This brand-new stone cabin sits on a quiet, shallow cove that flows into Lake LBJ. While not located inside Log Country Cove, you’re only a short drive away and enjoy full access to the same waterfront amenities, including kayaks, paddle boards, mini golf, a rope swing, sand volleyball, boat rentals, and more.
Perfect for families, couples, or small groups, this single-story home sleeps 6–8 guests with two king bedrooms and two sleeper sofas.

The place is cute, just a little small. It has the most well stocked kitchen I've seen in a while. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The living room seating was not very comfortable, especially the 2 large wooden chairs. Also, there is not a table conducive to playing games with 4 people. I don't see how 8 people could stay here comfortably, even if 4 are children.Overall, it is a nice place for 4 people.

We absolutely LOVED it!!

My husband and our four kids absolutely loved this house!! It felt like we were at home but even nicer! It was so nicely decorated and the kitchen was supplied with anything we could have ever needed. The beds were SO comfortable. Absolutely recommend Longhorn Cove Cabin. We already booked again for next year!!

Amazing stay!

I’ve never stayed in a place that was so beautifully decorated and well stocked! We enjoyed just relaxing and using the amenities. One day it rained and it was marvelous to sit out back and enjoy that! Would definitely come back.

Peaceful lovely cabin.

Clean, relaxing, & peaceful. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Decorations in House were awesome. Loved sitting on the back porch early in the morning & late afternoon watching the small creek. Perfect place for older kids but because of steps leading to creek not good for the little ones. Husband & I had no complaints & would rent long horn cabin again. Just needed a hair dryer

Fantastic Wedding Weekend Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived Friday afternoon 6/2 & stayed through Sunday. At first we got lost trying to find the house. The grass & wild flowers are so high, we didn’t see the street sign. LOL I was also disappointed we were not inside the resort. Once we found the house, we we blown away. Gorgeous home. Beautiful inside & out. Immaculate. It was so quiet & peaceful. We couldn’t see any neighbors. Drinking coffee on the patio both morning’s & listening to the wildlife was wonderful. I can’t wait to stay there again. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Great little cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin and decor is beautiful. The amount of lights it has is great. There are even little night lights throughout the house. The washer and dryer is accessible and conveniently located. Ther is plenty of parking in a shaded area up front. The living room fold out couches are great but not for sleeping on. Since there are no curtains it is bright in the morning. The AC works great, gets cold if you want it to. It is not in walking distance to the other log country cove cabins. The map makes it look like it is but your down a county road off from the other cabins. I would recommend it if you don’t have a party staying at main log country cove facility. We had family at lost moose and we couldn’t easily walk over. It was a drive. It’s a gorgeous cabin and very cozy!!

Great Cabin...minus the Internet

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall cabin was very nice and clean, but found it separated from the rest of the resort and difficult to initially find. There is internet available, but I found that my phone service was much better as their wifi was very slow. But you really don't come to the hill country for the internet. Overall, it was a nice getaway.

A very modern and clean place to stay

Reviewer Comments: Stayed here for a three night business trip with a few people and was very satisficed with overall condition and location of the property. We would stay here again if needed. The only slightly negative comment we had was no extra blankets and sheets were available to make up the pull out couches, which we needed so we had to improvise. other than that, a very nice place.

Master bath draining issue

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The master bathroom shower was not made to drain correctly. Water was all over the floor after a shower and eventually pooled behind the opened restroom door. This is a slipping hazard on the slick concrete floor and I'm glad we noticed it when we did to soak up all the water.

Family Reception Anniversary

The only issue we had was when showering it leaked all over the floor, but nothing laying down a towel couldn’t fix. This house is beautiful on the inside and so well maintained!
