Superb apartment for rent in the village of Duquesa located on the Costa Del Sol in Manilva. free WIFI

1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (each bedroom has its own bathroom with hydro-jet bath or shower. A living room with modern furniture and leather armchairs, a sofa bed for 2 additional people, a Free Wi-Fi, a flat screen Smart TV and a home cinema system, a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washing machine and ironing board. A 2000 Watt hairdryer is also at your disposal. The cleaning are included in the price.
The apartment is located in a 24-hour secure complex and has 5 swimming pools and a tennis court.
The marina, beaches, restaurants and shops are a 3-minute drive from the complex. Animations are organized along the beaches during the summer period

Overall it was good only thing was we booked for 21st and when we went for the keys he had just booked it and they needed to clean the house so we couldn't get the keys till the 22nd. Had to drive back to Gibraltar and go the next day. Good thing we weren't that far away. Imagine if you had come from far away got flights etc.

The apartment is absolutely perfect it was clean, comfortable, quiet, tidy and well presented. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay. Parking in the garage was easy, we have a long car and my husband had no problems in parking!The balcony is of a good size, eating for 6 and loungers to chill. The large swimming pool is just on the other side of the road at the entrance to the urbanisation.You can walk down hill to Duquesa Square for food or drink and the Port is also reachable by foot (20 mins) lots of restaurants and bars, unless you are very fit a taxi is available from the port for 8 ish.We would recommend a stay here

Very pleasant stay!

The appartement is in great shape, only a few minutes from the beach, and in a safe neighborhood. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and always quick to respond. We had a great stay and we’ll definitely book it again!

Fab stay

We had 19 nights here and were not disappointed. The apartment is better than the pictures give it credit for. Well equipped, very clean, helpful staff in the office, owner very quick responses, great neighbours, pool area clean...overall an excellent property.

Very nice apartment, it has everything you need. The terrace is large and sunny from early morning. The environment is very nice. The pool is fantastic. Communication with Estate Duquesa went very well. I spent a wonderful vacation with my wife and children. Thank you very much for the wonderful time spent. I recommend it, we will definitely come back there.

Beautiful apartment in good location

The apartment offers a lot of space and has almost everything you need. The access to the underground garage is short and comfortable. Walking to the port is about 20min - and after a few beers an Uber costs about 5 euros, if you want to avoid the way back ;-) We would have been happy about more hanging options for towels in the bathrooms, and maybe at least 1-2 dishwasher tabs for the start, but that's criticism on high nivou ;-) Would come back any time!

Really lovely holiday apartment

We had a really great stay - the apartment was as described and well appointed. The pool was lovely and short walk from our apartment. The gardens are gorgeous and well kept. Check in was easy - even though we arrived very late we got our keys and were on our way without issue. We had a car so the location was great for us. Not sure how it would be if you didn’t have a car. Parking was convenient and having a lift near the assigned space was handy for bringing in luggage and groceries. Communication with our host was quick and helpful and we had all we needed for a great 2 weeks of sun and relaxation! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Car a necessity.

The property was fine but 2 km. up the hill and a car is a necessity. The tv was all in Spanish so no evening entertainment if you stayed in.

Fantastic throughout!

The property was exactly what we were looking for, modern appliances and FAST WiFi. Apartment was clean and comfortable throughout! The only thing I would add to the property was a cafetiere as the pods for the coffee machine were not sold at the local supermarket.. but don’t take that away from the fantastic week we had and look forward to returning. The owner was fast with returning messages and answering any questions we had. Thank you again!

Thank you for your appreciation. I think the pods are sold to Lidl along the N5 at the Sabelinas exit. Next year I will be equipping the apartment with a Senseo coffee maker. It will be a pleasure to see you in my apartment next time. cordially

Beautiful Property

We had a fantastic week in the property. The whole experience from start to finish was first class. We arrived after office hours and our keys awaited us as promised in the key box. Getting in to the apartment was very easy. We really appreciated the lift with our luggage and shopping. Having a dedicated parking space in the garage too was a massive bonus. The apartment was exactly as described and just like the photos. We all thought the main living room seemed even bigger than the photos made it look! The apartment was very clean and beds very comfortable. The terrace was a great size too. The property is up a hill. We were aware of this and it didn’t worry us at all. We happily walked down the hill to the marina and caught taxis back up with change from €10. We hope to be back again and definitely would recommend the property. Thank you for a great stay.

