Welcome to Our Home Away from home. Our condo is located in the LaBrisa complex which is a GATED COMMUNITY across from Smather's Beach.
ALL PHOTOS ARE CURRENT AND ACCURATELY DEPICT OUR SPOTLESS HOME.
RENTAL CALENDAR SHOWS NIGHTLY RATES- discount given for 7 or more nights.

Our tropical oasis is waiting for you to kick back and enjoy. Perfect for large families (the master bedroom has 2 full sized beds (that could accommodate 4 people), second bedroom has a queen sized bed, living room has a sleeper sofa.

Fully equipped kitchen makes dining out an option rather than a necessity (gas grill
on site for barbeques). Wi-fi (bring your lap top), 3 flat screen TV's keep you in touch. You don't have to leave the property to enjoy the heated pool, whirlpool spa, sauna, tennis court, lounges and covered patio. Pool and whirlpool are available to guests 24 hours a day, great to take a midnight swim!

Step across the street and onto famous Smather's Beach (voted #6 of Florida's 10 best beaches by the travel channel)where you can relax in the shade of a palm tree or join in the many activities available. Smather's Beach is the largest in Key West; it boasts chair and raft rentals, food vendors, snorkeling, sailing, parasailing, paddleboarding and kayaking.

If you want a pretty ocean view and are willing to put up with some inconvenience, then this may be a good find. GOOD STUFF: view from porch & master BR is pretty-ocean/palms/tiki hut (chair rentals avl). Smather’s beach across street is shallow/calm/ some seagrass, pretty sunrises. Unit was clean for the age/condition. Good seating areas/layout for family. Easy access with key codes/backup keys. Lots of beach towels. Good large appliances incl. w/d, Covered parking spot. Elevator available. THINGS TO KNOW B4 U GO: View comes with some street noise, Some electrical outlets/extensions malfunctioning, Wifi/main tv not accessible even after service- had to use hotspots, TV remote in bedroom did not work, Water max temp lukewarm, 1-cup keuriq only w/no ground coffee insert, No glass pot avl for larger coffee maker, No notice that bath soap, shampoo/conditioner is not supplied, Beach supplies limited to a few chairs/noodles/toys. Limited eating out w/in walking distance, 1st floor unit-some minor neighbor noise, For us, communication was very poor, even arriving on a business day. After 2 questions to owner going unanswered we were informed the next day that owner was cruising and not avl. (would have been nice to be pre-informed of alt. contact), Maintenance was sent into the unit w/o notification (for the wifi that was not fixed) & no other communication, other than a small note about wifi, has been provided at the point of this review.

The best part of this place was the view! Ocean view all day, everyday! Once we figured out what building we were in, the rest was easy to access. Pool was amazing and it’s a quiet location. Unit was a bit dated, shower floors were slippery, and fan chain in front bedroom took a little work to access it but overall a great place to stay. We really just slept there but it was perfect for us. Also, being right across the street from Smather’s Beach was another bonus!

Location to the beach was great…right across the street. Wonderful views from the balcony. Easy access. Carol was very responsive anytime we had questions. Overall stay was 5 stars and we hope to stay again.

Very important: Get an Uber. The taxi guys tried to charge 34 and it was walking distance. Carols condo is the 1st building when you enter the driveway gate. You will get a plastic wave key. The instructions say you get a “one time” gate code. It works the entire time you are there. I thought one time was only once. You will also get an elevator code and three keys.There are several walk throughs that one key opens. One key goes to the stair well. That is important to carry with you in case the elevator is out (two of the other complexes elevators were down). I don’t know what the third key was for. It was definitely worth the price. Needs a little updating but it is across from smathers and there is a corner sandwich shop within walking distance that I loved. Two bed and two bath. It was close enough to everything. Just get a bike or a skooter. The maintenance guy did come out. I couldn’t figure out the hot water but it was on me. He was super nice. Carol was great too. Very responsive Go have a blast. I will be back.

The view was amazing. It was nice place, but very dated and definitely not as clean as I expected. The property could use a deep cleaning.There were very nice beach chairs that we were able to use and the pool area is fantastic! Property was quiet and peaceful at night. We enjoyed the balcony and view the most. The host answered my questions very quickly and check in was easy. Overall, we had a great trip to Key West.

