HOT TUB OR AROUND A NICE FIRE AT THE FIRE PIT. IT WAS A NICE 4 DAY VACATION AND WOULD BOOK THIS PLACE AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. ONLY SUGGESTION I WOULD MAKE WOULD BE TO TRY AND GET A TOILET IN THE GARAGE LOFT.

Great experience

Easy to work with and use. Communication and care was exceptional. Great outdoor setting with table and view of the water. Would recommend for any group. Especially with nice weather to enjoy the outdoors together.

Amazing Property!

We spent Labor Day weekend here with friends. The outdoor area was the highlight, fun bar, hot tub, paddle board, paddle boat, kyacks and more! You will not be bored! Owners were great to work with! Loft was fun for the kids to sleep and hang out in! We will stay at this home again!

Family Vaca at Eagle Lake.

We had a wonderful time. I don’t know how the experience could improve. We loved the outside bar. We ate our meals out on the bar. The fire rocks were great. There were so many water toys. Our guys are 4 6 7 and 11 They loved the knee boarding the most. The house was well stocked very clean. Thank you so much

Beautiful lake home away from home

Our family met at this beautiful lake home because of its location between 2 weddings over Labor Day weekend. We LOVED the sandy beach area to build sand castles with our grandkids, spent some time kayaking and also enjoyed sitting around the large outdoor bar visiting late into the evening. The owners were quick to reply to my questions and have LOTS of things available that made packing and traveling a distance and cooking/entertaining a family of 8 adults and 3 small children a lot easier! I highly tecommend this home!

Awesome 4th of July getaway!

House and location was perfect for our vacation. House was very clean and has a great layout. Property owners were very responsive to our questions and concerns . The AC above the garage wasn’t working, and they were quick to get it fixed the next day . Overall we felt the property offered something for everyone . We would absolutely stay here again .

Great location and beautiful lake

The lake is beautiful and the location was perfect to relax and invite family over to visit. We had some great family time playing UNO and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The house had everything we needed.

This was a great Lake Home to make wonderful family memories!

This Lake Home is beautiful and very clean! It had everything we needed for our family vacation. We brought jet skis and had a GREAT time with them on the lake. We fished off the very nice dock and enjoyed the sandy beach. We also spent quite a bit of time in the wonderful hot tub. The patio area and the large table indoors were perfect places to play games together. Staci and Jamie had details all ready for us on the counter when we arrived and answered the couple of questions we did have over HomeAway messages within minutes! I would definitely recommend this wonderful Lake Home and we would definitely come back!! Thanks for everything!

This was a very nice property. The pictures don't lie.

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather didn't cooperate that much, but that's life. Our only grip would be the sulfer smell of the water. The water was fine from the fridge.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and happy to hear that the pictures are an accurate depiction of hour lake cabin. We really enjoy our place and it makes us happy when others to enjoy it as much as we do! You were excellent guests. We apologize for the water having a sulfur smell. After your stay, we had a new and larger softener and filtration system put in which will help with this issue. It is the lake, and well water, so it may not be exactly like our water at home, but it will be much better for future stays.
