The stunning property is on an acre and a half & has 150 feet of private waterfront. 15 minutes from the picturesque town of Brockport, 30 minutes from Rochester, 60 minutes away from Niagara Falls and 75 minutes from Beautiful Letchworth National Park. You can launch your boat at Bald Eagle Marina a 5 minute drive or take a 5 minute drive to the sandy beaches Hamlin Beach State Park. Like to fish ? Salmon Charters are available minutes away at Eagle Creek & Point Breeze marinas. Take a short drive to Rochester and visit the Strong National Museum of Play, Seneca Park Zoo, George Eastman Museum or enjoy Shopping at Greece Ridge Mall or Eastview Mall in Pittsford. They definitely set the bar high here with this place! The amenities, the views, the comfort, anything we needed we had! Family came over for dinner and everyone let us know what a great place weā€™d found to stay at! Nothing but compliments from the communication to the comfort of home!

We stayed at the Lake House for a family vacation with 6 adults and 2 dogs. It was absolutely perfect. The house had everything we needed, it was in great repair, clean, and comfortable. Anne was super communicative, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a gem!

Beautiful Lakefront Weekend

Recently stayed here with friends and we had such a lovely time. The house was well stocked, very comfortable and we had plenty of space. The view of the lake from the backyard was the show stopper. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets and had a great relaxing weekend. Anne was super about responding to any questions quickly and helped offer some good tips on things to do locally. Really great house and we had a really great stay.

Excellent property with all the amenities you could ask for! Stunning setting, lots of room indoors and out and everything you could need while here was very thoughtfully set up! This place is exceptional!

At first, we were a little hesitant to rent this house because, quite frankly, the pictures looked too good to be true. I am happy to say that the entire description is spot-on! The house is super clean, expertly decorated, and well-equipped with towels, linens, a gas grill, portable fans, 2 tvs and the best part was the LAKE view.... AMAZING. The setting is spectacular. We enjoyed swimming, visiting nearby quaint towns, and rented a pontoon boat one day at a local marina. We watched the sunset each night. In fact, we would make sure we were home by 8:15PM...just like people used to do when tuning in at night to their favorite radio program. This house is the ultimate break from the hustle and bustle of the work week. Hated to leave!

Lovely Lakehouse

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse. The area is perfect for escaping the city, being a fairly rural area. The property itself sits right on Lake Ontario, with spectacular views, especially the sunsets. On windy days it feels like youā€™re in New England on the ocean as the waves get huge. Really spectacular! On the calm days, the lake is great for kayaking, swimming, and floating about. Do keep in mind that this part of the Lake Ontario shore is rocky, so getting into the water requires climbing down some rock steps and would not work if you have mobility issues. We had no problem. The Lakehouse itself is cozy, clean, and well-stocked. Everything we needed during our stay was available and then some. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. Mark even stopped by to check on us. Some special things worth mentioning are that the hosts had firewood on hand for us for both the outside fire pit and the inside wood burning stove, all the little essentials for meal preparation were available, such as spices, flour, etc., and there are plenty of board games to play. The kids loved that. There was lots of seating outside, and the grounds were very well-maintained. And I have to mention the views again! Breathtaking. And they can be enjoyed not only when youā€™re outside, but from inside as well. We really had a lovely time.

This is a hidden gem!! We will be back!!

This was our second time staying at the lake house. The view is breathtaking. The house is so cozy and welcoming and fully stocked with everything you need. The addition of the blackstone grill was fun to cook on. We were able to swim in the lake and it was so nice. We brought rafts and just floated all day. No need to ever leave this house! We will be back!

Perfect lake house getaway

We spent 8 great days at this super well-stocked lakehouse. There was nothing that was lacking but if there was, I am sure that Anne and Mark would have taken care of it. We were amazed at the coffee makers: Mr. Coffee, Keurig, Nespresso, and an electric hot water kettle. And there were coffee pods and tea bags already there. That made our first morning so very enjoyable. The appliances are all new and in perfect working condition. If you are going to make a lot of meals there, the only thing you might want to bring is some Glad containers for leftovers. The location is in a small, quiet neighborhood on the lake but there is a large grocery store 20 minutes away. Access to the Erie Canal Trail is also about 15 minutes away; biking the trail is a great way to spend part of a day. There are also many golf courses around. During this time of year (summer) there are fruit stands everywhere selling locally grown fruits and veggies. The views of the lake and the sunrises and sunsets from the back lawn are spectacular. There are 2 kayaks available at the home. There are some rock steps to the lake that make it a bit difficult for one person to carry the kayaks to the water but we brought inflatable SUP's with us and they were easy to get to the water. We hated to leave this terrific place. Anne and Mark are great hosts - don't hesitate to stay here!

Paradise

I have NOTHING bad to say about this place at all. It truly was home away from home. The home is so comfortable and inviting, it just feels like home. The views of Lake Ontario are breathtaking, this place is absolute paradise. We met the neighbors and they are super friendly. We arrived to find the house 110% furnished with everything you could possibly imagine. Everything was clean and neat. The lake house is absolutely beautiful inside and out. We spent 99% of our trip sitting outside relaxing by the lake. We saw lots of wildlife, boaters, and jet skis. The included kayaks were awesome and my children loved them. Mark and Anne were amazing hosts and genuinely some of these nicest people I've ever met. I was shocked while driving up that they called to check on us to see if we needed anything. I spoke with them many times during our time there, they even gave us dinner suggestions (the tavern 19 is a must). Anne was so sweet and thoughtful and left a beautiful welcome basket with things for smores for our kids. During our stay we visited Niagara Falls and it was just a short drive away. We explored the area and have fallen in love with Kendall, Brockport and the surrounding areas. I have absolutely nothing bad to say. We found our new paradise and here all this time I thought it was a beach in Florida (which I love don't get me wrong). If you have any thoughts of staying here, do it!!!!

