Magnificent Lakefront House Near Yosemite

The Yosemite Lake House is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath home located along the shores of the Marina Beach Cove-- steps from the Pine Mountain Lake Main Marina. Ideally situated and thoughtfully furnished, this home is perfect for hosting family & friends, exploring the outdoors, or staying in to relax and recharge.

Pine Mountain Lake is a gated community build around 6 miles of shoreline. It is in the historic town of Groveland, CA. which is 45 minutes from the Big Oak Flat entrance to Yosemite and about an hour and a half drive to the Yosemite Valley.

Whether you are here to visit Yosemite National Park, enjoy the lake and other community amenities, or just have a quiet place to relax and recharge, we hope you enjoy your stay and find what you’re looking for. This home is perfect for family gatherings, romantic weekends away or quality time with friends. We've found our home away from home at the Yosemite Lake House and we hope you do, too.

Please Note:

The Pine Mountain Lake Association charges a $50/per car parking fee for all short term rentals. This fee will be collected at the gate by security when you arrive.

Perfect for Lake Access

Great location for getting on the lake. Very relaxing deck in the trees. One of the most resposive hosts.

We loved our stay at the lake house, beautiful location with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Loved the fireplace and a variety of outdoor sitting areas to soak in the breathtaking views. Joe the host was amazing and an absolute pleasure to deal with, 5 stars all round, cannot fault anything and would highly recommend ❤️

Easy, nice house in gorgeous location

The checkin process at this house was super easy and the location is great. Pine Mountain Lake is nice for quiet paddles, and we were able to drive easily to some nice hikes in National Forest lands with waterfalls. We didn't go to Yosemite, but that was fine by us.

Our family really enjoyed the stay at the Magnificent Lakefront! The access to Pine Mountain Lake was literally just few steps from the house. We spent all day on the lake paddle boarding. It was very peaceful and relaxing! Thank you so much Joseph for hosting us!

Excellent Lakeside House

This house was awesome for our family! It has lots of space for 6 people and was clean. The owner is very responsive to questions and provides all necessary details. It’s a short walk down to the lakeside edge where they provide a paddle boat, canoe, and kayak to use, or to the swim beach which the kids (and adults😀) love. Very quiet and peaceful area. We will be back!

Really is Magnificent

Just a pleasure through and through. Will definitely be back if Joseph would have us. Access to everything. Everything was labeled fir easy understanding. Very quiet neighborhood and location. A little over an hour to Yosemite Valley. Definitely worth every penny.

Unexpected Thanksgiving winter wonderland!

My husband, 3 year old son, mother, mother-in-law, and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at the house. The house was comfortable (a little chilly at times) and well equipped for all of our needs. The house is on the lake and very close to the marina, but we couldn't access the lake with the boats from the house due to the level of the lake. I imagine it is higher in the summer. Joseph was very responsive to questions both before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The house location is great with lake access and walking distance to beach, cafe, and marina area. The owner was very accommodating and responsive as we had a few issues when we arrived. The house is cozy and a good size but needs a good deep clean and some things fixed. Bring your own coffee and filters none provided. We didn’t put any food in the kitchen/pantry because they hadn’t been emptied out in awhile. It was super hot when we were there so we never turned the AC’s off but we also didn’t turn on the ceiling fans because they were covered in dust. All the bath mats were dirty and no new ones left, and we woke up one morning to ants all over the kitchen counters (and no cleaning supplies). The wrap around deck is perfect to hang out on but also needs some TLC. All of that being said, the house IS on the lake and for the price it was worth it.

Lake Life at it’s Best

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful lake house! The location is absolutely perfect—right on the water, with a beautiful lakeside area directly behind the property that our kids and dog loved exploring. We especially enjoyed the peaceful back deck—ideal for morning coffee and evening wine.The house is just a quick 2-minute walk to Marina Beach, the café, and the lake store, making everything super convenient. We stayed for three nights and found the home incredibly well-equipped. From extra towels and life jackets to a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed (including an electric kettle and rice cooker), it made cooking every night a breeze. The pantry even had those essentials you tend to forget—like salt, oil, and spices.The layout of the home was perfect for both relaxation and fun. It stayed cool and comfortable throughout our stay, with plenty of space for adults and kids to enjoy games and quality time together. The kids especially loved the lower level—it felt like their own private hangout spot, complete with a mini fridge, games, and a TV.The Pine Mountain Lake Community is truly a hidden gem in the mountains—warm days, swimmable water, and stunning forest views all around. We’d absolutely recommend this home to our friends and family and would love to return in the future!

Magnificent

The description says “Magnificent Lakefront House Near Yosemite”. Well that is exactly what this place is. I have rented many vacation homes in the last few years and this one is by far the absolute best. The house itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated. It is very spacious yet cozy - especially with that beautiful fireplace going. What really impressed me was how well equipped the kitchen, actually the whole house was. There was never a time when I said, I wish I had brought something from home. There were more than enough plates, glasses, cups, silverware, utensils, all types of pots and pans. Even the bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner (and I’m talking good stuff). The towels were huge, very soft and also plentiful. The bedding was comfy too with lots blankets in the closet if needed. As far as the outdoor decks, they are huge with lots of outdoor seating along with cool lighting and a large grill. Loved that we saw lots of deer in the back yard too. Overall, I loved this place and want to come back next year. Yes, it is magnificent.

Great waterfront cabin for summer retreats.

This is a great cabin that I've visited multiple times. It's conveniently located next to the main public beach. Though it's a waterfront property, the lake level does get a bit low during the winter months. There is plenty of comfortable furniture in the house for everyone to gather together or lounge in private. There is a fireplace in the main living room as well as another one in the game room downstairs. Plenty of firewood available to burn in the winter. All the necessary appliances are available to prep dinner as well as a clean functioning grill on the deck. A couple of water toys are also provided for the summer - paddle boat, kayak, and a canoe. Great place - will return in the future.
