This spacious property, dating from 1880, stands in 15 hectares of wheat fields, on the west bank of the Orb river opposite which rise the ramparts of Béziers, crowned by the majestic rose window of the cathedral. The elegant backdrop to the terrace garden, the pool, and the orchard/meadow beyond, and the luxuriant shrubbery, palms and trees, including a fine plane tree, make of this “domaine” an oasis of restfulness.
You can spend hours sun-bathing, swimming in the pool or reading in the shade. The swimming pool is 64 m2, depth from 2.6 ft (0.80m) to 9.2 ft (2.80m), entered by steps and with safety ledge all around is very large within a nice environment. The swimming pool faces southwest for a maximum sun. The house has eastern exposure, so you can have breakfast in the sun, lunch in the sun or in the shade as you prefer. And in the evening you can treat yourself to a candle-light diner in the garden (night lighting available).money to my guests wich is reflected through their many positive feedbacks upon living. À la campagne, mais à seulement 300 m à vol d’oiseau de la cathédrale de Béziers dont on aperçoit la silhouette à travers les arbres. Superbe vieille demeure principale d’un ancien domaine vinicole, avec des plafonds à 4 m de haut, des grandes pièces et un jardin verdoyant avec des grands arbres protégeant la façade du soleil brûlant de l’été. Un platane magnifique et en pleine forme (les racines quasiment dans l’Orb). Il nous a fallu 5 personnes se tenant par les mains pour en faire le tour !Idéal pour une réunion de famille. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Unglaublich schönes Landgut nahe der Stadt.

Das Landgut aus dem 19. Jahrhundert besticht durch ein riesiges, parkähnliches Grundstück. Die Anfahrt erfolgt über einen etwas holprigen Schotterweg, das Anwesen liegt aber sehr schön und abgeschieden am Fluß Orb. Hinter einem repräsentativen, ferngesteuerten Eisentor befindet sich der Innenhof mit den überdachten Parkplätzen. Durch ein weiteres Tor kommt man zu der Ferienwohnung. Die Räume im Untergeschoss (Wohnzimmer und Küche) sind sehr großzügig. Die Küche riecht ein wenig modrig, außerdem entdeckten wir Mäusekot im Spülschrank. Auch wurde das Geschirr von unseren Vormietern nicht besonders sauber in den Schrank gestellt. Die Ausstattung war sehr umfangreich und für alle Zwecke gerüstet (Austernmesser!). Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich u.a. ein mittelgroßer Fernseher und ein weiterer großer Esstisch (sehenswert sind die dort ausgestellten Bilder aus der Anfangszeit des Gehöfts). Der Pool ist wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen, sehr großzügig und dank Umzäunung kindersicher. Durch die Nähe zur Stadt findet man alle Geschäfte (große Supermärkte wie E.Leclerc oder Carrefour, im Nachbarort Maraussan befindet sich eine sehr empfehlenswerte Bäckerei) in weniger als 15 Minuten mit dem Auto und die Stadt selbst bietet neben Markthallen, Galeries Lafayettes und zahlreichen Boutiquen einige Sehenswürdigkeiten, für die sich ein Ausflug lohnt. Den urban geprägten Strand von Valras und Vendres erreicht man innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten, den Naturstrand von Portiragnes innerhalb von ca. einer halben Stunde. Zurück zum Haus: Die Bäder (eines im EG, eines im OG) sind nicht mehr wirklich modern, auch haben wir einen umfassenden Insektenschutz (Aufgrund der Nähe zum Wasser unerlässlich) vermisst. Auch das WLAN war außer in der Küche sehr instabil. Die Betten waren aber bequem, das Babybett und die Wickelauflagen lagen schon für uns vorab bereit und wir bekamen genügend Handtücher. Auch fanden wir gut, dass es zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten sowohl innen als auch außen gab und die Räume mit zahlreichen Stilmöblen ansprechend eingerichtet waren. Das ganze Geländer ist sicher umzäunt. Insgesamt haben wir eine sehr schöne Zeit verbracht und können die Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen.

désolée pour les crottes de souris quand je suis passée il n’y en avait pas. Il est vrai qu’il a fait exceptionnellement chaud « canicule » et la moindre nourriture ou couche sale oubliée attire les bêtes. Pour le chemin je ne peux rien faire malheureusement c’est un inconvénient des propriétés à la campagne. Pour le wi-fi je viens de placer un extendeur wi-fi cela devrait mieux fonctionner . je suis heureuse que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour et vous remercie de l’avoir recommandé . je vous accueillerai avec grand plaisir l’année prochaine si vous voulez revenir . Excellent séjour

Merci à Nathalie pour son chaleureux accueil. On s'est tout de suite sentis comme à la maison. Tout était propre, en bon état et comme décrit dans l'annonce, voir mieux. Nathalie nous a donné de très bon plans que ce soit au niveau des restaurants ou sites à visiter dans les alentours. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour la prochaine saison :)

Très agréable séjour

Très agréable séjour dans cette grande maison de style italien . J’ai apprécié le charme de cette maison ancienne avec de beaux volumes et bien équipée. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et les adultes également . Nous avons pris tous nos repas dans ce jardin magnifique . Le domaine est bien situé pour aller aux plages ou faire des visites. Nous reviendrons en famille ou avec des amis.

Great, amazing, wonderful place for a getaway!

My family and I stayed in Beziers here at this wonderful, clean and breathtaking home in the countryside but just a couple of minutes from the beach and not far from Montpellier! This is an ideal family getaway for.a relaxing and beautiful vacation. Fully equipped, anything you need and so much space and wonderful pool and terrace! I highly recommend in staying here!

I was born in Béziers. My entirely family is from the region. My house is a family house. I know all the properties around here and most of them belong to relatives or extended family. I am aware of the local supply as far as seasonal rental is concernded and can honestly claim to offer good value for money to my guests wich is reflected through their many positive feedbacks upon living.
I live in an independent part of the house. I have been hosting holidaymakers for 20 years; most of them are english nationals, therefore i am particularly catering their needs and wants. I make my guests feel like they are at home and contribute actively to the sucess of their holidays.

Nathalie’s beautiful house Date de séjour
We stayed 7 nights in Nathalie’s beautiful house and everything was as we expected. It was clean and nice and Nathalie was a pleasant hostess who helped with everything from oyster knife to the shortest way to the best croissants. The pool was amazing and was cleaned every morning – before a fresh morning swim. The garden is beautiful and a large tree in front of the kitchen creates a romantic and aesthetic atmosphere, which I have not seen anywhere else. Yes, the kitchen is actually a whole chapter for itself - totally charming. I would highly recommend the house, the place and the host - and I hope we are returning in the summer of 2019.