Beautiful Lake House

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this lake house. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the availability of wood for fires and things like oil, vinegar and spices for cooking. We found the place to be extremely relaxing and perfect for special family time (fires, barbecuing, games, etc). And the sunsets were breathtaking! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Slice of Heaven

Anne and Mark truly have created a warm and welcoming place to share. They are outstanding hosts and have a wonderful local couple (Gretchen and Jimmy) to assure you and family/friends make the most of your time here. Setting is breathtaking in everyway. If you are lucky, the wind and sea may kick up a notch and make you feel you are at the Ocean (bonus!!!) . If you are especially fortunate you may even have the privilege of experiencing a majestic Bald Eagle fly by, or experience dozens of Monarch Butterflies on their migration - AMAZING. The State Park and Beach are a very short drive up the shore and is lovely. Don't bother packing food and drinks for the haul from wherever you come. Do a curbside pickup from Wegman's in Brockport 25 minutes away on your way in, and good to go! We did do a take out order from the BBQ place in Brockport after grocery pick-up and it was excellent (who really wants to cook on check in day? Not me!) But on ensuing days, meal prep- a breeze in the extremely well equipped kitchen or out on the grill (grill lighters on living room antique 'coffee table' in the Travel Canada 'book'.) The beds, bedding and pillows are dream worthy, towels top notch, and must enjoy an incredible shower outside if you never have had the joy of doing so! The Lake House in Kendall is soooo return worthy I am (almost) hesitant to submit (for purely selfish reasons), but the experience deserves full time bookings year round. I have no doubt this spot is amazing anytime of year!!!

This house on the lake is absolutely amazing! Itā€™s exactly as pictured. It was the perfect quiet get away we needed. The owners allowed us to check in much earlier then planned which was SO appreciated as it added a full day to our trip and allowed us to get settled in. The attention to detail was amazing and it truly comes with anything you may need! Our girls loved the endless board games available for our use, the hammock, the outdoor shower and our nightly bon fires. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great stay!

We stayed at Anne and Mark's lake house while attending a family reunion in Rochester. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable, the sunsets spectacular, and the fire ring was great for cooking Zwiegles hot dogs and smores while enjoying family time. This spot offered us a quiet reprieve from an otherwise busy schedule.

Amazing city break

For the second time we have visited this beautiful property. We enjoyed it very much, specially the grounds are simply magnificent. June is very agreeable, the cool evenings reminded me of my time in the province of Quebec sitting around a fire pit! We spent most of the time outside and every evening we also enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets. The water was still a bit cold to my taste, but our dog didnā€™t seem to mind. The neighbors are very friendly, we got the chance to socialize a little bit with them and we even got some asparagus from their own garden. The owner are very nice, friendly, quick to respond and they want you above all, to have a good time at their lake house and to feel comfortable. Our only complain is that we should have booked this place longer! We were sad to leave, which is I guess, a good sign that we had a good time. Perfect family getaway

From the beginning Anne & Mark had great communication and answered any questions we had. The property was clean and renter friendly. The backyard was perfect for having our family over to kayak, play corn hole, have a campfire, and enjoy stunning sunsets. Our son took a nap in the hammock under the trees and our daughter entertained in the beautiful kitchen. This property had it all including a HOT water outdoor shower. We had great conversations with the neighbors who were very friendly. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you Anne & Mark for sharing your home with us!

We are very pleased with the experience, to be able to disconnect from the urban life to have relaxing nights and enjoying beautiful sunsets and dawn scenery. Very comfortable beds with lots of space, totally equipped kitchen, comfortable, spacious bathrooms, great picnic and firepit area facing the lake. We were able to keep warm at night. This would be a great place to stay during the summer, we stayed during mid spring so the weather wasn't as pleasing but was still amazing. Only downside is that we had no phone signal and communicating was difficult even when connected to the internet. But if you're looking to be remote then it's the ideal place.

Peaceful stay at the lake

We spent two weeks at this lovely lake cottage and we enjoyed It very much. The house itself is nice, comfortable and of course the lake is the star! I loved the view from the living room. The garden is huge, with lots of big old trees and it has an easy access to the lake. My husband enjoyed the outside shower very much. We enjoyed seeing many flocks of migrating geese on our second weeks in October. Quite a spectacle. The whole area is beautiful, charming and very quiet. I liked the fact that the property allows you to bring your furry friend. Our dog definitely enjoyed the huge yard and swimming in the lake more than us, as at this time of the year the temperature was a little bit chilly at times. We also loved the fire pit outside and the wood burning stove to keep the house nice and warm. It also gives a nice ambiance. In summer this property must be a dream, because of the big yard and the huge barbecue. On our last day, it was very warm and it was simply beautiful. We got a taste of how it is in summer. The hosts were very responsive, attentive, very hands on and quick to help in case of any issues. We are very grateful that they let us stay at their lovely lake house. We go back home feeling relaxed and with nice memories. Thank you. Blanca & Mirko
