Family-friendly cabin in Chimney Hill, just 15 minutes to Mount Snow and 35 minutes to Stratton!

Relax in our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with access to Chimney Hill’s indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, clubhouse amenities, and hiking/snowmobile trails. The home features a fire pit, fully equipped kitchen, and two cozy living rooms. Sleeps 8 comfortably (King, Queen, Full + Trundle, and 2 Twins), with a Pack ’n Play available for little ones.

Perfect for skiing, hiking, or unwinding year-round. Enjoy a warm mix of mountain charm and modern comfort, with easy access to trails, lakes, and Wilmington’s shops and dining.

The Space

Welcome to Martin Ski Barn – your perfect Vermont escape in the charming Chimney Hill community. This bright, family-friendly cabin sleeps up to 8 and is thoughtfully set up for relaxation and fun throughout all seasons.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils — everything you need to cook and gather around the dining table (seats 6) after a day outdoors.

There are two living rooms, each with a gas fireplace and Roku TV (Netflix & Prime Video included). Downstairs, enjoy the renovated den with hardwood floors, Edison-style lighting, an air hockey table, and a toy box with games and books for kids.

This is a find. What a treat! I will definitely stay again. Convenient to Mount Snow, the club house was fantastic, the house was great. Relaxing space, well equipped for cooking, and very comfortable rooms. 11 out of 10.

Comfortable house, plenty of space for 5 adults. Great location for a late summer vacation - hiking and kayaking options within easy reach. Village with shops and restaurants (and creamees) a couple of miles away. Enjoyed the outdoor firepit and stargazing at night.

Great place to stay

We stayed here to ski at mt snow. It is super close to mt snow. Everyone was friendly and the host was very responsive. Place had more than enough space for our family of 5. We will definitely book this place again. Lots of snow to make skiing great.

Summer getaway

Nice house. Clubhouse nearby for rainy days. Beautiful, quiet serene location. Wards Beach at Lake Whitingham was like an oasis. Vermont is so beautiful, wherever you go.

Great Mountain Home

Great property in a beautiful mountain setting with community amenities and quick drive to several ski resorts and lots of hiking. The community amenities have pool/hot tub with games accessible to the VRBO renters.

Awesome Property

The house has a great layout with multiple living rooms when groups want to watch different shows. The air hockey table and fire pit are awesome from when the group wants to hang out alt together! The owners are very responsive and really nice people. I highly recommend this property.

House was fantastic.

This was our second stay at the house. We really like the house itself. It is cozy and easily fit the 7 of us. A great place to stay for a ski weekend. There were some driveway issues, but I guess that can be expected when it snows in Vermont, and I was well aware of the slope of the driveway. The owner was ultra responsive and sent us some driveway help twice.

Awesome place to stay, close to the ski areas

Just perfect for a group looking to ski. Wonderful setup of bedrooms with all the stuff you need. Two floors, spacious kitchen, big family room with air hockey. The each floor has two bedrooms which works great for people going to bed at different times. Each bedroom has its own thermostat, a nice touch! Everybody got great sleep. Several nice big couches as well. TVs and really fast Internet and wifi. Kitchen has the stuff you need to cook whatever you want. Refrigerator is very nice and so is the dishwasher. The driveway is a little steep. I could see it being an issue if it was icy and you didn't have AWD. Wasn't an issue for my group. I'll say this, I've got another snowboard trip coming up and I'm going to book it again!

Warm, spacious, clean. Very functional.

We stayed here for four days of early season skiing at Mt. Snow. Two small families (2 kids and 1 kid). One family used the two bedrooms upstairs, and the other used the two bedrooms downstairs. House worked very well with this arrangement. Lots of place for the kids to play: outside playing in the snow, downstairs playing board games, using the air hockey table, going to the club house to swim in the pool. The kitchen is great. Well stocked and more spacious than it looks in the photos. We made a Thanksgiving meal and the kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked. Really appreciated that the stove, fridge and cabinets were clean and the the fridge was completely empty when we arrived. Quick 15 minute drive to Mt. Snow. Nine minutes to downtown Wilmington. Mud room was great. Enough space for everyone's shoes, boots and slippers. House is warm. Powerful and capacious hot water heater, everyone could take a warm shower after skiing. Did not use the outside fire pit, but it looks appealing. Maybe next time. We would come back here without hesitation.

The place was perfect for our quilters weekend!

Other than the beds being alittle uncomfortable it was a pleasant stay. The owners were very responsive and nice. It's a big place and the sunrises were amazing. Overall I we would definitely rent from them again.

Weekend ski trip.

Perfect for our family getaway!

The location and space of this home were perfect for our family of five (children ages 4, 6, and 9). In fact, we could have certainly had a larger group staying and had plenty of space. The home is equipped with just about anything you might need while staying. The kids enjoyed looking through the toy box and the air hockey table was an enormous hit! We were there during a couple of REALLY rainy days, so weren't able to enjoy the outdoor space, but the fire pit and deck would have been wonderful with better weather. The community clubhouse (indoor and outdoor pools, small game room, couches, eating area/kitchen, playroom) was a true gem - especially with the rain putting a damper on some of our other outdoor plans. We were so thankful for that fun space! The day we arrived a new cleaning service had just started working in the house and had overlooked several things. Alana communicated with me extremely quickly and completely addressed our concerns. She was a wonderful host and also provided some suggestions on what to do in the area during the rainy days. We loved the space and would definitely stay again if we had plans to be in the Wilmington area.

September review

Very nice, full functioning kitchen and washer and dryer. Outside deck is awesome, we saw millions stars. 4 bed 2 full bath There were 2 bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs and 2 living rooms. Felt like enough separation for a large group. The drive way was very steep, don’t suggest finding this place late at night but we had 2 cars and we were both able to get in and out without moving the cars. There was linens, toilet paper, paper towels etc for us to use, they had a bunch of fans which was nice and only one bed had the tv but no big deal. The area of Wilmington was very nice, high up on the mountain but very small town vibes. The owners of the home gave us their phone number in case of emergency. Super host 5 stars We all loved it. 5 adults
