Beautifully renovated, bright and comfortable two bedroom with a queen bed in each room, and an additional queen size pull out Murphy bed. All hotel quality linens and towels are included. 750 square foot carriage house in Bradley Beach with hardwood floors, central air and high ceilings with fans. A large bathroom with with shower and an additional outdoor shower. The space is tastefully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi and new flat screen smart TV. Outdoor patio area & table with cushions & umbrella and gas grill. Located just three blocks to the beach and three blocks to town. Washer and dryer in the garage right below the apartment, that is filled with Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, buckets & shovels~

Great Place - close to beach - everything you need!

This was a perfect spot and close to beach, grocery store, restaurants and AP boardwalk. Quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. Beautiful wood floors, great shower, pretty decor. Beds were so comfy, there were bikes to ride, grill outside, chairs, beach towels and anything else you need for the beach was at my fingertips! Outdoor patio & shower. Elke was super easy to reach and quick responses. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Fantastic

The property was outstanding. The main house and carriage house were fully equipped very nicely, everything from the beds and linens to the kitchen appliances were top notch. The open kitchen and family area were spacious and comfortable. The beach was a short walk. I could go on and on but I’ll simply say the owner and her property are fantastic.

Exceeds Expectations

The owner reached out before our stay to confirm details. She is INCREDIBLY detail oriented. Her place is very well equipped with everything from beach chairs, towels, kitchen items, bikes, detergent, toiletry items etc. Our packing was much lighter than we have had for similar trips because she offers so much. As we were traveling to the house, there was an issue with the air conditioning. She was aggressively working to solve the problem before we arrived and communicated about developments the entire way. After resolving the problem quickly, she also installed a wall unit so we would be comfortable until the compressor was active. The location of the property is convenient between the beach and Main Street where many restaurants are. The host offers wonderful recommendations that did not disappoint. We chose Bradley Beach because it was close to our daugher's new apartment who had just started her first job. We were hoping a vacation in close proximity might give us a chance to see her even if she didn't yet have vacation time. As it turned out, she had a sports related accident that required medical treatment. When we discussed this with our host, she offered to let us stay an extra night so we could be there for our daughter's surgical consultation. She is genuinely a good person and the perfect host. You will not be disappointed with a stay here.

Wonderful girl's trip

I rented the Carriage House for a girl's week in Bradley Beach and I think it just might the highlight of my summer! The space was open, airy, and very clean (and with a baby, cleanliness was very important to me). Elke was such an attentive host and provided us with everything from bikes to bath towels to bbq recommendations. I would definitely consider coming back next summer!

FANTASTIC

The property and general area were perfect for a family friendly non tourist vacation! The place was beautiful and very clean. The house amenities were super convenient as it made traveling with kids much easier to not have to bring our own beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels and so forth. The town is extremely walkable which was nice. The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, shops, and mini golf. I would highly recommend the location, but especially the home to anyone looking for a fantastic get away! The property owner went above and beyond to ensure we as a family had a wonderful trip! She was super quick to respond and was willing to answer ALL of my crazy questions before and during our stay. She was extremely welcoming. 10 out of 10 for sure!

408 4th - A fabulous property

We spent a wonderful 5 days in Bradley Beach earlier this month and were very pleased with our rental choice. We found the carriage house at 408 to be extremely clean, well appointed and maintained. Conveniently located - a close walk to both the beach and town. Elke is very detail oriented and is always accessible for any questions or concerns. Would definitely rent this property again!

Wonderful Stay at 408 on Fourth Carriage House

I spent a wonderful week's vacation in August 2020 at Bradley Beach with my daughter and her two friends in the beautiful carriage house at 408 Fourth Avenue. The location is perfect--easy walking distance to the beach one way, easy walking distance to Main Street the other way. We had no problem finding street parking right in front of the property at any time of the day. The carriage house is perfectly lovely--well designed, very clean, with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Our host, Elke, was very friendly and attentive, immediately responding to any questions we had and taking care of any issues that came up--e.g., one of the bicycles had a flat tire and she took care of it right away (went out to get a new inner tube and did the repair) to make sure we had it at our disposal for the rest of the week. We were very happy with our stay here, and would love to come back again!

