Community also features the wonderful Downwind cafe and relaxing Girasole Spa. Freshly remodeled beautiful kitchen with Thermador appliances. All the comforts of home but in beautiful central Florida. Close to all beaches and 5-10 minute drive to shopping and fine dining and night life. Located in gated community with 24 hour patrolled security. Pilots will enjoy private airport with taxiway to home. Airport is able to accommodate helicopters to large jets. Property is located a hour from Orlando International Airport, 30 minutes from Sanford Airport and 20 minutes from Daytona Beach Airport and 20 minute drive to Daytona International Speedway and Airport. Also, a 1 hour drive from all Orlando theme parks. Private air show most Friday nights in this exclusive community. Aviation fuel located within the community perfect for bikers. GOLF CART available for an additional fee of $65 per day. Perfect for large group of friends or families.

Vacation

This property is absolutely beautiful and located close to all the popular attractions in Port Orange and Daytona Beach. The house was very clean and well maintained including the pool. It is located in a gated community which provides excellent security. Entry was effortless with all the Gate Guards being very friendly. But most importantly the property owner gracious and responsive. We had a great stay and recommend it for your vacation.

Solid property for stay

The property was good for the short stay. The interior was dated but clean. The 3rd bathroom disconnected from all bedrooms and carpet in one of the bedrooms needs to be replaced. The mattresses were very soft. The kitchen area was clean. The pool area was nice but some of the pool area needed some attention and updating. It was nice the owner allowed pets.

Great place with one small issue

We all enjoyed our stay very much. The house is exactly as advertised. The pool was fantastic. The only issue was the stove top did not work for our time there. This was unfortunate but did not make or break our experience.

Nice Spruce Creek home

The house was perfect for my wife and 2 daughters. We enjoyed being able to watch planes overhead and in the alley/taxiway. The house was very clean, and easy to keep clean with the hardwood and tile floors. Appliances are all new and well kept. The pool area looked like the pool guy just left before we got there. My daughter enjoyed the pool. The house is so much better than staying near Spruce Creek. We will be back.

A great place for a large family, with plenty of room for everyone to still have a space of their own. Near local shopping and located in a safe area. The host was helpful and accessible to answer questions.

Daytona Trip

We had a great stay and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. The host was very accommodating, even working with us for a late Checkout as our flight back was in the evening.

Let me explain to you our stay. 8 friends (ages 30-40) came in town for a wedding. We literally SLEPT at the house. Had in total a 12 pack of beer and 6 pack of coke total for drinks at the house for our stay. This man, on top of a full cleaning fee, robbed us of extra out of the security deposit claiming "trash all over the floor, beer cans everywhere, coke cans everywhere, dirty dishes all over" Absolutely ridiculous. We followed every instruction for check out. All of the trash emptied taken outside, all garbage picked up, all beds stripped, load of laundry started, thermostat increased to 80, dishes all in dish washer (except we cleaned and allowed to dry on counter the larger items that didn't fit in dishwasher) ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS he withheld any additional funds. And he refuses to provide any sort of proof of receipt that an additional 150 was required to clean this house he is accusing we trashed. It's comical. Don't rent from him. He was sketchy to begin with and made us call him for instructions Vs just sending formal ones over. He clearly doesn't rent this out often and he is just trying to make an extra dime by wrongfully keeping your security deposit.

Happy House

this house was well furnished, clean and located in a great gated community. The area was quiet, well kept and groomed. plenty of space inside the house. Watching the planes was a special treat. The entire experience was a real pleasure. we plan to return next year.

Great place for pilots, family and friends to stay

Awesome place for family or friends to gather to share some great time together. Being inside the airport community was great for our group. It was very close (easy walk) to our planes and the airport restaurant. The property manager was very responsive to any of our questions. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to enjoy the pool (which looked awesome) but spent most of our time while at the property sitting around the large dining room table catching up with old friends which was the purpose of our trip. If we have another group get together we will definitely book again.