Excellent Location and Stay

The location, just a short walk from Smathers Beach, was excellent. The pool area was incredibly relaxing and added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. It was conveniently close to everything, yet far enough away to provide a peaceful, quiet atmosphere.

Great family spot across Smathers Beach

Great location. The condo was spacious and had everything we could need and more. Almost brand new beach chairs and only 50 steps to the beach would stay here again.

Million View

Having to go get keys and password at a different location is an inconvenience. Once we got to Century 21, we were told that we didn’t have to go there for pick, that we could have gone straight to the rental . The keys and passcodes were at the rental location. Apparently the owner and the Century 21, who services the place are not on the same page. Different information was given to us and we made a trip unnecessarily. Oh also there was a conflict with the check-in time. The owner said 2pm and Century 21 said 4pm. We didn’t have a vehicle so it was a Huge Inconvenience. The place needs updates but was clean. For 4 days it was it was decent. Would I stay here again? Yes I would!

Fantastic view

Stay was great. Weather marvelous. Location and view, exceptional. Place could use some updating. Outreach to owner was less than expected. The day before checkout, I wanted clarity on key drop off and received no response. On day of checkout, I asked again and received no response. When dropping keys at designated area, doors were lockrd and no lockbox. I had to go back to the unit to leave keys, and still nothing from owners. It was disappointing.

Nice location, beautiful view. Enjoyed

Good location for us. 2 mile walk to Duval St. uber easily accessible. Grocery Store, sandwich shop, Mexican restaurant, and sports bar a few blocks away. Check in required us to go to different location to pick up keys. A negative for us. Also air conditioner would not cool below 78 degrees last 2 nights. Beautiful property we enjoyed

Best beachfront in Key West

Absolutely loved this place! Owner very good at responding! Location location location! Right on Smathers beach! We went to couple other beaches and weren’t impressed plus we saw none with properties overlooking the ocean like ours! Check in was lil tricky at first but we figured it out! Definitely will stay here again on our next Key West vacay!

Great stay even in bad weather!

Even with the storm, the location and amenities at the condo were great! We were able to get Uber rides easily, got in the pool, went to the beach and enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony every morning. Just the right size for our group of 4 on a girls’ weekend!!

Perfect size and location for our group

The condo was perfect for our group. The bed set up worked great for us. The condo was clean and comfortable, located in a great spot for all of our activities during our stay. The view of the ocean was great from the balcony. Very happy and would definitely recommend this location!

We visited Key West in 2001 and fell in love with our 'American Carribbean Island'. We are now retired and enjoy vacationing every February. We invite you to La Brisa, our 'home away from home' to experience all that Key West has to offer. We have found that the apartment is great for the two of us and has plenty of room when our family visits. We love the luxury of dining on the terrace-the view is just spectacular!

We chose Key West as our vacation location because it within a gated community, is across the street from Smather's Beach, and yet it is situated in a quieter part of Key West. Duval Street is only 2 miles away and can be accessed by, foot, bike, electric car, public bus (stop is in front of the gate) and a wide selection of ubers and taxis. The next property in this area is the new Margueritaville Hotel. It is here that you can slip away to enjoy dinner or a drink without needing any transportation.

The island is only 2x4 miles; however it offers everything you could want in an island vacation. Everyone in our family (including grandma, our children and their children) make wonderful memories in Key West.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

LaBrisa is a gated community located across the street from Smather's Beach (voted #6 of Florida's top 10 beaches). You can actually stand on the terrace and see the rest of your family enjoying the beach. There is plenty of parking within the gated community to insure a safe vacation. Everything is right there; food vendors, chair rentals, parasailing, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, jet skiing, volleyball. A 4 mile walking and biking path runs along the beach and the ocean shore. The heated saltwater pool and hot tub are right there; plenty of lounge chairs both in and out of the sun. It is open 24 hours/day. Nothing beats a swim and jacuzzi on a warm night! A newly refinished tennis court is also on site. Getting down town is easy; a bus stops right outside the gate; it is a 20 minute walk and a 10 minute bike ride.
