If you’re looking for romance, then “The Lake Room” is for you. The canopy king size bed is perfect for a romantic get-away. Add in the private balcony, facing the lake and it doesn’t get any better than this. Enjoy the cute, “lakey” vintage and antique decorations for a fun ambiance. Beautiful private bath, (with a bathtub/shower) in shades of blue, offers a relaxing visit. Don’t forget to add the locally made bath products to your bath to complete the experience.

Wonderful Stay

This property is in a great location, right on the lake. The room was large and wonderfully furnished. The balcony with sofa provided a relaxing view of the water. The breakfast was individual and delicious.

Lake superior!

hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and we had a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast was tasty and we loved the coffee. Hope to go back soon and stay longer to enjoy the beautiful lake and the views.

Weekend Getaway Back to the Lake

We grew up on Lake Martin and hold it in a special place in our hearts. Kathy has made a beautiful B&B that I highly recommend to anyone but especially those you love the lake. Our stay was wonderful and our host was lovely - and cooks a great breakfast. We will go back, hopefully many times. Don't miss out on this location and experience! M&D, Pensacola, FL

Had a Wonderful Stay!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast so we weren’t sure what to expect. We had the best time! The room was very comfortable, clean, and private. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Kathy prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us too. She and Dave went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed 2 nights and are planning to go back. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful room overlooking the lake!

Kathy was very accommodating. She called to see what time we would be there and made sure the room was ready for us early! Beautiful room looking out over Lake Martin! She made the process so easy.

Great Little Hidden Gem

The place is nestled in a little cove away from most of the water way traffic with plentiful of out door space to enjoy the water and the rest of nature. If i ever want to stay on lake Martin again i wouldn't pass on this place without a good reason. The host was very attentive and made things super easy. The place clean and had a quaint lake charm. 5 out of 5.

Amazing first experience with a Bed Breakfast

Kathy and her husband were extremely sweet and helpful, Kathy called me before our stay to answer any questions I had. Her house was beautiful and clean and smelled amazing, the bedroom was just as described with a gorgeous view of the lake. Kathy made us individualized breakfast in the mornings which we could eat on the patio overlooking the lake. Plenty of chairs around the varies decks to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine. This was our first time in a Bed Breakfast and we will be back to Paradise on Lake Martin

Kathy is Wonderful

My husband and I had such a great time staying at Paradise Bed and Breakfast. We came to town for an Auburn game and stayed at the B&B for the night. Kathy didn't upcharge for game weekend and it was only 45 minutes away from the stadium. Kathy asks what time you want breakfast/coffee ready in the morning and has everything delicious and ready to go. We had great food and conversation and wish to come back next time we are in town!

3 night mini vacation

We enjoyed or 3 day mini vacation! David and Kathy are excellent host couple. We have no complaints only compliments. We were able to enjoy delicious breakfast on the lake.

Kathy was an amazing hostess, coming out to greet and welcome us to her beautiful home and serving us well while we were there. The history of Kathy's journey there and furnishings were very interesting and personal. The other guests delightful as we shared breakfast on the enclosed balcony overlooking the lake.

Perfect spot to land

We enjoyed our very quick stay here. We had a conference in Auburn on a popular game weekend and no decent hotels were available. We decided to go a little further out and stay on the lake. Our room and bathroom were very private with a great view. Kathy was a wonderful host and as we didn't have much time in the am due to the conference she sent us on our way with the best fresh fruit and muffins. Great place and great price.

Beautiful Property

This was our first experience with a bed & breakfast at Lake Martin. It exceeded any expectations that we had. Kathy was the perfect, most gracious host ever. We felt welcomed from the moment we got there until the moment we left. The house Is on a very quiet part of the lake that was new to us and we loved it .. much quieter and less crowded than the Stillwaters area .. we look forward to a return visit.

Lake Martin getaway

We had a great time at this wonderful B&B at Lake Martin. We so enjoyed the afternoon on the dock- the ability to swim right there was something we had not expected but thoroughly enjoyed. We found the hosts, Kathy and Dave terrific. thank you

Very nice bed and breakfast

Friendly host and fantastic house made for a very good experience! House is right on Lake Martin. Easy to get to. Our room was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Several amenities created a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The breakfast was superb and served with a side of friendliness! I have zero complaints about this place. Met some nice people, had a fun boat ride on the lake! Local restaurants are good for dinner too.

Dave and Kathy welcome you to our home, Paradise Bed and Breakfast on Lake Martin. We hope you will enjoy your visit in our cozy home as much as we love living here. We are fortunate to incorporate many of our parents’ and our childhood memorabilia and antiques, which creates a warm, inviting, special feeling. The firepit in the living room adds a special, unique touch, too.
Because we are located on Lake Martin, we have what you’re looking for, whether it be romance and relaxation or adventure! To begin your stay, we offer a complimentary Happy Hour at check in. For those seeking romance and relaxation, we have private balconies and a screened porch with beautiful views of the lake. The house is located on a slue, so it’s a very quiet, peaceful setting. Champaign and/or an evening wine and cheese boat cruise can be included for an additional fee. For our adventurous guests, a paddleboat and 2 kayaks, a variety of floats and fishing equipment are available for fun on the water. For the fishing enthusiasts, Lake Martin is well known for its bass and striper fishing. If you choose to bring your own boat, we have our private dock that you can tie up to. For all you Auburn fans, “War Eagle”, we are an easy commute to any Auburn events.
Each room includes a high definition, flat screen TV; refrigerator; coffee service for coffee and tea; and wi-fi. All the rooms, (except “The Loft”) have a private bath.
A complete, homemade breakfast will be served either on the deck overlooking the lake, in the screened porch facing the lake. Some of the dishes may include Dave’s renowned smoked brisket and pork butt! If you’ve never enjoyed brisket smoked the Texas way, you don’t know what you’re missing. (We recently moved from Texas)