Bradley Carriage House 7/20

My family and I had a wonderful stay in the carriage house. The house is extremely clean and spacious. The open layout made it very easy for 4 adults to stay in. The owner supplied you with everything you need. She Checked in to make sure everything was ok. Backyard was a great place to Bbq after a day at the beach. The owner thought of everything to make it convenient to cook downstairs. The garage had a butcher block and refrigerator in it. Couldn’t of asked for a better stay!

Great Stay at 408

Spent a week at 408 back house with my wife and daughter in August. Elke was a great host from start to finish. The house has all the amenities for a comfortable stay at the Jersey Shore. Entire unit was well appointed and clearly assembled with care, bedding, beach accessories, and access to bicycles especially appreciated. Bradley is a nice town with a beautiful beach and for us the proximity to the renewed Asbury Park was a plus for dinner, music , pinball and overall Jersey Shore frivolity. See you next year!

Wow! This is just such a lovely place, we'll furnished and appointed and immaculately clean. Only 3 blocks to the beach. There are bikes, chairs umbrellas and beach badges. The town is family oriented. Quiet and clean with plenty of shops around.. This location, rental property and owner are ideal.

Business Beach Trip

We could not have been happier that we stumbled upon this property. We had a work trip about 25 mins away and this home was the perfect space for 3 adults. The property was clean and a close walk to the beach. Entire property is absolutely gorgeous! Elke was tremendous in working with us in extending our stay as well as providing great suggestions on where to dine at. Already looking to book another visit!

Perfect weekend getaway. Renovation is new and the space is very clean. Nice light from multiple large windows in the great room. Elke is a wonderful host, helped us problem solve our escape from Hurricane Florence and offered unobtrusive support. The beach was great for a Sept visit.

Our experience

The property is lovely. It is perfectly situated between the beach and the town and easy to access either. It is clean, well-kept and has everything that you would need for a vacation. The kitchen is new and well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable and if you need a good night sleep, this is the place for you. It is quiet and curfew at 10 is observed. Elke was easily available when we had questions. She made us feel very comfortable and respected our privacy.

Great property - can't wait to come back!

We rented the carriage house over the July 4th holiday and loved it! The entire apartment was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated (it looks exactly like the photos on VRBO). It was a hot and humid week, but thankfully the central air conditioning worked very well. The owner is extremely responsive, which also helped when I had questions about how to use the TV, etc. Although we could not use the driveway (it is reserved for the front house), we found parking quite easily since the property is a few blocks in from the ocean. I also appreciated the towels, sheets, beach chairs, umbrellas and laundry in the garage for our use. It was everything (and more) that we would need for a great vacation. Definitely planning to stay here again!

Weekend Getaway

408 onFourth was exactly what we were looking for. We came into town for a family event, and the Carriage House gave us an awesome home away from home retreat. The location was perfect and it was such an added bonus to relax at the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. The owner couldn't have been nicer, and her attention to detail was very much appreciated.

We loved our stay at 408 on 4th in Bradley Beach.

We loved our stay at 408 on 4th in Bradley Beach. We rented the main house as well as the back house. This worked out perfectly for our family. We had 3 couples and 2 kids. My wife and I stayed in the master in the main house. The master has a big walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and massive shower that can also be a steam shower. Everything we needed was there as if you were in a nice hotel. The kids stayed upstairs where there are 3 beds. It is a really cool space for the kids with the sloped ceilings that follow the roofline. The 2 couples stayed in the back house which has its own family room and kitchen, so the couples were able to have their own space. The main house kitchen is a real gourmet kitchen with everything you would need. There is even a butler's pantry where the owner had charging cords for the phone. The family room in the main house was great for a gathering spot. It had a big tv and dining table as well as a sectional. The location was great. A couple blocks the one way to the beach and a couple blocks the other way to some restaurants as well as a grocery store for whatever you needed. My kids want to go back already. We would definitely rent here again.

WONDERFUL stay near the beach

I could just live here! It's so pretty, cozy and welcoming. I unfortunately worked a lot and barely got to enjoy my time there but it must be the perfect place for the summer especially with the beach a few blocks away. Very quiet neighborhood, I barely saw or heard anyone on the block. I hope I can make it back with my husband and daughter to relax and enjoy the beach one day. It's a beautiful place that has everything you need! Elke was immediately responsive to all texts!