Good place to relax and enjoy the good life

We absolutely loved this apartment in Manilva. It has everything you need to prepare your own meals and there are several supermarkets within a few minutes drive. You can also find a selection of restaurants near the port, also about 5 minutes by car. The smart TV supports Netflix, Amazon Prime, and TuneIn. This means you have access to a wide collection of movies, series, and music. (Netflix and Prime require you to have your own subscription) Internet works like a charm, the connection is fast and spotless. Like others already said, the terrace of the apartment is covered and there's no direct sunlight. As non-sunseekers, we loved this. If you would like to sunbathe, the community's swimming pools are only mere steps away. There is also a padel court (no tennis court) and a golf. Regarding things to do in the area: we would suggest day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, and Marbella - Puerto Banús. There are also some great hikes you can do. Our favorite hike was the vulgar hike that starts in Casares. Like others already said, you do need a car. We did walk down and back up a few times. It is possible, but it is probably not something you want to do at 10 PM after dinner.

Hillside apartment

The apartment has a spacious balcony that faces east so you can see the sea and you get the sun in the morning for breakfast. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are good. The 5G WiFi is very fast with both upload and download speeds over 290Mbps great if you have a subscription TV service because there is no English language TV and WiFi is essential in this area as data, particularly by Movistar, is virtually nonexistent. There are five swimming pools on the gated development and it is all very well looked after. The apartment is about 95m above sea level so nice views from the general area and it is about 1.2k downhill to the nearest bar on the urbanization, and a steep climb back. It is about 2.1k to the port of Duquesa (where English is widely spoken is about 25 minutes walk), here there are many bars and restaurants that cater for most tastes, also Arkwright's Stores, which is open 08:30 to 22:00 and 365 days, is brilliant for odd bits of shopping. If you wanted more local food then the area of Castillo de Duquesa is a short walk south of the port, wherever you eat it is worth asking to see the 'menu del dia'. We enjoyed our two month's stay, the apartment was good value, and communication with the owner is excellent. The agents, who can be found in Castillo de Duquesa, are also helpful. We felt the apartment is little remote and because of the distances involved unless you enjoy walking, a car is essential.

O apartamento está em óptimas condições de limpeza e conservação. Os únicos pontos menos positivos estão fora: A saída da garagem é muito inclinada e dificulta imenso a entrada e saída dos carros O piso externo da piscina é muito perigoso

realxing holiday

the apartment is excellent, exactly like the photos. you have access to the 5 pools which are never over crowded. i would suggest an extra change of towels be left in the apartment. the apartment was very clean apart from the kitchen, the oven was not cleaned from the previous guests, there is a small grill in the cupboard and as it wasn't cleaned correctly as soon as you open the cupboard there is a really bad smell of fish. the rest of the apartment is spotless and in very good conditions. I have np problems in recommending this apartment and we look forward to returning again. having a private parking space is a bonus.

Thank you for your 5 stars and positive comment. I regret that you came in the apartment with a bad odour. I would like to answer on the dirty grid problem. The housekeepers is doing a difficult job in this period of high season where customers follow each other quickly, they do their best to ensure that the apartment is flawless but can not check if all the dishes are clean unfortunately. I take this opportunity to remind that it is the tenant to do the dishes properly before their departure and not the cleaning lady. best regards

Apartment very beautiful

The apartment is very beautiful and has all the conditions such as wifi and air conditioning to spend a good stay. Loved the terrace, you can make meals outside. Everything went well, from lifting the keys, to the friendliness of the Duchess village staff. Swimming pool is great and calm. It is a very quiet place. The owner is very helpfull, answered all my questions.

I arranged this apartment as if I lived there while putting all the necessary comfort. With the years, I would even install a quality home theater system and other amenities to make the apartment even more comfortable, especially for long term rentals.
I want the customer who comes to the apartment to feel at home and lacks nothing.

Our choice is focused on this apartment for three reasons.
1) The setting of the Duquesa Village with its 5 pools, 1 tennis court, and these Andalusian style apartment blocks made us feel like in a holiday village, you really feel at home.
2) The quality and finish of the building, these large windows, as well as its terrace of 18 m² overlooking a 180 ° panorama of the mountain, houses typical styles of Andalusia, and the sea is really charming.
3) proximity to the marina, beaches, shops, restaurants and other major cities such as Estépona, Marbella or Malaga offers plenty of tourist opportunities.