Neighbors were difficult

Upon arriving backing our trailer to unload our motorcycle i heard a neighbor screaming "you have a right to protect your property" to a child who was looking curiously at what we were doing. Um, just your guests checking in. That lead to days of fear that some psycho was going to misconstrue anything we were doing and harm us. It was not fun to watch your back the entire time. Additionally although we were coming for bike week, trailered our show bike, no one told us we couldn't keep the trailer at the house. We had to find and pay for trailer storage during the week (not cheap)! The house was semi clean. Bathrooms had mold in the showers and under the toilet seats. Our check out instructions were to clean pit the fridge. When we arrived the fridge was full of all opened condiments and drinks. We had to clean the fridge and bathrooms before even using them. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels but the outside chairs were all moldy and not usable. Thank God we brought our own beach chairs. The beds were horribly uncomfortable too. The mattresses all sunk in the middle and the sheets were cheap. The bathroom layout was ridiculous. We thought 3 bathrooms would work but there were 4 bedrooms near 2 bathrooms. One bathroom was clear by the kitchen only got used during the pool time. There were dead bugs everywhere. Glad they exterminate but no one swept before we arrived, obviously. Being close to the bike week festivities were nice but that's about it!

Cost per day was expensive for the house, it also rained everyday. The cost for the golf cart was ridiculous at $200 for 2 days will never go back to Florida to a rental home I can stay at a 5 star Hotel for much cheaper

Would not stay here again

Love the location.. Loved the house but the house was extremely hot and was set and controlled by the property owner. The house was infested by roaches. Between how hot the house was and the roaches we slept on the couch and chairs. Our trip was miserable because we couldn’t get comfortable and then our kids were worried and could not sleep because of the roaches.

You will Love The Relaxing atmosphere! Perfect Stay!

The stay was awesome. The house sits in a flyers community that is very quiet. It is close to shopping, local sights and the beach but far enough out to feel secluded. The pool was perfect. Stay here and you will be very Happy!

Beautiful and relaxing

We had a party of 8. Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. Beautiful house with all necessary amenities. Pool was beautiful with a wonderful outside area to mingle.

Great Place

This is perfect for a group of 5 or more. The neighborhood and property are great and communication leading up to our stay was easy. If you’re looking for a nice home for relaxing before and after going to Daytona this is ideal. It’s about 25 minutes away, but perfect for events in Daytona. (We actually used Lyft to avoid parking issues in Daytona). Also not too far from my favorite area restaurant, Rose Villa in Ormond Beach.

Graduation accommodation

This house was a great location for our family of 8 to stay while in town attending our daughters graduation from ERAU. We had everything that we needed available to us. The location is very nice and quiet with shopping and good restaurants nearby.

Peaceful Stay

We enjoyed the stay at this home. It has several areas for larger groups (8 persons max per owner rules). The pool was secluded and private. Many exits from different rooms to the pool. Very spacious and comfortable.

Spruce Creek March 2022

Pluses: Very clean, private and well-kept home in upscale "fly-in" gated community--perfect for the pilot. Shopping and restaurants are a close drive. Beautiful, heated outdoor pool, completely fenced. Home has a bedroom "wing" away from the living areas. Master bedroom opens to pool area and has a newer remodeled en suite. Keyless entry makes coming and going easy. Kitchen has just about everything you need. There is plenty of places to walk your pets. Grounds are well kept. Property owner is very responsive to your requests and reached out to find out how our stay was. Our security deposit was returned in a timely fashion. No bugs or critters noted. Cons: Most of the decor and interior furnishings were outdated (80;s style). At a minimum the master bedroom should have a king size bed of a regular height. The queen in this room was so high (about my waist high and I'm tall) that I could not sleep in it. The kitchen can use a coffee pot that accommodates both grounds and pods. I didn't find any games or puzzles for entertainment, so that would also be a good addition. All in all this was a very comfortable stay.
